  1. All I can really hope for is that the other 4 guys from the Smackdown title match, have spin off feuds. So we can get like an MVP vs. Kendrick, Kendrick vs. Shelton or even Hardy vs. Kendrick feud. Just something fresh and different.
  2. If Razor Ramon were to have become WWF Champion, man, I would've loved to see a Stone Cold vs. Razor Ramon feud. It would've been so much better than the 2002 watered down and injuried variations that occured then. These two would probably have some good brawls/no holds barred matches. Heck, even Diesel vs. Stone Cold, Razor Ramon vs. Mankind, and even Diesel or Razor vs. Ahmed Johnson. Just some matches I though would've occured during that time that these guys crossed pathes in the WWF.
  3. So the year is 1996, say Razor and Diesel re-upped their contracts instead of going "down South" what happens to both companies? WWF: So Diesel and Razor stay, their characters were still over, although eventually they could've gone down the stale road. Would all they would do is continue to fight with their clique buddies and here and there with Bret? Where would this leave guys like Ahmed Johnson, Vader, even Stone Cold? Would Stone Cold have lost to politics again in the WWF like he did to Hogan in WCW? And then there's Rocky and Mankind, do they not even become big stars because of the Clique? Would this also mean Triple H never breaks out because, well, when Hall and Nash were around, Hunter was nothing. Let's be honest, McMahon was forced to push new stars because he lost two of his biggest stars when Hall and Nash defected. If Hall and Nash never defected, I'd say WWF 1996 is indeed a pretty good roster with the likes of Bret and Owen, Bulldog, Hall, Nash, Ahmed, Vader, Marc Mero, Stone Cold, Rocky, Mankind, Sid, Ultimate Warrior, Goldust, Triple H. If all those guys alternated battling each other, I think we would have some pretty decent cards. WCW: Hogan continues to dominate as a face, holds the WCW title forever. Maybe a long run program with Sting or Luger? WCW was sort of stale at this point. Without the nWo would guys like Malenko, Gurrerro and Benoit be bigger stars faster? It's just amazing that these two guys, Hall and Nash had a big effect on both companies whetever you agree with it or not. These two guys open doors for some while closing too many doors for others. So what does everyone else think? Both companies would've continued to have Monday Night Wars in the 2.0's and 3.0's in the ratings and be stale or was it natural for the companies to heat up, even if the nWo never existed?
  4. I am reading a live report of the Smackdown spoliers and ugh. If you thought the Raw title scene was confusing....
  5. Here's a quick question for all you DVD buyers/collectors. What are the top 5 rarest WWF/WWE dvd's out there? I know Judgment Day 2002 is a tough one, what about the rest? Also, are all the WWF released DVD's in high demand because of the no blurring/editing and that they were pulled off the shelves once the named changed.
  6. Here's a simple topic for you. What are stories you heard or know of, that relate to McMahon truly liking that superstar? Here's a few I've either read or heard about and some assumptions. Shawn Michaels: They've had a long term relationship, and McMahon had enough thick skin to put up with him through the 90s. Triple H: Duh. Undertaker: Probably because he stayed loyal all those years. Bret Hart: They had a father/son like relationship before Montreal. Chris Benoit: I heard he was really high on him that he signed all four radicals just to get at Benoit. He wanted to push him from the start. Yokozuna: I'm pretty sure he really like Yoko, I mean he didn't even fire him until 1998, almost two years after he had gotten too big and was sent to get in better shape. Ric Flair: Look no further than that big send off in April plus during the 80s he coveted Flair as a performer. He was booked extremely strong in his first run in 92-93 I'd like to mention Austin, Rock, even Foley, but honestly I don't remember McMahon personally liking them. They made him money, but a personal relationship, I don't ever recall. We all know the heat Austin and McMahon has back in 2002 and currently does with Foley today.
  7. Then I guess Joey Styles isn't doing his job, from wwe.com: http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/results/7442496/
  8. I thought that's what WCW promised him when they signed him in 1994. I guess I was wrong.
  9. I know that Hogan had in his contracts that they promised him a title run with whatever company he signed with. Who else had iron clad guarantees of a title run either when they jumped ship to another company or re-signed with the same company? If my memory serves me right, didn't Goldberg's WWE contract guarentee a world title run? Also, if contracts did guarantee a title run, were any promises broken?
  10. Nice to see one of your politicians tell someone to "SHUT UP".
  11. Can someone explain to me how Bossman turned heel after leaving the WWF? What was the explaination in WCW?
  12. Well, IF he comes back then, what can he do? Raw: Well, there's a natural feud with HBK. He can go after Punk for the title, or Cena and Batista. Can also serve as Adamle's hencemen/bodyguard. Smackdown: Go up against HHH for the WWE Title. An 11 year old feud revived with the Undertaker. Can battle Edge or great Khali as a face. And then there's the Big Show vs. Sid. I don't think those two were ever in the same company at the same time. ECW: Yeah, right.
  13. New Sid news from rajah.com: Anyone else starting to believe more and more?
  14. Not good on Bobby Heenan's status from rajah.com:
  15. Edit: wrong thread
  16. I just saw Madden 09 for Playstation 2. I thought they stopped making games for the PS2? If not, will they ever? I mean, that's what the PS3 is for, no?
  17. Man, adding a Sid vs. Pillman to go with HBK/Taker feud, Austin/Owen and Bret/Patroit would've made GREAT TV at the time.
  18. Him? http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/searc...lly-in-ac_sport
  19. Since no one knows about the Lashley question, I'll pass on that one. Raw Inventational Battle Royal. Winner was to face the Champion after Summerslam. Ahmed won. Was it suppose to be Ahmed vs. Vader or Ahmed vs. Shawn Michaels? If not, what was the point of it then.
  20. After watching a lot of old Sid stuff, I hope he looks the same, same music, and same ass kicking guy. His first appearence at the Garden will probably be great.
  21. I though he blamed it on all of us wanting Rocky and we thought Austin was no good anymore? Remember the "what's wrong with Stone Cold?" line?
  22. Why did he turn heel again? I wasn't watching WCW in 1999 and I know many guys made stupid heel turns. What was Sting's excuse?
  23. Times like this I wish CM Punk would feud with Austin or Sandman. As a heel, I'm sure Punk would tear them a new one on the mic. And on the fans too.
  24. From Bret Hart to Shawn Michaels to Stone Cold to The Rock, etc.............. Pretty much every guy that turned heel blamed the fans with the old line I tried to please them, they turned on me, etc........... Has their been anyone that turn heel and it wasn't our fault?
  25. Sabotage eh? Well, first there's Bret Hart's run in 1995 after dropping the title to Backlund. The clique suceeded in demoting him to the mid card for one good year between Survivor Series 94 till 95. Dean Douglas. Didn't get along with Michaels hence his push and IC title run was destroyed within minutes. Ahmed Johnson. Shawn told him to stop doing the high impact moves and stuff that was getting him over. Vader. Because Shawn wouldn't drop the WWF title to him. Owen Hart. HBK didn't want to work with him post-survivor series so instead of becoming a breakout star, he became a mid-carder. Shawn turning heel in 97 sabatoged Hitman's heel run as champion. Shawn became the #1 heel and main evented ppv's while Bret got stuck mid-carding the belt to patroit and running in meaning less tag matches with Bulldog. That's all I got for now. By the way, notice a trend in the sabataging?
