Just got back from the Early Showings at 8pm. And all I can say is... WOW. Superb effects + 80's Love + A plot inspired from the Cartoon = A mess in my pants. Just give the movie a chance and forget everything that you know when you were a kid, and prepare to fall in love again.

It kinda looks like the G1 helmet from the profile shot but from the front, I get a Beast Machines Megatron vibe from him. Spoiler

In other random news... I finally got my Wii back just in time for Super Paper Mario! The Big N couldn't fix my Wii so I got a complete replacement. They transferred all my Mii's and data from the old machine to the new which was a shock. Aside from it taking almost a month, I'm very satisfied with Ninty on this. Oh and Kids, Always ALWAYS register your serial numbers... makes things like extended warranty worth while.

The movie has definitely come along way, but what drives me up the wall is that the hype machine has already started. In a two hour span, I saw four commercials for this movie and its three months away.

Game Saves and Mii's are going to be DELETED (/Strong Bad). She said that they may have to purge the memory, which I already kinda figured they would re-flash the memory. The shipping label/box should be here tomorrow, so I have until then to try to evac my Mii's. Eh, as long as I get my machine back or a new one, I'll be happy. Just means I have to beat WarioWare again!

Well my Wii is dead. It just keeps freezing after five minutes of operation. Got on the horn with NoA and I'm gonna be shipping my baby off to hopefully get repaired. Nintendo's customer service, at least over the phone, has been stellar this far.

Another bad example. Have you played those? Each is like an entirely new game! New map, new story, new missions. They're totally different games that use the same gameplay system. Not "expansion packs" at all. Nah, they're all the same game. Nothing innovative at all about that series other than GTAIII's leap to 3D from 32-bit overhead sprite "goodness".

I'm almost finished with the last case of Ace Attorney, and after that I've got Justice for All ready to go! On a side note, it looks like Hotel Dusk maybe within the same vein as Phoenix but a tad more serious.

I would have been fine with an answer like "Supplies are limited and are first come fist serve." but when he's says "We've had a ton of preorders" while I'm the only preorder. That just miffs me.

Ok so I went into my EB last friday to place a last minute pre-order for Phoenix Wright: Justice for All. Apparently EB and Capcom were giving out a preorder bonus. So when I placed my 5 bucks down I asked the clerk if I would recieve the preorder bonus and his reply "I don't know, we've had tons of preorders for it and it's first come first serve." So ok, I'll roll the dice and see if I get the bonus. I picked the game up yesterday and the same clerk goes "Ok here's your stylus and it looks like you were the only preorder I had."

Starfox DS was a good game btw. And as for Warhawk's impending "doom", eh... It didn't look that great and they couldn't even use the SixAxis correctly during the demo videos I watched.

WarioWare took me two hours to beat but it's great if you have people to play with. The Darts mini game you unlock once you beat the game is well worth it.

Sure they were, They sold every unit and sold more than the PS3, I don't see how the sales weren't good at all. And lets compare the PSP sales to the system that it's competiting with, say the DS. But if we want to compare apples to oranges then the DS beat out the PS3 by a rediculous ammount.

Soldier Blade is the sequel to Super Star Soldier. And both titles are great if you like shooters.

Yeah I've heard alot of nonsensical things while going into the various Gamestop/EB stores. My recent favorite was two clerks having a battle of wits over which is better the 360 or the PS3. So I'm just looking at the various Used Gamecube stuff and the obvious lack of Wii accessories when I hear this nugget: Clerk 1: The blue ray discs can hold an enormous ammount of space and with the new texture compression technology, so the games on the PS3 are going to be longer! There will be more value in buying a game! The Xbox 360 can't hold nearly enough data to make longer and better games. Now if anyone has heard Lewis Black's White Album, this comment stuck with me much like that "If it wasn't for that Horse, I never would have made it through that year of college" bit. Coming up to the counter I decide to interject my opinion into the Nerdfight and play Devil's Advocate. Me: I'm sorry, but since when have game companies actually used all of the availible storage for data on any video game system? More storage space? All that means that they don't HAVE to compress anything and just chuck it on the disc. It also allows for sloppy programming and redundant code to fill up the disc. You think EA is going to fill Madden 08 with oodles of content and depth just because of the BluRay disc? And the reason you have the slow load times on the PS3 is because THEY DON'T USE compression techniques on the PS3. Clerk 2 Smiles. Clerk 1: Who asked you? And besides the PS3 will be the system of choice because of BluRay movies . And besides texture compression technology is brand new! Me: *Puts a copy of Fzero GX on the counter* Well they had texture compression technology on the N64, so it certainly isn't new. Look, all I'm saying is that you shouldn't expect companies to give you more for the same price they've always been charging. And if you bought the PS3 to play movies, congrats you just bought a 600 dollar Betamax. Clerk 2: *Trying not to laugh* Have a nice day. Clerk 1 is just sitting there fuming I love Nerdfights.

The only trouble I had with your poll is whether to vote for a grand rebirth of a classic (New Super Mario Bros.) or the next installment of one of the greatest franchises ever (Castlevania: PoR). New Super Mario Bros. was perfect in every way, C:PoR on the other hand, wasn't. Even though I'm a huge mark for Castlevania, Mario wins this round. However I might have even voted for MGS:PO if I had played it.

I know over at the Hudson boards people are still up in arms over the emulation issues (Scrolling is Sloooooow) in Military Madness (Great Game Btw). So they have held back their next VC title, Dungeon Explorer, because of the same emulation issues. Nintendo apparently is hell bent on releasing every mediocre title for the NES. I know Reggie has said that they will stagger out the VC hits in between the big releases for the Wii, so after WarioWare comes out we should see top notch stuff arrive. And it's not like Super Castlevania, Toe Jam and Earl, or R-Type was a let down on Christmas. Supposedly Mario RPG comes out in Feb... So just hang in there gang!
