  1. They did acknowledge Stevie's big margin of victory during the baby daddy deal. As always, McMahon scoffed at the notion of Stevie Richards. Which has been a nice running gag over the years.
  2. He is a internet favorite and Stevie Richards wasn't a choice.
  3. If you go to the main page, you should see something on the right that reads "CHAMPIONSHIP POLL".
  4. McMahon will make an announcment about the future of the title on ECW tonight, according to WWE.COM
  5. The show will now start with McMahon making an announcment about the WWE Title.
  6. fixed I expect Morrison to return at the PPV after Big Daddy murders Punk and Morrison wants to take advantage of a injured Punk at next week's taping.
  7. If Big Daddy doesn't knock out both of the challengers and issues a match for Punk at No Mercy, I'll be stunned.
  8. NOT VAL VENIS~~~~! Perhaps they'll put the belt on Edge... Edge is still out until December and I think given the uncertainty of Raw right now, the planned Edge-UT program for WM is pretty important. Of course, Undertaker will blow his knee out at the Rumble leaving SD with Edge agianst Mysterio and then each will injure each other in a pose-down the week before WM.
  9. I am curious if Kennedy-Hunter is still the plan for WM. Given Kennedy's recent actions and the cold responses, I can't see them sticking with that plan. Orton-HHH has been planned since XX but it has obviously never come to fruition. Right now, in the current climate of Raw, that just might be the best and perhaps only real option. Orton taking the title on Sunday and carrying it to WM for HHH to reclaim seems like the WWE thing to do.
  10. The WWE poll asking the fans who they want to see win the title is being led right now by Val Venis...
  11. My problem with that move is that it wasn't even neccesary. A flying cross body is just as effective as a SSP. Don't need to be fancy for the sake of being fancy.
  12. How many things have Kennedy screwed up? He was in line to get a big push last year and got hurt before WM. He gets MITB and gets hurt and throws both brands out of whack. He gets in line for mega push with McMahon and blows that. The night he returns, he causes the injury of the top star, ends a 13 month reign and kills a long running angle before it could be blown off.
  13. When does Lashley expect to return?
  14. The show still seems pretty forced.
  15. As long as we don't see Arizona-New York again. Cubs over D-Backs Phillies over Rockies Sox over Angels Indians over Yankees
  16. how does death figure into the equation? Eddie's death changed the landscape. Without that, we wouldn't be seeing these suspensions.
  17. It was inspired by Camden Yards. Its supposed to be nostalgic, not trendy. And I find it funny as in "HAHA it sucks worse to be a Cleveland Indians fan than it does an Orioles fan" kinda way. Nostalgic? In Denver?
  18. What is funny about Colorado winning a title? At least in 1997, it was a hired team winning the title (it made it no less dishearting to see but at least that team had a design and followed it). This team is just Matt Holliday and some other guys. Nothing remotely appealing about them, their supposed fanbase or trendy ballpark. With Chicago, NY, LA, Philadelphia, Boston all involved, ratings should be decent but that is a irrelevant matter.
  19. That's what I said in the Raw thread. It sounds more like a response to the first message. That would be quite a interesting route to go, having two different sets of messages attacking each other. What disapoints me about this is that it's only getting two weeks of build if it does indeed lead to Jericho returning at No Mercy. I don't think it needs 3 months but another couple of weeks would probably draw more attention and suspense.
  20. If you are going to jump aboard a wagon for a team on the reasoning that they haven't won a title in a long fucking time, don't do it for the team where fans (not all of them but a good amount) blame goats, black cats and spectators for the failure of their team. Put your weight behind Cleveland. That city could use a championship.
  21. Does it really freshen anything up when it'll go right back to Orton and then HHH?
  22. Savior self can also be seen at the bottom of WWE.COM next to save us 222.
  23. They acknowledge it because it easily plays into the build up for the match and gives Cena an excuse to lose (if he does). I would actually like a champion to remain with the title despite the injury gimmick but it doesn't really work with a face. It took a death, 20 suspensions and a pair of crucial injuries but Orton will finally get his title reign.
  24. ARMAGEDDON (not the ppv) has hit WWE.
  25. That was some kind of finish right there. Hope Holiday is fine.
