Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
Boxer replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah, but if he was still around, yikes. I'd just like to see his next backstage segment with Vickie. Benoit: You tramp, what the hell is wrong with you. Etc........... -
So what exactly happened to Vince Carter? Gets an extension and fails to earn it thus far. What happened to 25/5/5 ?
-
Oh yeah, how could I miss him. Would Orton actually be considered one? One can say yes, due to evolution, but one can say no, one month reign, ended by HHH himself.
-
Looking at the Raw Rating of 3.5 maybe if they actually said Jericho would appear, would that instantly give them a 4.0 rating?
-
I personally didn't really care for Survivor Series and just wanted this Raw to arrive. This better not be a disappointment. Edit: I'd really mark out if it was Sid or D'lo that was introduced as the saveus.222. Jericho comes out first and claims he isn't saveus only for us to find out the true identity.

Since we all know who ARE the threats, over the years, who has HHH actually backed? We got Benoit and Hardy thus far. Who else are we missing here.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released

I posted this in the Smackdown thread and then I realized it fit better here. How do you guys think Benoit would react to Edge and Vickie making out together? If he couldn't handle the Eddie storylines then, I guess this would put him over the edge? -
So now that the Cougar Guerrero storyline is out there, I betcha the WWE is counting down the days until the oldest Guerrero daughter is 18 and BAM, there's your new Lita. Edge, such and ultimate heel. You know, now that I think about it, what would BENOIT think of this? Gee, he'd probably go nuts if he was still around. I hope Chavo is ok with this storyline.

Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels (WWE Championship Match) Orton wins via some cheap finish. They'll be yet another match for these two. Either that or......... Orton makes HBK tap in the sharpshooter. World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell Match) Edge actually comes through with the chainsaw. No decision. Batista retains. Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match: Umaga/Kennedy/Finley/Big Daddy V/MVP vs. HHH/Matt/Jeff/Kane/Rey Triple H is the sole survivor. Triple Threat Match for the ECW Championship: CM Punk vs. Miz vs. Morrison CM Punk retains. Cade & Murdoch vs. Rhodes & Holly (World Tag Team Championship) NEW WWE Tag Team Champions. The only title change of the night. Hornswoggle vs. The Great Khali Hornswoggle wins. The burial of Khali is in full affect. 10 Divas Tag Team Match: Beth Phoenix, Jillian Hall, Melina, Victoria & Layla vs. Mickie James, Maria, Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly Beth is the sole survivor.

When Bret Hart won the title from Taker in 1997, the original plan was for him to drop it to Austin at Mania 14 right? That was, until Shawn intervened and got his way?
-
Here's how the Nasty's acted last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WStvzwVKTqY Stars in their own minds.
-
Nasty Boys? WTF?????????? What's next, there gonna re-package Edge as Edgie Gurrerro. I guess that's the closest they can get to EDDIE Gurrerro.

Over on Wrestling Classics, Meltzer has talked in-depth about this, including Hunter's burying of Jericho when Jericho first came in, which was basically down to Hunter feeling it was his time to be on top and he wasn't about to let anyone else who could rival him become any kind of threat, hence Jericho's treatment. As for Hunter feeling 'threatened' by other people when he has ho real need to be, it was ascribed to Hunter wanting to be the single top star rather than one of a group of top stars. While that seems to make little sense on the surface, because a group of top stars means the company makes more money than if it has just one top star, the reasons why a person in a position of power should feel threatened often don't make sense. So I've read some stuff on Rock and Austin both having "problems" with HHH. Did he ever try to stop Brock's mega push? We all know he derailed Angle with the Steph storyline. I guess the only guy he's never crossed was Taker right? And for good times sakes, remember HHH's 2002-03 burial list? Booker T - Gotta love the 10 second pause before pinning him after the pedigree, and the "your people" comment. What's up with that? Kane - Taking his mask and IC title and Katie Vick RVD - He never had a chance Goldberg - Beat him in the Elimination chamber in biker shorts and did nothing, awesome Jericho - So much for undisputed champion! Steiner - What a great rumble match Hurricane - so much for rock putting him over Ah, I miss those days. So my question is, how did Benoit avoid getting jobbed out and why did HHH allow him to go over at Mania? That was kinda shocking, considering how Hall and Nash felt about Benoit and Gurerreo.
-
Too bad RVD wasn't still around. I think that would make a good feud between the two for the title with a build up to Wrestlemania. As for now, I think they should bring over someone from Smackdown to challenge for the title.
-
I don't think it's that he feels threatened as much as he just doesn't like Jericho on a personal level. Eh.... I guess that makes sense. Still gotta wonder why on a personal level he does. That reminds me, didn't folks say HHH had it out for Edge a while ago? And how Edge wanted out of Raw and to Smackdown to avoid an HHH burial. Was that ever proven to be true?
-
Seriously though, anyone have a timeline of the "Heat" between HHH and Y2J? I know it was pretty bad around the time Y2J debuted, apparently put in a storyline immediately with buddies X-Pac and Chyna and then in 2000 when HHH took his heat away from making him look like a chump. I have to wonder why HHH would feel threatened? The man is a main eventer for life. Even if he pulled an Hebner he's still a McMahon. NO ONE can touch him. No Vince, not HBK, not Y2J, not Benoit.
-
Hey, at least HHH got one thing he wanted, for Y2J got CUT HIS HAIR. HHH - 1 Y2J - 0

That's a pretty creepy article in hindsight. This can pretty much sum it up: No truer words were ever spoken. -
Raw XV coming in 3 weeks. http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/raw15/ Can't believe it's been 5 years since Raw X.
-
True but I never took Angle's group seriously. So with Ric Flair back, what does he do? World Title contender? He left on bad terms, so the must've promised him something.
-
If the WWE is smart, they should RIP OFF Nitro, 1998, and Ric Flair's return next week. Have Arn, JJ, Mongo, Malkeno in the ring, and they recreate the whole return. We have Flair cussing off McMahon calling him a SON OF A BITCH! Bring it on, WWE!
-
All I hope is they push him well, and don't make him look like a jobber. He went to bat for the WWE during Benoitgate, so Jericho, I hope you get your EXTENDED title run. Also, PLEASE, do NOT give him another IC title run. 7 is enough.
-
Yeah, since HHH has the title and everything right now. Well, from everything I've read, wasn't the plan HHH vs. Orton at Mania? No transitional champ for Jericho please.
-
If the WWE gives Jericho return match at Armaggedon, then will he job already? He can't win the belt due to HHH but jobbing already would make him look weak. Should've let him destroy mid-carders like Carlito first before taking a job.
-
***1/2 foe the return. Wasn't to bad, but his 1999 debut was just too damn good.
