Stopping short of competely removing him, WWE has no longer mentioned Benoit in the title history section. His name is there, but you can no longer click on it. Also, a random search of wwe.com has produced nothing when you type in Chris Benoit. Anything Benoit related is pretty much gone.

I don't see how they could, honestly., since anyone can edit Wikipedia. Just because he turned out to be right on a freaky coincidence, well, still he didn't do anything illegal. Everything should sort itself out when this breaks in the mainstream news and this guy ends up with his own wikipedia page, complete with vandalizations and all. Poetic justice at its finest. Might even screw with him professionally for a while if this whole story pops up when a potential future employer googles his name and finds this stuff. This has become hilarious... the dude's amusing himself with the anonymity of the internet and gets caugt in a freakish coincidence. I'd like to see Sid return to ECW. Now that would be a shock, give him the ECW title and you have two things. 1. A credible champion. 2. Some more talent on that thin roster. I'm sure you guys would love to see Sid powerbomb his way from guys like Nunzio to Stevie Richards, to Cor Von and Burke, to Punk and finally Nitro to win the strap.

Maybe Cena can show a comedy side of him and claim he defended the strap on a house show versus Funaki or something. And there is a sucessful title defense within the 30 days.

So of all the people that have spoken up one way or another from Bret to all the WWE "condolences" on wwe.com to a lot of former wrestlers. But I have to admit, there is one name, and pretty much only one name I surprised to not hear anything from yet. Has anyone heard anything from Rey Mysterio?

Nah, I wouldn't think he's getting removed. What's done is done, he'll only be denied future accomplishments at this rate. Still not too sure how credible that is but that makes it day 3 of this story taking ANOTHER turn. Man, I wonder if people are gonna now connect the DUI to this. It usually does take alcohol to get a DUI. Let me rephrase. The earlier incident of DUI may make everyone think he had an alcohol problem that just built up to this boiling point. And finding the empty bottle doesn't help.

My suggestion: don't. I get what you're trying to do and it's a nice sentiment, but the WWE is trying to move forward, and dwelling on the tragedy is counteractive. The best thing you can do to honor everyone is go to the show and get into it, appreciating what the wrestlers do to entertain us and taking the time to think about what they go through personally to put on the shows they do. If you want to honor the family somehow, there's lots of ways to do it: a personal website, prayer (if you're religious), a donation in their name (possibly to someone working on a cure for Fragile X syndrome). But right now, it seems like just moving on with business as usual would be best for the workers as well as the fans. Just my $.02. Who knows what other fans around you might think. I think for your own safety, it may not be wise.

If that is what comes out I'll be disappointed. I was looking forward to new DVD's featuring maybe some stuff from the 80's and 90's. If it is made up of the Flair, Horsemen, Dusty, and Managers then what was the point. If it featured Goldberg, Steiner, and practically all the guys from the 80's it would be a good box set.

I think they should try to elevate more guys on the card. Maybe it's the death grip the top stars have thanks to the writers. If they created more main eventers the card would have more depth so when a few main eventers need a break there will be a few ready to take their place. Then again, if it comes down to the payday, most guys wouldn't want to be moved down the card for that.

We've gone through the motions of this newsbit a few times already. The general consensus is that it's probably just a rumor that it was the Crossface he used.. but not much of a stretch that he used an actual (rear naked) chokehold. I wouldn't have posted that it was only the "Fox News" part that caught my attention. Then again, it's Fox News.

So looking at the ECW roster who are Nitro's credible challengers? Obviously we have Punk. Burke and Cor Von don't work because they are both heels. Balls? Nah. Dreamer? Maybe. Mike Knox, Viscera, Setvie Richards, Nunzio? Damn, ECW needs someone credible besides Punk to challenge for that strap. Sandman would've been nice only because he could've caned the holy hell out of Nitro.
