My first TNA ppv (I've watched 1 and a half of the weekly spike tv shows as well) I enjoyed the ppv for the most part, was underwhelmed by Liger/Joe (Mostly based on time, as I cared more about that than that diamonds in the rough vs. jobbers match that really seemed forced onto the card) I REALLY like Ron Killings every time I see him, he just has a certain type of charisma, imho and I don't understand why he isn't a main eventer, as he really just has the look and attitude of a -super-star to me. Jeff Hardy is insane. I dont understand why they chose Rhino to be put over so strongly, as I hinted at before I think Killings would do a lot better with that kind of huge rub from winning three matches in one night, or Samoa Joe. In fact those are the only two guys (aside from Christopher Daniels who seems strictly x-division) that really come off as having superstar level charisma and attitude and look to them. My one real problem with the show, and all TNA shows: None of their stories or angles will EVER get over to the viewers as long as they're running them out of universal. That crowd just ruins 90% of all the matches with dueling chants/etc. that really destroy a lot of the face/heel dynamic TNA is trying to develop. IT's impossible for anyone to really dislike/like any of their characters if nothing really tells you who's in the 'right' especially to a first-time/casual viewer. It's distracting and confusing, and I honestly wish they started to do some heavy editing on their shows to fix the reactions... Other than that, I had a good time

That's my initial thought, and what I'll probably end up going to (One of the other reasons I would reccomend Kevin Jones over Larry Johnson), but I'm worried Westbrook is getting pissier and pissier at Andy Reid and will just shut it down till he switches teams next year, whereas Tatum Bell is going nuts with that 10 ypc average i just know that whichever I choose the other one is gonna have a huge game this week, though I should look at the positive in that I'll prolly not end up seeing either game on TV (Philly game will definitely be superceded by the steeler game, and If CBS is doing a doubleheader, I'm gonna end up with the shitty as can be baltimore game because CBS hates me and thinks I want to see baltimore cus they're in the same conference as the steelers.)

[ I have to agree with everything Vitamin X said, but i'm amazed someone else even knows who McMahon is. I still think before the end of the year he'll be winning games for Philadelphia (McNabb should just get that damn surgery and be ready for the playoffs, i think he's being selfish) and earning himself a shot somewhere, which should lead to Matt millen being fired for ever letting the guy go. But that's what "1st round pick" mentality does to you in the nfl, you play guys with less talent cus you don't want to look like a fool.

Kevin Jones, Cleveland can't stop the run and jeff Garcia might play, and that threat alone could be enough to open up a few holes. I feel Miami has a better defense than Cleveland (especially personell wise) Edit: There's also the potential for heavy rain in the chiefs/dolphins game which will make for a sloppy game that has very little running (reminds me of Steelers v. Dolphins last year when Verron Haynes ended up the leading rusher for the Steelers) Here's my tough question: Brian Westbrook or Tatum Bell!? Both have big play capability (Westbrook in the passing game as much as running the ball) but Bell has been better recently... (With McGahee as the number 1 back without a doubt)

Maybe someone will make an awesome wrestling game of some sort for xbox360 this spring *I can hope* TNA is supposed to be working a vid game deal, so who knows what could come of that...(I get wrestling games for the gameplay, moveset, and create a character function more than anything else ) I'll probably give SvR2 a rental, just like I did the first one...and also probably return it a week early like the first one.

Barkley was on Leno last night apparently, and here's what he had to say: - Charles Barkley offered the most interesting and authoritative take yet supporting the NBA dress code. Here's the money quote from Leno on Wednesday night: "Young black kids dress like NBA players. Unfortunately, they don't get paid like NBA players. So when they go out in the real world, what they wear is held against them. "See, these players make $10 million to $15 million a year, so nobody cares how they dress. But regular black kids go out into the real world and how they dress is held against them. "If a well-dressed white kid and a black kid wearing a do-rag and throwback jersey came to me in a job interview, I'd hire the white kid. That's reality. That's the No. 1 reason I support the dress code." -

I find it funny they got rid of Mike McMahon after Harrington's first season, a guy who has a -lot- better skills than harrington (not to mention some decent mobility being built in a bit of a jeff garcia mold with better size). They would kill to have had McMahon instead of Harrington this year, as well as a bunch of other quarterbacks for that matter.

