Too small of a sample size so far, but the Cubs are 4-1 outside the Central (Dodgers, Marlins) and 8-6 within (Reds, Cardinals). I don't know the others offhand, but I assume it's more of the same. I do expect the NL Central teams, Pirates excluded, to win a majority of their interdivision games. The NL Central and AL East will probably be the most compelling races this year. I bet Mik is having a bit of a laugh at Burnett's expense. He earned it, though: A.J. was a real prick at the end. I also expect the "winner" of the NL West to finish with a worse record then the 3rd place finisher in both NL C/E, maybe even 4th place in the central.

It's been awhile since I checked in here, so here's a quasi update on my world beyond TSM. Classes end next wednesday. Actually, I only have one exam to take as the rest of my final scores depend on projects or portfolios. This would conclude my first year of college and I can conclude that it was a disapointing expeirence. I did fairly well academically, which was never a concern despite my alarming laziness. I spent the first semester at the main campus @ Oxford living in a house with a couple other guys. I enjoyed that although it really wasn't the Animal House thrill I expected. Unlike alot of the kids who go to Miami, I don't have my parents throwing me $ to attend this school. It was my decision, as I am paying for school on my own, that I would move back in my house and just commute to Miami's regional school in Middletown. This is a 20 minute commute and probably for the best because academically, everything is the same. I will continue at Miami. I had considered transfering to Kent St where my ex/best friend goes but I decided that I couldn't just follow her. I have to make my own mark. So I'll stay at Miami. I'm attending all three branches, Oxford/Middletown/Hamilton. I got a promotion at work For the last two years, I have worked at a plant. We design and build customized conveyor systems for all sorts of companies like Kellog's, General Electric, Honeywell Security, 3M Corp and DHL. My job was on the parts assembly crew, and on occasions I would do field jobs. Where I would go to the company's base and build the conveyor on-site or just repair them. The security that is involved at places like General Electric, is fucking CRAZY. I probably had to go through 100 checkpoints, had my work-truck throughly scanned and they had posted guards to watch me while I worked. I had to get clearence just to take my drill out of my box. It would normally take 2 hours to do those jobs but GE made it take 10 hours. Just fucking nuts. Anyways, after two years of doing that...I was promoted to foreman of the assembly crew. What this means is essentially nothing except a title and a 5% raise, which I like. The idea is that most of my crew that I worked with is being moved around...supposedly getting higher jobs. Here is the bullshit of it. I am 20 years old, the youngest and least tenured person on that crew and I got the foreman job (the former foreman left the job for personal reasons). I know why I got the job and so does everyone else. The president of the plant, is my father's best friend. That's how I got the job to begin with. Luckily, I worked my ass off enough to convince those other guys that I earn my pay. Now, this advancement isn't going to help my image. Since my crew is being split apart, I have to assemble a new crew in the next 2 weeks. Summer time, is our busy time. I'm supposed to handle big orders from fucking Kellog's and Honeywell all summer (which means dealing with them as well) and I also gotta train 4-5 new guys. This weekend, could be AWESOME or really, really bad This weekend, I have plans (gasp!). On friday night, I make the short trek to Dayton to attend the RING OF HONOR show. I'll cover my expecations for this show in a later blog. Saturday morning, after a short stint at work I will drive to Athens, OH. Which is where Ohio University is located. Readers of this blog (all 2 of you) might remember my friend Natalie, the former egomanaical virgin turned mother to be. I decided to give her a visit, since she has been going nuts (understandably so) and I figure she needs an old friend to rest her mind. I'm taking her out of Athens for the day and we're going to drive to Cleveland, and attend that night's ROH show. It is after that show, we will head to Kent St to visit my ex (and she's willing to put up with Nat for the night, despite their mutual dislike). So that'll be fun or exciting at least. It's possible I regret this. Considering who i'm spending the majority of the weekend with. The ROH shows, will be good at least.

