DD was a good flick. 2 more...

It was an accident, and Bret had many a concussion before then. Just so happened the one Goldy gave him was the final one.

For me, XX looks to be what could be the best one yet. I started watching wrestling at Nitro parties in '97. Two guys that always stuck out to me were Eddy and Benoit. Now their headlining WrestleMania. Plus Brock and Goldberg, something that I've wanted to see since Brock's first appearance in the WWE. While the card certainly has it Goose Eggs, the card as a whole is Incredible. I'll gladly pay Vince his ransom and I won't complain either.

You know what's really funny about Brock leaving?

I really don't think Lesnar jumping ship hoses Benoit's chance of winning gold sunday. It still makes sense that Benoit will go over Shawn at Mania and eventually face Trips down the road and drop the belt there. Lesnar leaving may hurt imediate plans for after Mania, but they can always push other talent. Like Big Show, Chavo, Orton (You knew this was happening anyway), or Kane. Call me crazy but both Benoit/Eddy are going over Sunday. -
That's laughable. Vince still has plenty of money and the company is no where near WCW levels of Red yet. WWE isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Now that I've jinxed them...

Mechassault, Crimson Skies and Knights of the Old Republic. There ya go three titles worth the dough.

Yay! Mark Henry! [/sacasm]

Huge Update On Chris Benoit's WWE Future

Pipe Dream. I fully expect to see Benoit added the RAW babyface casuality list. But eh, it's Trips company now, he can do what ever he wants. -
Picked it up at Target today for 15.99. If you buy it there you can also get Nightmare or New Nightmare for 5 bucks. Not a bad deal.

I used to be like "The Original Trilogy is Gospel" and "Prequels Suck". Then like a lightning bolt, it hit me after watching all the films in order in one sitting... It's the same story teller and there's no difference between the originals and the prequels. Only difference in your mind, Yoda said something like that. And SotE rocked. Prince Xizor was by far the second best EU villian. The first? Thrawn

To me its sad when someone has to ask about the difference in the Original and Special Editions. But JasonX summed it all up. Basically anything that looks like CGI and wouldn't be around in 1977 to 1983, was probably added in the films. Don't worry, when GL comes around to releasing the Trilogy on DVD this year, we'll be seeing the Ultimate Editions not the SE or the Originals.

Square has lost "it" a long time ago. These pics don't surprise me at all. -
I might be the only one but I thought Hook for SNES was great. The music, the graphics, and the easy gameplay were all excellent IMO.

Ed in my opinion, You didn't miss much. And the scalpers couldn't give away the tickets

Sounds a lot like the Nashville houseshow that happened tonight. Except for the London/Spanky vs. WGTT, the night was a bust. Plus the small crowd didn't help matters either.

You know I've seen quite a few shows up at the good ol' fairgrounds and what kills it for me is the following things: 1) No AC - During the winter its not that bad but on those hot summer nights, Jumping Jesus on a Pogo stick! I lost 20 pounds in two hours. 2) The Crowd - The marks in the stands have no idea who to cheer for and plus they have an attention span of a three year old. 3) Tickets - This is a big one for me, I paid for ringside every time I went to the show. I could have just as easily stood outside for comp tickets like 85% of the audience and still gotten a great seat. I understand that they have to make it look like TNA is popular in Nashville by filling the seats but geez, some local advertising or something wouldn't hurt. Someone mentioned that the fairgrounds are in a bad spot, the area isn't that bad. But Mr. Average Middle Class is going to think twice about going up there on weekday evening and staying late. Trust me the fairgrounds aren't that scary when the Flea Market is in town

While Goldeneye and Man with the Golden Gun are both strong openers, I'd say my favorite is OHMSS. But then again it's my favorite bond flick, so I'm biased.

Too much history of bad blood there for it to work. Although I would love to see it happen in my lifetime.

Note on Tacoma Raw brand show (11/22/03)

If Tommy goes to TNA, I'll start buying TNA tickets again. <--- Still Waiting on Hogan to show up at the Fairgrounds -
They aren't going to renew his contract once it's up. So he isn't gone yet...

It's great! I picked it up today at work. Highly recommended.

Sounds like you had a pretty good live experience. Shame about Tommy though.
