So I "watched" the game today. Alot of dropped balls from our receivers. There was a point where for three straight plays it was just drop after drop after drop and we'd be forced to punt. As of right now, if we choose to use the advanced tactics, there's a setting in there to force starters onto the field during the last five minutes of the 2nd and 4th quarters.. if people are good with this, then I'll go in and play around with some of the advanced energy settings to try and get things straight. For those setting their training on auto-pilot of sorts, stamina is playing a bigger role this season so bumping that up or using a boost to get it up might be a good idea. If anyone wants to make a back up LB, that'd be awesome. We're pretty weak after myself, Hoji and Simon trot off the field. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=3050991 One LB and all of our CB's out on the field to play D.. heh (I've noticed thru some of the other plays.. its happening quite a bit where we've got our CB core out there with at least one or two playing LB..)

Because its so damned cheap and we try our best to sell them to people too stupid to know they need the Pro model to really do anything with the system. I hate when we get those things in our store..fuck, I think we all threw a small party when we got the last of the god-awful Halo3 systems out the door.

Hey Ced, whenever you've got some honest free time.. do you want to go thru the adv. tactics for the team? Set up strategies for the down/distance and stam for the defensive side?

Maybe. You've got Punk who's made his name on singles matches in ECW, he's gone out and worked match after match as a singles star and earned his main recognition as such. Miz, you've got someone who was a passable singles star and never really did much of anything to make you think he was a credible singles star. Now he's with Morrison and is a tag champion.. in a way proving that on his own, he couldn't garner singles recognition so it took him teaming with someone else that compliments him in order to hold a title. So in that aspect.. yeah. Punk losing to someone who is more known for his tag role as of late could be seen as slightly discerning. (Granted, I don't really have a problem with Miz and actually think the guy's got some talent and has been improving by leaps and bounds from where he was originally with the company. I just figure I'm on the side that Punk as the winner of MITB should be built up to be a threat to the big boys and not drop matches cleanly to a GM or be side-tracked by Hawkins / Ryder and get speared out of his boots for like..the second or third time)

General question: Are people simply setting their players on "auto-pilot" with training and not changing their game tactics or are people going in game by game and changing tactics based on who we're playing and what not?

I coulda sworn the only way to do the link between 360 and PC was if you had WindowsXP Media Center as your OS....

Question for Czech and the Cubs fans: Now I didn't skim last weeks thread so it might've been covered in that one or the week before but what's the current situation with the Cubs ownership? Last I heard was that there was a move to sell the team off but I haven't really heard to who.. just that everyone in the area (business wise) wants to make sure that Cuban doesn't get the team. Any knowledge you can drop?