The judges are really burying her because they are aware Kath didn't bring it enough.
-
Kath, needs Paris to tank to survive now. I'm not sure that boobs are enough now.
-
I really hope Paris blows it, because I don't think Elliot is gone yet. I think he is steamrolling momentum now.
-
Kath, brings out the weapons.

Danielson, has been booked to be dangerous from all ranges as he can make you submit in a number of ways, piss you off just enough to make a mistake and he'll get a flash pin or he'll just flat out beat your ass senseless. Danielson, was trying to show the CZW fans in the crowd what a "real wrestler" does so he challenges Delirious because all the other winners in the first half of the show, he already beaten lately and he acted as if Delirious wasn't a real challenge. Delirious, stuns Dragon by being capable of wrestling with him. Danielson, has to resort to tearing at Delirious's mask and the gash in Delirious's hand and after failing to win via his trademark submissions... Danielson, simply beat the shit out of Delirious and the match was stopped. It's not that hard to follow that story, Delirious was a better wrestler then Danielson expected, so Danielson has to go to his vicious nature to beat the guy. Playing that off with the fact he mocked CZW for not being pure wrestling, he ends up having to bloody up Delirious and punching him out.

Ugh, piss on that song selection from Kath and Chris, continues to select the same stuff.

UNHOLY Wedding! Actually, the story I had was that it was a "Pre-emptive" wedding. The Undertaker had a vision, seeing the McMahon/Helmsley era in the future, and tried to prevent it. Either by gaining ownership of WWF, or by being married to Steph so she couldn't get married to Triple H. However, the ignorance of everyone prevented them from realizing this, and in disgust after a while Taker took some time off. Of course his wedding to Stephanie indirectly caused the McMahon-Helmsley Era to begin so it ended up being his fault anyway. I am STILL convinced that it was the Bulldog's fault. Triple H took advantage of Stephanie while she had the amensia which was caused by Bulldog throwing the metal garbage can and it hit Stephanie. Undertaker knew this would happen, so he tried to stop it by forcing Stephanie to marry him but that dastardly Austin screwed that up. 'Taker tried to warn Vince around september of that year just before Bulldog injured Stephanie. Vince, wouldn't listen to 'Taker so 'Taker decided to say "fuck it, it's on you now" and left. Stephanie gets hurt, Triple H sees his chance to talk Stephanie into believing that they had something together and they designed the Test marriage hoax and the turn on Daddy to take over for good. Undertaker, who disappeared to take over a rebel bike gang heard through the grapevine that Triple H was controling all of WWF and had to come back. That was my whole "thought process" during that storyline. You and I should write for WWE. Also, the reason The Undertaker no longer controls the power of seeing the future was because he sold his powers to be human again to be with Sara. Sara, controlled the fate of UT's powers but when she realized her husband couldn't survive without the powers...she sacrificed herself so UT could regain his power. 'Taker kept the tattoo as a scar of what he once had and a reminder that he can never go back. The reason 'Taker didn't recover 100% is because some of his powers were lost in the transfer...and it was morphed into the off-spring of Human Taker (named Mark Calloway) and Sara. Since Mark Jr, is just like his Uncle Kane, Mark Jr has to be kept confined in a basement in Texas.

Lita, needs to actually sleep with someone else just to play off the slut gimmick and for Edge to shrug it off as if to say "that just means the night off for me".

You assume they even have plans. GB is going with the old school dart board method. It probably would have better success then them using their own heads.

I wouldn't think of Albright as a cruiser. Although, if it meant Knoble/Albright matches, I'd totally approve. I think Albright is better suited for the mid card as Benoit's protege, then being a CW worker.

Not that I expect him to, but what are the rulings for Brock to do Indy bookings?

Nirvana-Smells like teen spirit always lands @ #3 for pretty much any list. This is pretty weird, putting The Smiths @ #2 isn't very VH1 like.

Like I said eariler, the real enemy was WCW. It wasn't WWE. They weren't going "against" WWE. They were driving a spike right through the industry, they werent targeting a specific promotion but Heyman's hatred ran deep for WCW. I mean, remember...Austin and Foley's act revolved around WCW.

