Madden, NFL Head Coach, and NCAA Football 2009
Broward83 replied to Matt Young's topic in Video Games
I think by the time Madden comes out, we'll figure out exactly how we're going to see who gets what team. I'm guessing either name in a hat for people who want the same team or a bribe of some sort might work as well. -

Madden's stealing 90 or so US dollars from me..since I'm getting the 20th anniversary edition. I'm still up for the dynasty..but I think we need to fill it out completely with 32 people..if anyone can find out, please post what you find -
apparently, from reading the newest issue of EGM..the un-named apprentice you play in Star Wars: Force Unleashed will be a playable character in the new Soul Calibur.

You're already the promoter. That's the purpose of this entire project. You obtain talent and you decide how to utilize, promote and sell them in the image of your philosophy. Not what I was meaning, but whatever.
-
...I like that idea and for some reason, something in my head is going: "..why don't we pick a promoter too.." but there's only one guy I'd choose to pick for that idea.

Rodger's should just grow some balls and take out an ad in the Green Bay paper.. write some letter about how some might know him but most don't. Those that do know he had a successful college career and was drafted to be the future of a proud franchise. Those that don't know him only see him as "that guy" on the bench and as Brett's personal water boy...but come this season, everyone in Green Bay will know who he is. Aaron Rodgers: Starting QB for the Green Bay Packers.

Just want to get my pick up, I'll get a picture up in a minute.. Kanyon I figure with having Nova on my roster, this is an almost no-brainer to book. Two men who have the ability to throw at each other numerous moves and counters to those moves. Plus.. the scene backstage of them using liscensed action figures in a mock-up ring to plan out spots and new moves will ease any backstage tension.

And why is that? Because I'm happy the Sonics are coming? Does that mean I have to become a Sonics fan? I don't think so. I can just go to enjoy basketball. NBA games are fun to watch, and I'll be going to enjoy a basketball game. I'll also definitely go when the Celtics come to town and be front and center in my Celtics gear. That's what I've got a problem with, personally. You're getting a team..time to support the team and go because you're supporting that team, not because "Oh hey.. there's basketball in town tonight! Let's go down and watch us some roundball.." seriously. I don't want you to get to Marvin levels..but fuck Boston.. fuck whomever else and just root for the OKC Sonics or whatever they're going to be called.

For my final pick, I go with a Russian. A member of the Winter Guard the KGB and even the Champions of Los Angeles...that woman is: Darkstar Abilites: Darkforce manipulation Flight Teleportation Concussive blasts Ability to create solid constructs composed of Darkforce energy

I was just about to post the link to the japanese site.. heh

I was thinking Forge for the past couple of rounds..solid pick, IMO.

Well..I figured I'd go ahead and take a coach that might give my as of yet unfilled defense some love. A former defensive coordinator before taking the job as a head coach. Never won a Superbowl.. never won a conference title. All he's done is gone out and coach.. well.. that and push some god damned good sausage. Bum Phillips -- Head Coach (To an official) "Hey, can I, can I tell you one thing? That's three holding penalties on one football team in a quarter and a half. (Pauses) That ain't funny."

"If the commissioner chooses to retire from the Online Dynasty it will end the dynasty for all users. The dynasty can be brought back to life by either the commissioner or another member of the dynasty as long as they have a copy of the dynasty file saved on their local console. Whichever user chooses to bring the dynasty back to life will take over as the commissioner and invitations will need to be resent to the other users." From the Running the Online Dynasty as Commish PDF file. -
Marshall Law is a failed Australian TV series. You're referring to martial law. ...which was a failed U.S. TV series. ...which is the name of a Tekken character. ...which is based off Bruce Lee.

So from what I can gather, you can't edit the conferences but whoever wants to commish this can set it up to have non-conference members play against the other as its the commish only that can set up custom schedules. -
Sorry for the missed pick..work and just general feeling ill are to blame. My next pick, again I can't find a decent picture but I'm going to bolster the tag ranks again: The Voodoo Murders: TARU and Satoshi Kojima

I think I read some where that you can shuffle around the conferences or actually create your own for the dynasty you're in. I've gotta try to re-find that article.. -

Alright...so with the game two weeks out, I think we should start trying to solidify who's going to be wanting in on the dynasty and as what team. I'm sure everyone can tell that I'll be for running Texas. So, who's all still in? -
Sorry for the missed pick.. Wahoo McDaniel Needed a linebacker so I figured I'd get a guy who in one game recorded twenty-three tackles.
