Ugh. Fuck you Sylvia.

Not a fan of the Giants deciding to pick up Rhodes, but I had no idea Kyle Brady was still in the league. That dude has made a shitload of money with minimal talent.

Even if the Celtics tank they'd likely end up getting the # 3 (ping pong balls be damned again) and miss both Durant and Oden.

Justine wins as easily as suspected over Kuznetsova 6-4, 6-2 for her 31st career title. She should pass 'Pova for # 1 pretty soon. Federer does the same basically with a 6-4, 6-3 win though he wasted 4 or 5 match points at 6-4, 5-2. In any case it's his 47th title and 41st straight win. If he wins IW again he'll break Vilas' record of 46 straight victories.

Because they're not there 48-50 weeks out of the year. The WWE succeeds overseas because the fans are rabid for just a taste of action since it's so rare. They too will get bored quickly if there are TV shows/cards in the area on a weekly basis with an artificially limited roster.

Dumbest idea ever from the suits in Stamford. They can't put on entertaining TV in the US anymore, but they want to create separate promotions across the globe? That's genius right there.

It's embarassing and stupid because Blake shouldn't still be in the mix. Basically what they decided to do was break the rules so the American draw could remain in the knockout stage of the tourney. You can't just change the rules midstream because you don't like them. It's absolutely the wrong decision. What they SHOULD have done was recognized the flaw and changed the rules AFTER the tournament. In any case, Federer goes for # 41 tomorrow against Youhzny and given that Mikhail looks great I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he loses in 2 tiebreaks. Justine should beat Kuznetsova for the 14th time in 15 tries (it's so bad that Justine's only lost 5 SETS in their previous 14 matches) as well to add to her trophy case.

My PS2 games (I need a new system anyway) and computer are right next to each other, so I could probably get most of that pile, and still have time to snag my IPod since all of my CDs would unfortunately have to burn.

Nice boob job Pickler. She looks like she's already going full speed down the polished plastic route. I shudder to think what she'll look like in another year if she remains anywhere near cameras. AJ got hosed, but that's his own fault because he gayed it up too much.

He tried to commit suicide by jumping off of a building.

Even though it's March 1st, I just wanted to note that Nadal lost again to Mikhail Youzhny 7-6 (5), 6-3 extending his titleless run to 12 tourneys. He hasn't won a title off of the dirt in his last 14 tries dating back to when he came from a set down against Fed in Dubai during this week last year. What's even worse is that he's far and away # 2 in the rankings and yet the guy hasn't even made a Final since Wimbledon (11 events ago). If he doesn't sweep claycourt season again, I'd go so far as to say that he peaked last summer and the drop he'll experience going into next year and beyond will be tough to watch if you're a fan of his.

The Giants NEED to make that deal.
-
The 4 cuts this week should be Barba, Leslie, Pedro & Jared. The top 6 girls should be Jordin, Lakisha, Melinda, Sabrina, Stephanie and a token white
-
The Queen of the Night should get crowned tomorrow too. She's SO dull.
-
That was ATROCIOUS. Leslie just punched her plane ticket home.
-
Stephanie can sing, but she looks too much like Fantasia. She needs to switch her color or get some extensions. That power note was brutal, but I liked the rest of it.
-
Jordin's just another in the long line of annoying Diana Degarmo's and Paris Bennett's that were 16/17, but sang and dressed like 45 year olds. She's in trouble.
-
I like Melinda. She'll get a deal no matter what from someone like Clive Davis. Barba shouldn't be allowed to sing this week, but hey she's white and pretty so slutty behavior's OK. I can't believe AI has kicked people off for much less and this talentess hooch gets to go out again. She's trying Celine Dion? LMAO
-
The last two are women singing against little girls and pretty boys. It's just a huge mismatch.
-
Lakisha wasn't an 11 this week, but she's still MILES above everyone else.

Alaina's as good as dead unless Simon helps her out again by being baited into making some rude comments courtesy of Seacrest.

Gina just called her boyfriend a "punk rock wannabe" for dyeing his hair the same color as hers. That seems hypocritical unless she also considers herself a wannabe. Carrie SMOKED Gina on that one. I didn't like that at all.

It's from the opposite direction but he didn't think Chris should have made it through his first audition, and he's only outselling Taylor & McPhee as well as Ruben, Clay AND Fantasia's most recent outings combined right now. My gut says that he'll end up being the # 3 alum from the show in the long run behind only Carrie and Kelly. He also didn't think Bo should have made it, and he ended up 2nd that year. Sundance is the first person he thought was awesome that flat out sucked though.

He tore everything. It might not be that bad, though... Carson Palmer basically had the same amount of destruction, and returned to play in 8 months. McGahee was cleared to play in 10 months, but the Bills didn't want to risk it. As long as Shaun didn't fuck up nerves or arteries or anything, he'll likely be physically able to play next year. Of course, it's different with basketball, and overcoming the physical and mental problems to be able to properly jump and constantly run again. I agree that having underdeveloped legs could have contributed to this. Knee injuries like that happen more often with women's hoops. It looked like his knee buckled when he jumped. The main difference between Carson, Willis and Livingston is neither Palmer or McGahee have to jump umpteen times per game to make a living. Livingston is more likely to reinjure himself simply because he'll be repeating that motion while both football guys were hit directly on the knee by someone trying to take them down. With as skinny as he is, I don't think he can develop his upper body to the point where he can take some more hits to counter the fact that his vertical leap and lateral quickness will both likely suffer. The guy hasn't finished a full season yet and has had some pretty bad injuries, I just wouldn't trust him not to be the next Grant Hill in that regard.

I don't want to see a Dallas/Phoenix WCF. I'm hoping for a Dallas/San Antonio rematch myself.
