The problem with Rhino's promo is that anytime you focus on the competition, or even acknowledge them, it makes you look smaller and less important.

Isn't this Steiner/Jarrett angle the exact same angle WWE ran with Batista/HHH? Big dumb animal slowly awakens to title opportunity? Edit: The main event was pretty decent, although Steiner didn't really pull his weight.

You guys are too hard on Ken. He is good. He is also old and worn down. Ken did well when the competition was softer but he isn't a Tank. He has some legit skills. Most of these "old school" vs. "new school" matches are stupid because all the old school guys are just that - old. I'm not going to say that Ken from 1996 or so could beat Tito or Franklin but it would at least be a hell of a lot closer.

Damn this episode has been really good. I think I'm hooked! The pacing here has been so much better than in the pilot. I'm really digging it.

To me that's a very silly attitude. You won't watch best wrestling on TV because it isn't "important."? What the hell is important on RAW? It's wrestling, nothing is important anyway. You think the return of DX is some sort of historic event. Someone name the last important thing that happened on RAW...yeah...

All you guys who are like "this makes me want to stop watching wrestling forever" - just watch Smackdown. Raw is crap and ECW is crap as well. Smackdown is good. It's clear that there is no vision for ECW at all, it's just another Raw and Raw sucks ass. I'll never understand why Smackdown threads are 2 pages while ECW and Raw get 10+ pages. Are you guys all lemmings who watch the "A show" just because they are told it's the A show? Yeah the timeslot sucks and it gets pre-empted, but it's worth watching. Raw and ECW aren't even worth recording.

My problem with the new ECW is that it is the exact same show every week. Enough with the Kelly "strip tease", give her some wrestling training and put her in a match or have her catfight or be a valet or something... Enough with Sandman caning some lame gimmick. It's already way old. Not a good way to spend 1/6th of your time for the night. Enough with the WWE vs. WWE main event. Have some new talent or an old ECW guy in the main event. The show is already amazingly predictable. In 60 minutes you can't waste 20 of them on stupid boring gimmick segments and 20 minutes on awful squash matches wrestled in WWE style. Note that I am not a fan of the old ECW at all, I've never even seen it. So that isn't a problem for me. I just want some good angles and some good matches. At least the last few shows have had decent main events, this was just awful.

From a booking perspective it does protect RVD very well. Still when the ref takes the best bump of the night BY FAR you have a problem. That match was awful.

Jesus I have to write some proposal for work after this and now I'm falling asleep. This match is the cure for insomnia. We've seen this exact match as Rey vs Show but that was 5 times better. Ok now that was interesting...ha ha...this match just got at least slightly redeemed.

Wow this match is awful. I think these big slow guy vs. minnow matches can be good if it's mostly the small guy being active and running circles around the slow guy. Having the slow guy control the match just makes it two boring slow dudes.

One guy here said it was a better promo than anyone in WWE has given in ages. No, it wasn't. It was short and totally generic and boring. I'm not saying that's CM Punk's fault. It was just a crappy promo.

It sucked ass. Calling it a "promo" is very generous. It was "I'm C...M...Punk!" That was it. Color me impressed.

I like Khali as well. He is good for what he is. He's not headed for the WWE hall of fame but I like his character. He's been booked properly, a force of nature without having to do any real wrestling. In a year he'll be forgotten. He has a certain comic-book nature to him that is appealing. So here is Test... Edit: Can Test even lift his leg above his waist? His selling was awful as well. A combination of Michaels over-acting and no-selling.

Whether or not this is good business sense it's punishment for RVD. Which could be good long-term business sense, if not short term. Vince established that he means business with the drug policy. I have no sympathy for RVD. Sounds like an awful RAW - also known as any episode of RAW in the past 18 months.

Yes. The problem is I am a grump, I don't like to wake up in the morning and I take the bus to work. At work I drink often but only maybe 1/2 a shot of Whiskey in my coffee. Outside of work I do drink but not often, maybe once every week or two. So no, I don't have a drinking problem. Edit: I manage people and have a "real" job. Leena about this woman, it sounds like the drinking is not the issue. It happened once? What you should be concerned about is this woman sabotaging you and denigrating your job performance. I would take the high road here, rather than tattle schedule a meeting with your boss and explain that some people seem to be talking shit about you behind your back, and you want to emphasize that you are doing a good job. You don't even have to name names. Just tell your boss you think you are doing a good job and if your boss thinks you aren't can they please let you know as well as what you can do to do better. Most bosses are pretty decent in that they know everyone has some bias. Just because this woman is talking shit about you doesn't mean anyone is listening, and the people she is talking to may be rolling their eyes. You don't want to make it look like some petty squabble or some tit-for-tat, she said she said thing. Just explain that you are concerned because you feel certain people are trying to make you look bad. Don't turn it into a fight of trying to make each other look bad, you'll both lose. I manage a team of people (when I'm not rip-roaring drunk) so I do have some idea of what I am talking about. Edit: We had a person who complained about basically everyone and every thing to our mutual boss, and in the end it just made our boss dislike him because he was such a pain in the ass.

Chuck is great at avoiding the takedown and getting back up, which is all the ground game you really need.
