Yeah, no one in Houston back then was thinking about Peppers as a pick. Things for us as a team seemed to get thrown out of whack early on when Mike Vick came out a year early to enter the draft. Had he stayed in for his full term, he would've come out the year we had our first draft and would've more than likely been our pick. At first, we loved Carr. Granted, I was one of the people on the Joey Harrington bandwagon that thought he would've done better than David. (hindsight is a motha-fucka..) I of the belief that if we're going to get behind the "draft for need" aspect that I see the Texans have been going, then we need to get an OT with the first pick or pick up Hall. Picking up AP, like I said.. I hope it ends up in us trading him for a few draft picks that we can use to replace what we gave to Atlanta for this year. I think if he's available for us to take in a mid to late round.. either Kolb or Troy Smith would be a good back-up / insurance policy if this whole Schaub thing falls thru.

The fucker has the wingspan of a midget and is easily anywhere from 6" to 12" above any player on the court, yet he doesn't keep his arms up nor does he jump to make a block. Seeing Boozer and a few others drive at him and sail shots over his frame and into the bottom of the net worries me if we move on to play the Mavs. T-Mac is doing what T-Mac does and hoping he doesn't crumble in the playoffs, I'll be happy to ride him thruout the playoffs.. but then again, his falling apart is dependent on how the other three pieces play around him and Yao. Battier and Rafer are doing a good job at their roles. Shane's hitting timely three's and Rafer has improved his game tremendously to become maybe not a top-flight PG but one of those guys that get the team moving and knows how to operate the offense they're part of. Like I've said, I'm hoping "The City" can upset Dallas to give us an easier match-up on our side of the bracket...or if not, take them deep and get Dirk and maybe Terry tired so that we could pick up a quick win or two in Dallas.

Welp... called Microsoft today and talked to "Devin". Not much of a hassle that I thought it would be. Gonna ship me a UPS box within 3-5 business days for me to ship my system to McAllen, TX for fixing. Said it'd be about a two week turnaround for me to get my system back. Hopfully this fixes everything...

So Golden State looks like they could pull the upset over the Mavs. As a Houstonian.. this makes me quite happy. Even if they don't win it, taking the Mav's to a long series will help us out as a fresh Dallas team could be a bit of a hassle. Now, if Denver can just keep up this streak their on and find a way to get past both San Antonio and Phoenix, then I'll be happy. The East? Meh...I guess I want the Bulls. Austin is like, the city everyone wants to "live" in. Personally, I think its a bit over-rated due to the live music scene. The only thing the city has is that and the University of Texas. Granted, you're about 30mins away from San Antonio and with being in the central of the state.. you're not too far from everything else. (Drawback is that, it's fucking Texas.. everything is at one end of the border or the other, as far as "major" cities go) I'm looking at a place in Houston.. about 700SqF (1 Bed/Bath Townhome) that's only something like, 20mins or less from Reliant Stadium and its only maybe 500.00 a month. Also, if you're into the whole party thing... South Padre is only 6hrs away and the Spring Break season here is something like 1-3 weeks due to National colleges taking their breaks before the official "Texas Week" (when all of the Texas colleges go on break) and then the rest of the nation taking a later break. It all comes down to what you're wanting to focus on I think bro. With the Med Center, you've got a place where there's always going to be jobs and you'll be surrounded by some of your profession's top talent. A good nightlife and sports culture ties everything together..

I'm thinking of getting a DS... Is it still a top choice to pick for a handheld or should I just go for the PSP? (I don't really care about the UMD movies and all that shit...) My only reservation is that it seems whenever I make a choice to buy a handheld, within a month or two they bust out a newer model. Also, what are some of the better games for it?

Alright..last night while playing MLB 2k7 the game seemed to freeze up.. screen got a bit jumbled and the system just froze. Turned off the system, turned it back on and the red rings of death came on.... upper right zone wasn't lit. Got the green lights back and tried to play MLB again.. same shit happened. Just now, tried to play Crackdown and the system froze up while loading me into a supply point. (MLB happened once while picking my starting pitcher for a franchise game.. the other time during the game) Is this a case of something wrong with the HD, or is it the dreaded CD-Drive problem?
