That would be awesome. The first ever WWE retcon.
-
Its when I read things like this that I realise how glad I am not to own shares in WWE.
-
More likely than not. I always liked both Trish and Stacy, I hope they do better outside of wrestling than other women like Chyna and Sable.
-
I read some interview lately where Trish said that she was proud of her development into a wrestler and wanted to be remembered as the greatest women's champion ever. So much for that I guess. Can't really blame her for wanting to get paid more and not having to beat up her body every night though, especially if she's getting married and wants to have kids some day.
-
I would go for the second one if it were in black.

Can't argue with that. I can. Luger was pretty good in 89 when he was hungrier. He's had some really good to great stuff against the likes of Flair, Tommy Rick, Brian Pillman, Sting and Ricky Steamboat. Luger has never been, and never will be good. If you liked watching the coked-up, roided-up slug then good for you.

I wonder if Booker will do that and call himself a 6-time World Champion or just 5-time WCW and 1-time World (Heavyweight?) Champion. On a side note, I'm looking forward to Smackdown this week with the Battle Royal and Batista's Henry-beating return more than any Raw or SD all year. Even the randomness of Lashley vs Helms intrigues me, hopefully its not a total squash.

Benoit's wife just recently had neck fusion surgery and needs his help around the house. Plus he's burned out. That's my understanding of it.
-
That is a disturbing thought.
-
Can't argue with that.

Man, by the sounds of this interview Randy could teach WWE creative a thing or two about how to get new talents over.
-
Yeah don't get your hopes up. Maybe Randy went back into character since he's going to hook up with Brooke Hogan later on. That's a good point. They probably chipped him for mentioning it in the other interview and now he's got to be single in order to want to have sex with Brooke. Maybe he accidently gave her an RKO after she came up to hug him from behind?

When Mark Henry put Burchill out a few weeks ago the suggestion was that the pirate gimmick would be dropped when he came back after knee surgery.
-
Yeah he said he had a fiancee named Samantha I think?
-
Holy shit, Test has gotten huge.

I think Orton is good on the mic and has a great look but he's lazy as hell in the ring, particularly his amazing overuse of rest holds. I think this feud with Hulk will show us how much he's matured after his suspension because he's going to need to do the bulk of the physical stuff in their match(es). Like Leena said, he's young and got hotshotted to the WHC probably before he was ready, and then booked horribly to compound the problem. My dad likes him, my sisters think he's hot, and I really dig his cocky personality, so I hope for his sake that he can turn it around and capitalise on the chances he's being given. As for Angle, props to WWE management for stepping in when they needed to, and I hope Kurt heals up, fixes his marriage and comes out on top of this Vicodin situation. I've also got a new respect for Sabu after reading that he was willing to sacrifice probably the first decent paying contract of his whole career for RVD. Its nice to hear that they both took their punishments like men.
-
Man in a dress or stooge on a scooter. Enough said.
-
Good to hear that I was right about RVD getting pushed after his suspension. Sucks to be Ken Kennedy though. I'm not sure why they can't feud him with Lashley over the US title now that Booker vs Rey and Batista vs Henry are being set up, presumably to be followed by Booker vs Batista. Kennedy has never been pinned in WWE, so why not just have him make fun of Lashley for the way that he lost his winning streak or something simple like that to kick it off?
-
I only get to see highlights from the ECW show because I live in Australia but this shit sounds worse than the Invasion turned out.
-
I'm excited by it too. Sadly I don't think it will last for very long though. King Booker's Court should steal the tag titles from London and Kendrick, who can then join forces with Batista and/or Rey against them. That could make for some fucking great combinations of matches over a period of a few months.
-
Maybe the kid just told HHH that he thought Shawn was the funnier of the two in the DX skits. That would explain HHH's angry face at least.
-
Basically, yeah. And then suspended for 30 days.
-
If they could be allowed to quit, they could potentially save their own careers with a run-in on an upcoming TNA show, "shooting" on the situation, and turning TNA or at least part of the TNA roster into a "fuck ECW" deal, with Rhino and the Duds obviously joining in. I have a feeling once Van Dam returns, it's certainly not going to be pushing him back on top immediately again. Van Dam, as well as Sabu will likely continue to do jobs throughout the next few months in the least (or until the company finishes up and closes shop by the end of summer) and be "made examples of" in the company, which will lead to them pushing guys like Show, Test, and other horribly vanilla heels on top of a company that will ultimately be digging it's own ditch - still not getting shitty heels liek them over and in the process killing off any last attempt at a sustaining credible push, especially important for Van Dam right now. If they bury him again like they have in WWE before time and time again, there is really not even any value for him to show up on TNA. Think of it like Matt Hardy before coming back to WWE and Matt Hardy now in terms of his value to another company that's trying (keyword: trying) to compete with Vince in TNA. I dunno, I just can't see them not putting RVD back in the title scene when his suspension is up. I mean fuck, they're pushing Orton again and from all accounts he would have been fired if not for the program he was involved in and there wasn't a new brand that needed him back ASAP. Maybe that's just me though. Even if they left WWE they would still have to wait 90 days to appear on TNA wouldn't they?

Seeing her so big and maternal seems weird after all the feuds she's been involved with on-screen. She also looks a lot happier to be at whatever that event is than Hunter does.
