If Flair tags with Cena, that saves his ass from getting booed out of the building. Is anybody forgetting how over Sabu & RVD will be Monday night? They won't get booed.
-
Cena needs to look at tapes from 2003-2004 and that'll help him figure out how to get his character back on track.

Off-topic: how do I get one of those spiffy O&A bars in your sig? More O&A = more gooder

and lol @ J.R. when Cena got RVD in the STFU J.R.: VAN DAM'LL TAP!!! VAN DAM GON' TAP!!!

I definitely agree. Any problems that Raw had tonight were completely redeemed in the main event. That was the hottest television main event I can remember in a long, long, time. This is the kind of thing they need if they want to get ratings, revenues, and buyrates back up. It was a swerve ending to both marks and smarks and it made sense. To me, RAW has been on point for 2 weeks: last week made sense (great go-home show), and this week's ending pleased both marks and smarks alike (like iggy said)

Yeah, I'm 18, and the "DX Split" in 98, and the "I didn't sleep with her, I was UP...ALL...NIGHT!!!" line from Shawn is 100x more entertaining than this crap (no pun intended). But it's as good as it's gonna get nowadays, so we deal with it.

Nobody. And I haven't had a real strong complaint about him since he got back from his much-needed hiatus in October. I remember when he cut a backstage promo on Batista, they had to cut off the crowd because they were chanting "BORRRRRINGGG," but he's finally gotten back to being consistently entertaining for the first time in over five years.

Nah, it's SNME. July 15th in Dallas, Triple Threat Match is there (and likely the double pin finish).
-
Triple Threat Match between RVD/Cena/Edge set for SNME. Hopefully the double pin will happen there, so we can FINALLY get this synergy bullshit over with.

Y2J putting Road Dogg through the table with a double powerbomb was a good start...but it was shaky until he hit his stride as a face in 2000...speaking of Jericho being a face in 2000: Jericho Winning The WWF Title On RAW, Then Immediately Giving It Back To HHH

Even though I knew he was coming, and I knew the Countdown to the Millenium thing was a buildup for him, and I knew the countdown was ending that night, it still ranks in my top-five mark out moments ever. From how his name "Jericho" flipped up on the screen and the crowd erupted and proceeded to have a classic verbal sparring with Rock---I get mark chills thinking about it.

Snap Into A Slim Jim >>> all
-
Mick Foley vs. Terry Funk street fight (it was cool to relive that on the Foley DVD) Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle Steel Cage match (the one with the missed moonsault...the Coliseum cringed in unison)

Fuzzyvision...damn I miss that. I remember we got Wrestlemania 2000 All Day for free , and I thought we were gonna get it for free, but Michael Cole said something like we're gonna break to fix some technical difficulties, and BAM it was gone in less than 15 minutes.

I was 11 at that time, and I SERIOUSLY thought the streak was going to be over at Halloween Havoc. Actually, I was kinda disappointed that it didn't happen, because WCW started to stink around this time, with the whole Warrior bullshit. When I found out Nash did it the next day, I was kinda mad. (See how I analyzed that, so un-smarkish right? It seemed so simple back then.)

OK, so did everyone on this board just no-sell CM Punk being announced for the 6/24 ECW Arena show?
-
Yep. Extremely Castrated Wrestling.

not before we find out what GTV was all about

WWE to return to Madison Square Garden
BigDawgCarl replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
I would NOT put it past him lol... ...Seriously, we're going to be treated to a five-minute patriotic montage voiced by Vince, and then the show will go on. I wouldn't expect Vince to disrespect anybody or anything, as that would be "bad for business." -
Not throughout the whole Attitude era...the Rock/HHH IC title ladder match stole the show at SS 98...I think Benoit, Angle, & Jericho had nice IC title runs throughout 2000 too...I think everybody has swept Chyna's win under the rug by now...
-
Hey, he never lied to us. He never bounced our checks. Seriously, Vince doesn't want a failure on his hands and I think he knows Heyman knows more than Gewirtz and Daddy's Little Girl when it comes to booking ECW (and booking overall). We just have to let this all play out.
-
I can understand why John Cena's gonna be on the first show, as bad as that sounds. They're trying to pop the biggest rating they can for the debut, mainly to appease Sci-Fi suits. I think as the weeks go on (and the brands finally stop crossing paths after Vengeance hopefully), we'll finally get a good look at the new ECW. If Heyman lives up to what he was saying in that damn good interview, we should be alright.
-
all of them would've missed the MOTN if they did that
-
If this is the equivalent of that, then here comes the slow, 12-week death of ECW.

those ropes are bouncing a little too much
