The Bengals just died today. How do you blow that lead at home? I'm hoping the Chargers make it to the Super Bowl since I'd like to see LT win a ring, unless they play the Giants of course. Anyone but Indy or Denver would do though.
-
Did Marvin jump yet? His team is winning now, I hope he didn't end his life when they were losing.
-
If Michigan loses next week by more than 4 points they'll end up one spot behind ND in both human polls. By hook or by crook Notre Dame will play for the title if they win out.
-
Word. If he'd put that hit on Palmer he would have been run from the game, but WR's and RB's can get murdered with no repercussions apparently. The Jets getting hosed in that Cleveland game looms even larger right now thanks to the Pats laying an egg.
-
Really? Really. Palmer's 1st half stats - 20/23, 282 yds, 2 TD

It's lights out for SD without Lights Out. 21-0 at the end of 1, is just embarassing on so many levels.

It seems ridiculous that the USC/Notre Dame winner will probably make it to the NC game because that would leave the Florida/Arkansas winner out (I'm assuming neither team loses before they meet for the SEC title). If Michigan loses next Saturday I don't think I'll be all that excited about watching the game to decide the champ since there's going to be a huge controversy about who ended up at the # 2 spot and I hate OSU.
-
If you're the O's and trading a decent reliever for a below average starter, I'm guessing you probably need more help with the rotation than the bullpen. Converting said starter to a reliever doesn't make any sense to me even if it's just Jaret Wright.
-
Yeah, I'd be nervous too because no team in the history of the NFL has ever won a game when a team did well on their first drive.

Rutgers will gain more points in the human polls than either Florida, USC or Notre Dame can based on where those teams were ranked last week. As such, they will move up a lot more than those teams. No one has them ahead of Florida in the BCS, but they will be right there with USC and Notre Dame.
-
I'm guessing this week's BCS looks something like this. 1. OSU 2. Michigan 3. Florida 4. USC/Rutgers 5. USC/Rutgers 6. Notre Dame If Florida loses, they're done. A Notre Dame 2-0 finish eliminates USC naturally. If Michigan gets blown out by OSU, the human polls will drop them well behind Notre Dame, so it comes down to Rutgers beating WVU to see whether ND or Rutgers gets the # 2 spot in the final BCS standings in that scenario.

WTF? The Orioles are giving up a prospect AND money for Jaret "4 Innings Feels" Wright? Does Brian Cashman have naked photos of all of the other GMs in baseball or something?

30-27 Serra 30-27 Lytle 30-27 Serra Nice to see consistent judging in the UFC. -
"Redd's 57 Not Enough" That's gotta sting when you break a franchise record for points in a game, score 25 in the 4th, and still lose.
-
This week Louisville, Auburn and Cal have already lost. Texas is close, but even if they pull this one off I still see Florida, Texas & USC losing games between right now and the end of the year. The rest of the SEC is trash, and Rutgers will probably lose to WVU. At this rate it'll either be OSU or Michigan vs Notre Dame if they beat USC or there will be some 2 loss team bitching that they didn't get a shot when they finish 3rd in the BCS. As long as OSU/Michigan isn't a blowout they should get the rematch since no one else is remotely impressive this year.
-
This would have been an even more awesome day for ruining the BCS if only Florida had lost. With Texas down by 21 right now, I'm beginning to think that no matter what happens whoever plays OSU or Michigan for the NC won't deserve to be there.

What the fuck happened to Bisping? This card sucks. EDIT: Found this. Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. -
As a Hughes hater, that's EXACTLY what I want to think about right now.

You guys simply don't understand that the THREAT Reggie Bush presents on the field is largely responsible for the production Drew Brees, Marques Colston, Joe Horn, and Devery Henderson have been combining for of late. I don't actually believe that, but some talking head said that recently and amazingly didn't bust out in laughter as he told that lie.
-
Grossman is overrated in terms of decision making. He has a strong arm and all that, but he makes a bunch of shitty throws even in wins. The Giants defense is banged up so he'll probably get away with it, but I still expect him to choke on a key play which will lead to the Giants winning the game in the last 2 minutes.
-
Isn't Plax hurt or something? He has back spasms, but he practiced yesterday and was able to talk trash about the Bears' DBs so he should be good to go.
-
Giants 21, Bears 20. The Gross Man comes through in the clutch with a late pick leading to an Eli TD drive with Plaxico F'n Burress pulling it down between traffic. I don't care about any of the other games since this is the only one with two winning teams.
-
No. If Rutgers was playing in the OLD Big East, then yes it would be even more improbable than GMU in the Final 4. You could argue that they only has 2 beat two quality teams all year, and one was at home. It's still an amazing run nonetheless.
-
Holy shit. Rutgers is going to be in the top 10. The end is nigh.

Nate, Jenny and Rebecca (?) are fucking idiots. That is all.
