He's spent half of his career as a heel. It's not as if WWE is afraid to turn him but in this case, he has to be the avenging destroyer of all those who worked to abolish him. Telling a very hated heel he will take her to Hell isn't a call for a heel turn. 'Taker has been telling people to RIP for his entire career.
I'm currently building an entire year worth of my fictional promotion, starting with the night after the "WM/Starrcade" type show to the next edition. I'll have weekly TV and 3 seperate "PPV" type shows building to my blowoff show.
Keep in mind that they probably intended for Jericho and Shawn to extend beyond this PPV, those plans could change with Shawn's injury. The other factor might not come into play until later down the road but the seeds were planted.
Now they can write him off once again at Unforgiven. Just let Jericho destory him and Shawn leaves an injured man. That's a bad lost for Raw right now since it was such a hot program.
ZZ Top is the best they can get for the 25th anniversary WM?
Well, it's in Houston. They'll probably have multiple theme songs like they did this year and in previous years.
They don't keep track of records but they will notice if someone has a tendency to lose often and would be less inclined to get behind them unless it's someone they have already built a connection with (which is why Cena can lose so many PPV events and only the cabbageboy's of the world take notice while the fans aren't bothered) or it's the point of that particular person.
Dreamer jobbed all the time but he was always over. That's where good booking can save a guy regardless of the non-existant win-loss record.
I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!
Punk was always brutal to Eddie whenever he called his matches.
Is Eddie still around? I haven't seen him since the Embassy Days.