Laz pretty much nailed it on the head. If you like them PK, then go spend $50 bucks to see them on the main stage at Ozzfest. I saw them a couple years back in between Ozzfest shows in a smaller club and they were fantastic. They seem to be a band more suited for the smaller clubs, rather then the big arena/theatres (as most rock bands are). Here's some pictures of Scabbia, since that's pretty much the best thing bout LC

I saw Adam Dunn crush a ball at GAB that easily cleared 500 ft and was said to land just feet from the banks of the Ohio River.

Hunters, are strange creatures. (In a less respectable blog, I would have made the easy Triple H slam). I used to date this girl and her father was a huge avid hunter. Think of every stereotype you can about hunters and multiply it by 10, that was him. He dragged me to this deer hunt, where him and about 8 of his work buddies went to some woods in upper Indiana. I should have checked to see if it was even legal to hunt there but 8 semi-drunk hunters with guns? I wasn't going to insist. We sat there and no one said a word for about 4 hours and nothing ever appeared. Not even a fucking rabbit or anything. Another four hours passed and still not a word or any action. Next thing I knew, they were getting up and started to load up the vans and my gf's father motioned for me to drive (since I hadn't drank). We left. 8 hours of "hunting", 4 hours in the car...one of the strangest days of my life. I broke up with that girl a few weeks later (not because of that) It's a shame too, because I believe that father was the only one who ever really "liked" me of all the girlfriends I've had.

You say that like it's a bad thing. It is. Why would I want to watch Austin Aries in TNA when I can watch him have better matches and get better storylines or feuds in ROH? Ditto Shelley. Ditto Strong. Ditto Homicide. Argueably, ditto Joe. If they're bringing in ROH guys, they need to book them favourably to their booking in ROH. Else, you might as well buy a ROH DVD. They've got a limited enough amount of TV time as it is, without padding the roster with guys just because they're popular elsewhere and doing little with them, when they could use the T.V time to push wrestlers ROH don't have like Killings, Sabin, Skipper and (now) Lethal. Otherwise, you might as well just watch ROH. I have no problem with the ROH workers getting more money and more exposure. The purpose for TNA is to use the best talent available in the world, alot of those guys happen to work for ROH as well.

I can't see Cornette wanting to come back to OVW, after how they treated him and he did say he is happier just being an on air talent for ROH. He was completely burnt out and I'd rather he stay away from OVW and try to either start again or stop. I'd like to see new blood running a promotion. I love the "ECW can't be run by Vince McMahon" or "It has to be owned by Heyman" statements, because ECW was funded by McMahon and Heyman didn't own ECW for awhile. People neglect the fact that Heyman and ECW were against WCW more then they were WWE. WCW, was Heyman's target. Heyman hated WCW with a passion, why you think he went to McMahon for assistance.

Kentucky has laws against blood. It wouldn't be very ECW if it wasn't with color.

They did at the start of the show, where it made clear that NY isn't in favor of Tony's decision to not do anything with Vito. I agree that Artie, isn't the most exciting character to based a show around. I guess the point was to establish Benny more by showing him making a move against Tony's only friend he really has outside the group. I also can't stand the Christopher goes Hollywood episodes as well, so putting both of them in the same didn't work for me. I'm starting to grow weary of the lack of Junior this year. Tonight's episode lacked Paulie and Vito and that's never good. One scene for Paulie? Fuck that. I assume that we will get a episode where Tony has to try to remain faithful, since I think they hinted towards it during the bar scene with Tony and Artie.

I thought you meant the ass itself, because Clemens had a fat ass. Fatness, goes beyond the stomach region.
-
Even if it was true, it still wouldn't be as good as Runelys Hernandez hitting the DL due to a "lack of stamina." I think I heard that there was an article written somewhere....perhaps the Houston Chronicle that talked about how fatasses make better pitchers....something about Body Mass Index. They specifically mentioned Hernandez. I heard about it in passing from the announcers on the Astros game today. I shall see if I can procure it. I think Clemens proved this.
