You forgot that the Arizona Cardinals are the Arizona Cardinals.
-
Pathetic effort by the Cards and Green in the 2nd half. Only Arizona can force SIX turnovers and lose.
-
That was almost 4 years ago. Since then, Vick has done absolutely nothing noteworthy besides come close to 1,000 yards rushing for a QB (which is a completely meaningless stat).

Peter is such a douchebag, and I suspect he's a highly closeted gay man with control issues.

Just for Czech, who I know just loves Los Mets & Ozzie Guillen. In the words of the immortal Jose Lima, "BELIEVE IT!"

LT just scored his 4th TD of the game. They're all short runs though (5, 1, 1, 5) and his overall rushing numbers are pretty subpar with 21 rushes for 71 yards and a long of just 9. He also has 7 receptions for 64 yards. Rivers is probably SD's best player today though, 29 of 39 for 334 and 2 TDs.

Does anyone know what happened to Nick Saban's "genius" during the offseason?
-
If they beat OSU, they'll walk to the Nat'l Title game. If not it's irrelevant, but no team besides OSU has played better than Michigan.

Now that the Knicks are a pro sports laughingstock, no one goes to MSG. As stated before, football is different but New Yorkers don't unconditionally support anything. The same Knicks that sold over 96% of the tickets for last season aren't supported. I'm assuming that you're talking about a different Knicks, and not the ones that play in New York. Tickets sold and tickets used are not the same thing. The vast majority of Knicks tickets are sold to corporations who use them to woo clients. When a team is the drizzling shits, those tickets don't have the same value. Watch a game at MSG and guesstimate how many seats are empty and then try not to laugh when the announced attendance is near 19,763. There was a game I saw towards the end of last year where the attendance was listed at 17,000+ and there MAY have been 5,000 - 6,000 people in the building. The Nets do the same thing. You can now walk up to MSG the day of a game and get a seat from the box office for almost any team besides Miami, the Lakers and Cleveland. That was unthinkable as little as 5 or 6 years ago.

Maybe that's just a regional difference. When the Yankees sucked in the '80s, no one went to the stadium. When the Mets sucked in the '90s, no one went to the stadium. Now that the Knicks are a pro sports laughingstock, no one goes to MSG. As stated before, football is different but New Yorkers don't unconditionally support anything. Perhaps it's just based on the fact that there are literally hundreds of things one can do with their entertainment buck, but I can say with 100% certainty that if Steinbrenner passes and the Yankees go in the shitter, you won't be seeing 4 million people at Yankee Stadium. They'd be lucky to get half of that and we all know how much Yankee fans live and breathe for their team right now.

I don't think the Eagles are an elite team, NFC or not. They've lost to the Giants and Saints, and their best win to date is over Dallas who isn't that great either. On top of that, if Drew Bledsoe wasn't completely worthless that game could have gone to O.T. and anything could have happened. At 4-2 they've got a solid record, but they also have at least 7 losable games left (vs Jacksonville, and their last 6-> @Indianapolis, vs Carolina, @Washington, @N.Y. Giants, @Dallas, vs Atlanta)
-
So whatever happened to the Saints being "not that good" and the Eagles being OMG ELITE!~?
-
That was abrupt. The only positive to Silva winning is we may get Silva/Leben II: The Second Red Headed Stepchild Beating

Woo, KenFlo sucks the man meat and I didn't want to see him wearing UFC gold.
-
Sherdog makes it seem like he's dominating the fight though (he's won all 4 rounds on their card). Is the cut in a bad spot, or is it just a gusher like Dewees had in this season of TUF?
-
Lloyd Carr just reminded the nation why he's not a good head coach by passing on 3rd down there.
-
Michigan's trying to shit the bed now too.
-
If everything holds, we should FINALLY get to OSU/Michigan/everyone else, which should have been the case the week after they cursbtomped ND.
-
Let's go Auburn. Help U of M out by preserving this victory.
-
You're making a large assumption that the Mets win with either Oliver Perez or Glavine starting on limited rest.

This season is not at all interesting. I predicted that the Asians would quickly align with the Whites (even though it would have been in their best interest to go the other way), that the Blacks would suck at the challenges (based on the fact that they had 3 women and a fat guy on their team of 5), and that the Latinos would implode just based on my own experiences in dealing with cliques of each racial group represented. Of course, I didn't think the Latinos would be down to 2 people left with 15 on the island after seeing the first episode, but I also didn't think I'd hate everyone left playing this season either. Aside from Yul, Cao Boi & Ozzy no one even seems like the type of person who should be on the show, and it looks like alliances made on day 6 or so will carry at least 6 weak people to the final 10. Bleh.

Wagner didn't give up ONE run, he gave up 3. I don't have the exact stats, but there are very few times in the course of a season where a team needs to get 3 runs to tie or win the game and do that with just 3 outs to play with. Wagner, Randolph, Mota & Maine deserve to get ripped, and because Wagner makes more than the other 3 guys combined he's taking the brunt of it. When Trachsel & Perez struggle to get through 5 innings each and the bullpen can't pick them up because they're overworked already, the failure last night will only be magnified. At best, the Mets come back home down 3 to 2 with Maine starting (against Carpenter) in Game 6 and probably taking the team's final loss of 2006 logging about 90 pitches to get through 4 or 5 innings and giving up his customary 3 or 4 runs. At this point though, it doesn't really matter since the Tigers will beat either NL team in 5 games or less.

I just found out that I'm not going to be able to make the draft either, so I deleted my team.
-
So what you're saying is that it's never right to boo anyone because we can't play better than they can? If that's the case then there's no point in cheering on a player either because why give credit to someone for doing something we can't either? If you can't be criticized by lowly plebians, you shouldn't be praised either. And it's highly ironic that a Philly fan is telling someone else not to boo a member of their own team, especially when Wagner got booed in Philly last year and Abreu was run out of town this year.
-
No, but Wagner's not supposed to suck as much as Looper. Right now he's blown 1 of 4 chances and came awfully close to losing another of the three games he succeeded in. If that number ends up being 1 for 10 or 1 for 11 in blown outings, then he was worth the money. If this game costs the Mets the NLCS as I think it will, then he's just the next Rojas, Benitez or Looper.