I don't like the range on the sword, reality shift is nicer because it's a projectile, don't even have to go near an enemy to do the 2000+ damage. Sunfire is a badass character though, Ignite is a strong strong attack.

Not a single bit, if it helps I play the xbox version, it's possible it could be a ps2 error? A lot of freezing happens in ps2 versions of games simply because the ps2 is a piece of crap (However much I like some of the games I own for it )

I am active, contrary to my no-show at Lockdown and Storm might suggest. Hopefully I can put up some previously promised promos on Smarkdown to make up for my horrible horrible lack of content. (Sometimes you just can't escape real life for long enough )

Scarlet Witch is the most deadly character in this game. Reality Shift has the highest damage of any ability in the game, something about the way it calculates damage is off in the mechanics. I did 2500 damage on Archangel with it, and like 1900 on Mr. Sinister. Combustion is also sick because of the DoT affect and high damage in general for a radial attack (By and far the strongest radial attack) Reality Shift is really broken though, it's sick, but makes the game a bit nonchallenging that I can walk in and kill bosses with only a few attacks. Fun game, I love iron man, and he's decent in the game but it's hard to go down to using him after being spoiled with mega-powerful scarlet witch. The tractor beam thing is really nasty, and it's fun to use too

you're 3-1, including your initial jobber squash We're 2-1 including our jobber squash... (Which I don't have listed with our tag record) That would make you having 1 more win...with one more tag match. That doesn't prove much of anything in terms of performance Especially since both teams have lost their last match. I just think it's important to look at the facts, rather than the hype
-
I wasn't under the impression that a no-show win meant anything less than one where your opponent does show. As a matter of fact I've heard stories of certain people who made a living of winning big matches in no show situations. Anyway, I wouldn't consider it gloating, more of the fact that Mikeofevil keeps trying to avoid acknowledging it as a loss...you know with the 'lightning won't strike twice' and the 'you guys can ask for a rematch' I find it to be a bit unusual that he considered us not worth showing for before, and yet at every opportunity tries to put that match over as a fluke, not a serious loss. Basically he's acting like a selfish little prick because he wants his team to look good, and he realizes that if he acknowledges they lost to someone he feels is 'beneath' them, then they -won't- look good. Why not man up and say "Shit you're right, we DO have to go through you first, we SHOULD be begging for a rematch, not avoiding the situation" Let's see your FIGHTING SPIRIT!!! EDIT: Just so you know, I'm pretty cranky right now. So this may come off as more caustic than intended.
-
That is a good point, shouldn't it be TKO looking for the rematch in reality? Especially being the default face tag team, they would be itching to prove themselves?

I know I tried to explain most of the moves on my stats that weren't readily obvious (For example, I did assume everyone knows what a torture rack is) Most of Wards' moves are fairly standard, and his few unique to him moves I wrote out... If there's something on my stats I didn't explain properly, let me know I'll be glad to try and explain it to the best of my ability.

I was just curious if anyone more in touch with the RoH product knows why they make stops all around Ohio (And as far west as Chicago), but fail to make on in PGH? Is it because they're based in Philadelphia and they don't want to alienate their fans, or feel they won't draw here? It's a bigger city than Dayton and even a little larger than Cleveland and it's close to LOTS of communities... I mean I would love to enjoy their product in person (and would then start buying dvd's if it's as great as everything I read about) if I had even one chance to see it. Thanks for any info anyone might have

