mole & bob barron are two of my favorites now. whats wrong with me?

never understood the fascination with family guy which warrants these straight to dvd releases. is there anyone remotely likeable in that show? anyone funny? please don't say the dad. or the son. or any of the girls, because face it, girls are never funny. stewie has about a 50% chance of saying something funny. and the dog is the dog. i don't get it. compare that to arrested developments roster of funny. seriously. and want to know who the funniest is on that show? george michael. fuck, do i love that kid. but really, there isn't anyone unfunny on that show. for the reason alone, wouldn't ad take the cake? in my world it does, and thats really all that counts. give me spongebob fucking squarepants over family guy. i really hate family guy. my opinion counts as i've deemed myself the funniest & most sophisticated & irreverant poster in tsm history. i slay myself.

some people are just not suited to share their picture on the internet. it does a total disservice to the appearence you have given these people in your own mind.

i think more people "get" reggae than you are suggesting. but who knows. regardless i think czechs original comment was asinine. -
barron is awesome. he's grown on me.

i don't buy that. there's plenty of reggae/dance hall artists like mia or even damian marley that are not singing topical songs about their region. do tropical rhythems actually scare away listeners? saying people in america can't relate to the words of bob marley is like saying no one outside of north america & western europe can't relate to bob dylan. i don't get it? are dylans protest songs culturally limiting, too? -

how is it culturally limiting? i don't understand... -
jason schwartzmann would have been the best & most obvious choice for the role. austin powers was chosen by the movie execs, forsure. i dont have faith he'll be able to pull it out. considering that myers has to be over 40 & he's playing a guy who died at the age of 32. schwartzmann.

it was written is better than the lost tapes. sure it was a glossier sound, but those were glossier times. streets dreams? c'mon. the best is the message, arguably one of nas's finest tracks ever recorded. it was the two albums that preceded it was written that debunked his sophmore release. but with still matic nas once again proved himself. we can all proclaim to like it was written again folks. who're you kidding beside yourself?

dub is like the reggae version of jazz. do you have trouble understanding why people like jazz? -
I would have loved Street's Disciple if they cut it down to one CD, because there were some very good songs on there, but a lot of the beats were awful and there was just too much filler crap on there for a 2-disc. I like Lost Tapes more than Illmatic, I think lyrically Lost Tapes is just about on par with Illmatic, but the production is what puts it over the top. Every song on Lost Tapes is a classic to me, except maybe the bonus track "Fetus", I'm not really into that one. The Lost Tapes was really what Nastradamus or I Am should have been, but he went into that whole "Escobar" phase. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> understandable. but you're still wrong. the lost tapes is really good. i agree. its not not illmatic.

it surely isn't streets disciple which was an underated release last year. everyone dismissed it as it didn't really have any singles, and really, double albums are rarely any good. plus nas got all soft on disk 2, but who cares? plenty of fresh songs, unfortunately they were stretched a too far over 100+ minutes. its not the opus he wanted but better than several releases of his. and whats with hyping the lost tapes over illmatic? nice attenpt at being different, but you are very very wrong. i'd take it was written over the lost tapes. let alone stillmatic. maybe maybe even streets disciple.

reasonable doubt wasn't as good as other debut albums from that period. it sustained him up to a point, but it was the blueprint that made jay-z the man in rap music. the supposed king of new york. it also triggered kanye's career too, and let to numerous blueprint-lite albums.

best worst one of the most distressing declines in rock n roll history. my god, islands is BAD

most of the critisism towards this doc is unwarranted. sure, it had its faults, but the reasons (no talk of drugs, sara, personal life) is complete b.s aside from blonde on blonde (which shoulda at least been discussed), sara had nothing to do with his music from that era. his drug addiction was alluded to, and if while never mentioned, if you didn't see how it affected him & his music at the time in the doc- you're an idiot. go watch ray.

sorry. i'd maybe say that of reasonable doubt.

Tough call. I would say that slightly edges out The Blueprint. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no.

Warrior absolutely shreds WWE in Byte This reponse
Annabelle replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
he made tasteless comments, but i think the warrior is onto something in his descriptions of triple h, jim ross, and especially vince. vince is a bully. he's made o living out of treating people like garbage. warrior has lot his mind, and we all get to reap the benefits. i think this is great. i bet vince does, too. -

that was brilliant. while classless in some areas, he surely has a right to be angered by the slanderous tales told by vince. vince has been a bully for years, and because of no competition, all of the old timers have come crawling back to him for one last pay day. they all hate him, they just have no pride. at least warrior stands up for what he believes in. i respect THAT from him. -
the second part is so much better than the first. for the record.
