The only trouble is that Edge and Nitro next to each other would make it look like the WWE had just opened a cloning factory, and any chance Nitro had of getting over without the label of Edge II would be blown. Sleazy, yes, but that would go along with Edge and Lita's "live sex" in the ring. Edge and Nitro being similar, in a heel group with the women included, would be a positive to me, same as I enjoy London and Kendrick's tag team. Too bad that Maria doesn't fit with Lita and Melina or they could put Punk in that stable as well.

CM Punk, isn't "deaf". He had severe hearing lost last fall during a match. It's pretty common in wrestling, alot of wrestlers have moderate to severe hearing lost, including Steve Corino who has a pretty well known case of it (There has always been a running gag that Punk's career mirrors Corino's and the hearing lost only pushed that). There were rumors that Punk was going to get a deaf gimmick but that never actually was confirmed or anything.

As much as I would love to see that happen, I know that it isn't going to happen. Titanic was released in December of 1997 and for the next 4 months it had zero competition. Titanic was the number one movie each week/weekend for like 4 months and constantly did over 10 million in boxoffice each weekend. A film today is going to have some serious legs to keep going that strong. Titanic, was the perfect movie to pull that off. It was the right time, had the oscar buzz, it connected with young girls in a huge way drawing repeat viewers and it was a good date movie as well. It'd be almost impossible to pull it off today I wonder how well Titanic would have done if it came out during the summer of 1997 like it was supposed to. Here were the big BO hits of 1997 Summer season Jurassic Park: The Lost World, Men in Black, Batman and Robin and Con-Air. I think it was a very wise move they did with Titanic. Titanic never felt like a summer blockbuster type movie for me, it sounds odd but it felt right watching Titanic in the winter.

Who would have thought that 20 years ago when Johnny Depp would become a huge Hollywood star when he first started on a little tv show called 21 Jump Street on the new Fox Network. I guess we can expect Benjamin McKenzie to be in the #1 highest grossing opening film in 2026?

POTC had a better taste for the fans, Superman was yanked around forever and casual movie goers just didn't find Superman all that interesting because of that and it just plain looked boring and the reviews have cemented those sentiments. People do this at work. I have threatened to fire if this continues. It also happened at school back when I was at the main campus. They assigned me to park in the frosh lot which was about 1/2 mile from my dorm, but we always had non-id'd students parking in the lot and the campus security never did shit about it. There were times I had to park in the street by our dorms which is a no-no during school hours.

Well, I guess this answers the whole "Can Punk get over in ECW?" issue. It's not like Wisconsin was a ROH market (only one show was ever held in Wisconsin). Yes, Punk was a midwest staple before ROH made him a major indy star but it's just showing that Punk is more then capable of getting over. Why do the house shows look somewhat enjoyable while the TV show is complete crap thanks to the "needed" Raw cross-over stuff.

Jack Evans has really elevated his game from being the spot-tastic performer he was when he broke out on the scene in 2003 and being known as a insane suicidal bump machine. He has shown a remarkable leap in skills thanks tremendously from working alongside talents like Aries and Strong. His work has improved thanks to his excursions to Japan where he has become a top star for Dragon Gate. Look at his work in 2003 and anything from his recent stuff and you will note that he has improved on being an overall performer and wrestler. His strength remains to be his uncanny ability to take bumps and his acrobatic displays but he is learning and developing into a more rounded worker by the day.