FADE IN "Ben Hardy here, and I'm inside the locker room at the Plattsburg Civic Center just minutes after Smarkdown...here to get the scoop for SWF fans the world over!" The camera zooms out to show Ben Hardy sitting on a bench...right next to Marcus Ward. Hardy looks straight at Marcus and asks him point blank, "Marcus...the wrestling world needs to know...what IS the status of your knee." Ward's eyes are closed with his head resting against the white-painted concrete wall of this rinky-dink civic center. Marcus Wards' hands are clenched at his sides...and the camera pans right and zooms out to show the tremendously large mountain of ice that is resting on his left knee. Hardy repeats his question tenatively, "Marcus...I want to know...the fans WANT to know...just how injured are you?!?" The Mastermind opens his eyes and stares scimitars into the sweating forehead of Ben Hardy as he whispers just loud enough for the microphone to pick up in the most chillingly serious voice... " Not enough " Marcus reaches his hand out and politely lifts the microphone out of the trembling palms of The SWF's number one reporter...and directs his hateful stare right into the camera just as it zooms in on his face... "Tomorrow morning I'll undergo a Total Knee Arthroplasty. My patella will be replaced. My cartilage will be replaced. Fortunately there has been no ligament damage so full functionality will be restored, albeit with significant differences. The patella will be a VERY hard metal alloy and the cartilage will be a sophisticated polymer plastic..." Ward pauses and clears his throat. "Tonight I ignored doctor's orders and wrestled Todd Cortez. Let me rephrase that...I BEAT Todd Cortez on ONE leg." Ward closes his eyes for a moment then continues. "Tomorrow is surgery. I'm supposed to begins months of rehabilitation on wednesday..." Marcus shakes his head. "I have other plans." Suddenly the video image is twisted sideways as Marcus Ward has reached out and grabbed the camera...and then the picture goes fuzzy as by the sound in the room he has just slammed it into the concrete walls and busted a very expensive SWF camera!!! Ward's voice cuts through, the visual feed a conglomeration of random still pictures and overlaying static... "Jay Hawke." Ward's trademark smirk flashes before being replaced with snow. "You tried your worst." A quick image of The Masterminds finger tapping his temple is seen...before the camera loses its signal. "Now it's my turn." FADE OUT

I'd tip her if she gave you anything you feel was -extra- (whether that be services or in sheer performance ) It's a matter of choice, really. It's already under the table(depending on the country?) so if she was expecting it, she would have charged more. Were you really clumsy and stuff, if so I might tip her also. Was she discreet, polite, well-mannered/well-groomed? also what level of service were you after, was it a 40 dollar street hooker or a professional escort.

I managed to do the first one somehow. The second one is a whole lot of fun to play cus of the huge number of enemies, but the closest I've gotten is 4/10 on it. I might try it tonight w/ my fiance helping (Usually I do the danger room stuff without her cus she just wants to blow stuff up, hates objectives) Very hard to get the right timing in this one, but on the flipside combos don't have nearly the same in-game impact in this one (Which I feel is a good thing)

This is just a guess, but I would imagine the fact it's not owned by an NFL team/orginzation or even affiliated with one has a big thing to do with that. If they had one there, that company/organization that owns the Rose Bowl would get a big chunk of their ticket profits, and I doubt the nfl likes that idea. Whereas they go to somewhere like Ford Field, bam every cent is going to the NFL in one way or another. Profit Margins = decisions

St. Louis and Indy most likely don't have the proper amount of seating to meet NFL guidelines. I know for a fact (Through lots of family from the areA) that San Diego has to alter their stadium seating every time they have the super bowl to fit enough people in to be allowed to carry the game. Ford Field is a VERY large venue and most likely was designed specifically to meet those requirements.

I saw the first half of the Pens/Devils game (Gonna get to see just about every single crosby game being in pittsburgh, woo) Brodeur was friggin amazing, he single handedly won that game for them (The Devils defense really didn't do too much, especially in the first period) Crosby seemed fairly good, and against a lesser goalie may have even scored on his first shot ever (He could have gone high on a nice backhand and maybe got it in, but it was a tough chance) No shame in the pens only scoring once on Brodeur...but Thibault and our defense do need to perform better!

*senses fishy CW title change at Lockdown, even fishier International title change on Smarkdown leading to Grand Slam Maddix using fishy 4 titles to lobby for World Title shot against ELM to become Cinco de Maddix* Smells like fish in here. ;p -

Uhh isn't the Cruiser title in your 'stable'??!? Does that really count as a shot, when JJ lays down for you fingerpoke of doom style? ;p Or did that never happen?
