It's a great finish by any standards. Tops of the tournament BY FAR.

That was f'in insane. Pittsnogle hits this clutch f'in 3 ...and then paulino seals it. Reminds me of that lakers vs. spurs game where duncan hit the long 3, then derek fisher hit the .4 second shot.

WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!??

Morrison is good. I can't wait till he knocks over some bigger brawnier black guy in the NBA driving to the basket and stands over him like all the cocky nba superstars do, it'll be hilarious to see what happens. Gonna be some weird stuff.

Why would they dump Jamie? Doesn't he have like a 75% winning percentage? Soft schedule. Can't win big games. Wants more money, because Arizona St. and Missouri are after him. He doesn't do the recruiting anyway, Barry Rorrhson does it. He'd be a better coach too, I feel. Calipari is -clearly- a better coach, especially on offense. Dixon can't win the big games, he doesn't adjust well (Won't switch to a zone or even a zone and man type scheme) and has a poor ability to coach offense. I guess when you're from here, and you've seen every game for several years you start to realize there might be some limitations a guy has, and you get an idea whether he can ultimate reach the next level. He is a cool guy though.

Bradley's gonna lose...here's to hopin Pitt dumps Jamie Dixon and gets John Calipari this summer. That'd be , like amazing

3/18...think Redick is ready for NBA athleticism yet? I'm somehow thinking the answer is no. The cool thing is against UCLA we'll be able to see if Morrison can handle NBA level athleticism when Afflalo is guarding him.

Tyrus Thomas = future nba shotblocking god. Man can he move laterally and jump.
-
Redick just f'in elbowed him!!!!!
-
You notice how we didn't get the replay.
-
Bullshit. Shelden committed that foul. That was lame.
-
Tyrus Thomas is better than Rudy Gay. That's all i need to say.

NO. it sucks ass. Coming from a huge fan of the original. It's a STUPID movie. The plot's almost decent, but the movie's 75% action scenes, and those action scenes are really, really terrible. And more unrealistic than a John Woo movie, without the exchange of being viscerally thrilling. I can't remember the dialogue as being good at all. Without Kawada or Beat Takeshi, there's no particularly interesting characters. For the most part I agree, but it is a fun movie to watch in a way, because the concept is entertaining, even if the execution is poor. The movie is actually worse as it gets closer to the end...it ends almost incoherently.

Tyrus Thomas showing some SERIOUS hops on those blocks.

Anyone know how tall Glen Davis is? (Real height, not listed height) Cus he has amazing quicks/agility for his mass, I just don't think he's much more than 6'9" and that might hurt him. edit: HAH, on espn front page they say he's 6'9"...he might be undersized in the nba then again, he could be like elton brand if he has the work ethic.

I could say the same thing for Batman Begins... and Star Wars Ep III.... and Spawn... and the Matrix trilogy... and Pulp Fiction... and the Robert Rodriguez "Mariachi" trilogy.... and.... and Anatomy, Visitor Q, virtually any of Takashi Miike's movies for that matter. Suicide Club is like that too...Countless movies involve violence. It's interesting. But that doesn't really make a valid means for comparison. It's too broad.

Maybe you're just REALLY bad at drawing comparisons to things, and should stop trying to do it? the very first movie that jumped in my head when I saw v for Vendetta and the 'Knife-time' was the Matrix. then Battle Royale 2. I never once thought of SinCity. Sometimes I thought of 1984 when I was watching the movie though, and I even thought about the book Market Forces by Richard K. Morgan. I'd say you need to read more books and watch more movies then.

Quote of the Day "I don't know the exact prognosis, but it's not very good. There's a reason we didn't trade Michael Doleac, and that's because of this exact possibility. He's going to have to step up." -- Heat coach Pat Riley, concerned that Alonzo Mourning might have torn a calf muscle in the loss to Detroit. Just read that on espn.com daily dime... Couldn't happen to a nicer guy *eye roll* I can't stand Alonzo after that shit he pulled to get out of his contract. What an a-hole. I hate when announcers gush about him and his recovering from a kidney and stuff, not even mentioning what a douchebag he was about actually playing for the team who SIGNED him WITH A BAD KIDNEY. Pisses me off.

They said on ESPN last night that there was an 80% chance of Amare playing tonight. I'd like to see that game, see how they get him into the flow.

Just to reinforce my last post. Everything Special K said is also true. Worst movie critic ever.

How can SinCity and V for Vendetta have similar plots. Sin City had 4 different plots to go with the 4 different stories it told. Not a one of those plots had ANYTHING to do with a government at all. One of them had to do with a crazy sadistic killer taking down a child molesting priest/authority figure...I mean is that the similar story you're talking about?!?! They are not alike in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. They really aren't even similar on ANY level except they're both based on comic books. The buck stops there. Sin City is pretty unique in that there isn't any movie like it in recent memory, (I'd compare it to Dark City more than anything else because they both use a film noir atmosphere, though Dark City lacks the raw violence. V for Vendetta is what Battle Royale 2 wanted to be, but couldn't quite pull off (Yeah that's the only movie I can think of that has a similar pro-terrorism to take down a corrupt government message) Though Battle Royale 2 may have had a more sophisticated message in the end, it wasn't nearly as polished.

I can't even read that without dying inside.

I agree, I just can't afford NOT to watch AK-47 82 games next year. I'll probably convince my parents to pay for it for me for an x-mas gift. Deron Williams is looking better recently. I think he's adapting well, after looking terrible early in the season. Edit: He's just plain controlling the end of this game right now. Wow.
-
Legends of the Hidden Temple? WTF?
-
Damn AK-47 with the behind the back move. That was insane.
