This Raw was ridiculous. They buried the Women's title, clearly pointed out that Edge is being overlooked despite being WWE Champion, put Kane over Shelton for no reason in the third IC title number one contenders match in the last four weeks, had Cena cut an absolutely moronic promo, more Diva Search shit polluting my TV, completely wasted Umaga's win over HHH in a repeat of last week with HBK, and Shane and Vince dressed and Elvis and never going the fuck away. A lobotomized chimp could write a more entertaining 2 hour show of wrestling. Flair and Foley's promos, along with Edge as WWE champion are the only things keeping me watching Raw right now. Trish took both of those spears like an absolute champion though.

That's not a bad read, despite being entirely speculation.

Balls, Credible and Guido are not main eventers, at least not anymore. High-profile feuds with main eventers like Angle and Sabu and RVD need to be used at the top of the card to establish the title before you can start to elevate young guys. If a title is worthless, it doesn't elevate anybody by putting them into a program with it. And they also need to keep ratings strong enough that the brand's TV deal is extended beyond the original 12 week deal. In all probability, Balls Mahoney vs Big Show for a belt with no lineage will not do that.
