When OSU marches down the field and scores another TD it'll just end up costing Michigan time. They started the 1st half with the same kind of drive and the only time they really stopped the Buckeyes was when Smith made a bad throw or two.
-
You're talking about Lloyd Carr. He'll probably put 8 in the box and try to get pressure instead.
-
These guys are WIDE OPEN ON EVERY PLAY. This is a no contest. 49-24 at best.
-
Don't say that yet. They're not even finished the first half. Two touchdowns isn't a crippling deficit with that much time left. Have you seen Michigan's "D" today? They'll be lucky to keep OSU under 42.
-
This one's about to be over when OSU scores another TD untouched. That missed pass to Manningham was a crippler.
-
BC's Jolonn Dunbarr has 2 fumble returns for TD's already, and there's only about 12 minutes left in the FIRST. BC's up 14-0 and haven't had an offensive touch yet.

The Yankees had no reliable starting pitching outside of Wang last year and still won the division by TEN. The Sawx had miserable luck with injuries after that 5 game sweep and you "beat" them by a single game, so the whole "THIRD PLACE Red Sox" thing is a little overblown when you finished with the 7th best record in the league. Take it easy tiger, there's nothing wrong with your team but it's gonna take 92+ wins to make the postseason and the Jays haven't done that since '93. Your division all but guarantees they won't again next season.

The problem with that is that Cao Boi didn't realize he would have outed Yul, so Yul had to squash the plan and vote him out. At this point Yul has nothing to lose by trusting Ozzy since they need each other, and Yul should realize that Jonathan is scum. They also have to expect that the white person alliance is not going to implode, so if they can break one of them off the rest will follow.
-
Because they need a DH, and Thomas hit 381/545/926 with 39 HR in a pitchers' park last season? The "not making the playoffs" statement as certainty is ridiculous, especially when free-agent signings are just starting. The Jays are not going to win the division and they won't win the WC with 38 games against the Yankees and Sawx, and the Tigers/Twins/Sox all probably being better as well. They can only spend so much money, and their team wasn't close to contending last year. Paying that much cash for a DH who will still probably miss 20+ games is not the best use of money.
-
There's also a $10 million option for the third year on the Thomas deal. If that's a player option the Jays are crazy. They won't be making the playoffs, so why spend that much cash on a guy who will be close to 39 years old on opening day? I just don't get it.

RIP Coach.

If Nate doesn't realize by now that Adam and Parvati have both been playing him for weeks, he never will. Yul, Ozzy, Sundra and Becky will be dying to vote Candice out of the game ASAP though, so even if Nate goes next, life won't be easy for the white people getting past the cut at 8. At best Candice has to build a fire against someone else, at worst she goes home on a 5-3 vote and then the Pagonging begins.

Whoever catches Grossman on a bad day ends up in the Super Bowl from the NFC.

Oregon/Oregon State is not on the national level the way OSU/Michigan is. This game is the equivalent of a Yankees/Red Sox World Series if that were possible.
-
Okay. Right, it's an unprecedented game in the biggest rivalry in the sport.
-
No one ever said this was the first time 1 and 2 met in November. Why did they have to dust off that obnoxious makeout commercial between the OSU dude and Michigan chick? I'd seen that one more than enough times to last a lifetime.
-
I can't really see anyone outside of Michigan or Ohio really caring much about the game though outside of a passing interest in seeing who makes it to the championship. I'll probably watch it, but its been beated to death ad nauseum all week (and most of the past 3 or 4 weeks) on ESPN. But then again, I have a hard time getting into any college football games at all because of the stupid BCS system. Maybe I'm biased. WTF? This is an unprecedented game (1 vs 2 in November) in the biggest rivalry in the sport, with definitive national title implications. It'll probably do a bigger national rating than any of this year's MLB playoff games. As a matter of fact, it might end up outdoing the actual national title game depending on who gets the # 2 spot. Your argument is like saying that no one would outside of Carolina would watch Duke/UNC in the Final 4 in the NCAA tourney.

Source: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/artic...25&skip=yes I only posted this because the first comment is funny, "I think you'll find that the biggest PS3 market will be in a little country called "ebay". "

As far as I know, the Marlins don't want to trade Willis so unless someone blows them away they won't give him away for an injury prone prospect and a lesser one to boot.
-
I'm assuming Lyn and Carlyn are eliminated next which means the other 4 teams are pretty comparable. One misstep and the Barbies are done. I think they'll make theirs at the worst possible time and finish 4th. I have a bad feeling Rob & Kim end up winning this.

Ultimate Fighter Season 4 the thread...

That's more than they deserved frankly. -
My gut says Daisuke goes about 15-11 next year with a 4+ ERA and gets lit up by the Yankees at least once.

What the hell were the Mets thinking giving Duque 2 years @ $6 million PER? That blog link made it seem like it was 2 years for $6 million total. That one was acceptable, the actual deal is not. This team as of now is looking like an 83 or 84 win team that misses the WC by about 4 or 5 games at best. If they don't re-up with Glavine or get Zito instead that'll dip to about 77 or 78 wins. Ridiculous.

Coughlin easily. Herm can't manage the clock. Tommy Boy can't manage the team.

The only people who think Atlanta got the better deal are relatives of Michael Vick, his agent, and fans of the Atlanta Falcons. It's not even close. How you could make a list of the best backs of the last 20 years and include Curtis Martin and omit Marshall Faulk is beyond me. LT in his brief career has already surpassed Curtis Martin as a complete player even if he never plays another down. Allen - 221 games - 3,022 carries, 12,243 yds, 4.1 YPC, 123 TD & 587 rec, 5411 yds, 21 TD Dickerson - 146 games - 2,996 carries, 13,259 yds, 4.4 YPC, 90 TD & 281 rec, 2137 yds, 6 TD Faulk - 176 games - 2,836 carries, 12,279 yds, 4.3 YPC, 100 TD & 767 rec, 6875 yds, 36 TD Martin - 168 games - 3,518 carries, 14,101 yds, 4.0 YPC, 90 TD & 484 rec, 3329 yds, 10 TD Sanders - 153 games - 3,062 carries, 15,269 yds, 5.0 YPC, 99 TD & 352 rec, 2921 yds, 10 TD Smith - 226 games - 4,409 carries, 18,355 yds, 4.2 YPC, 164 TD & 515 rec, 3224 yds, 11 TD LT - 88 games - 1,893 carries, 8,293 yds, 4.4 YPC, 88 TD & 386 rec, 2769 yds, 10 TD Even if he only has 2 1/2 good seasons left he'll end up with at least 11,500 yards rushing, 4,000 receiving and 115 TDs. The only recent backs he hasn't proven to be better than already are probably Faulk, Sanders and Smith.
