Wasn't Cena in a blindfold match about a year ago? Is he going to be blindfolded for this or just one arm tied back? If so that's lame, the guy is huge compared to Lita, even with one hand I would expect him to win.

Brady hasn't been whining. In the post-game press conference he said he was happy with the guys they have, they are working hard and doing a good job and the Branch thing is past tense. It's the Boston media that are whining. But the Boston media is notorious for that, as soon as something goes slightly wrong they just start mowing down targets. Some people at the game said Brady didn't have good accuracy.

Boston media is ripping on the Pats management for not spending money. The Pats are way under cap, they've lost a bunch of starters without getting any back. Brady took less money so that the Pats could keep some other guys, and they aren't keeping anybody. If Dillon can't stay healthy they are fucked with an ok running game and no passing game. You can't throw to the tight end on every play.

Pats looked bad. No running game, no receivers open. Losing Branch and not getting anyone back is a big blow. They've done a good job of replacing guys with other guys but at some point you do need some playmakers. Their receiving core is just atrocious.

Chris Simms had his spleen removed. Ruptured spleen can be deadly. Hopefully he'll be ok. Edit: Well now they are saying it is "undisclosed condition" so who knows.

They aren't coming back, lol. This game is a blowout, they are making it a tiny bit interesting but that's it.

Isn't there a different game they can switch to? This is horrible. I was expecting a decent game too. --- The Jets are not an awful team. They could be pretty good if they had any running game. They'll have big problems against teams with good pass defense. Pennington is a good QB when he is healthy, and he looks healthy. Edit: Last week I was going to say Plaxico is very underrated. Oops. The giants receiver wasn't even looking at the ball on that deep throw. This is horrible.

His career outside of WWE is crap. A sci-fi movie, VH1 shows, etc. I expect him to come back at some point. I don't think a guy like that can go from being a real star to being a random dork on the sci-fi channel.

Good for Melvin seeing an opening and hitting it not once but twice. The Crow had a chance to do something similar to Swick when he had him against the wall and was going for elbows to the face but didn't do it. In general UFC guys don't seem very good at mixing up body blows, head shots and uppercuts. A lot of UFC guys block punches by putting their hands near their ears, which protects the head pretty well but leaves the body totally open. Loiseau looked really tentative in the first two rounds, maybe after-effects of his last fight. He looked good in the 3rd but then again he was well-rested and Swick had been more active in the first 2 rounds. I don't buy into any conspiracy theories. Why would a fighter choose to lose the first two rounds to slow the fight down? At least if they were going to slow it down they would split. It was a great show overall. No heavyweights = good night.

Good set of fights. Matt Hughes was a total dick like always. He is the typical crybaby/bully who can dish it but can't take it. He disrespects Penn then gets his panties in a bunch when GSP does the same to him. Weak. Penn really impressed for the first 2 rounds, then just totally gassed. Its a shame because up until then he was dominating Hughes. The other fights were all pretty good. Rashad manhandled that other dude. Same with the fight with Melvin, he was just tossing the other guy around. To that guy's credit though he took a lot of punishment and almost pulled it out. I missed the last UFC so the last one I saw was Ortiz/Shamrock. This show was 10x better.

I don't want to turn this into some silly one-upmanship thread, I'm just curious what people here do, especially as a percentage of body weight. For example I weigh about 165 and bench about 250. (For a few reps, say 4 or so) My military/overhead press is about an even hundred. (I seem to have kind of weak shoulders in general) I'm just sort of wondering what the typical ratios tend to be vs. body weight and different excersizes. Is the fact that I can bench 2.5x what I can press normal?

Ha ha stupid NFL officiating...WTF is going on? They say a guy isn't out of bounds when he clearly is, then review the play after another play has taken place? I wonder if the NFL is ever going to get serious about officials.
