No laziness for Carlito in this match...that springboard on the ladder was the tits...and so was the sunset powerbomb
-
Maybe I missed it, but is Cena scheduled to come back tonight?
-
I love the Patterson comments with their gay connotation hahaha
-
AHAHAHA!!! This is great!
-
Im guessing this is where Trish comes out
-
I'm just expecting a night of nostalgia and nothing else. Jeff vs Carlito will be a nice little match with some good spots, regardless if it has any relevance at all. I'm going to revel in the greatness of Hogan getting a mediocre pop though. I would actually be fine if they didn't reference any actual feuds going on right now and just had random fun matches. I'm worried that the night will be full of dead heat from a lot of the fans not remembering who people are. I mean...people are going to be saying "Who the fuck is Bart Gunn?" "Sunny?" and so on and so on

WWE General Discussion - December 2007
Wally Balls replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm sorry, but no one in TNA is a superstar and I'm very sure that Vince doesn't fear TNA. Even with TNA's abundance of former WWE and WCW stars, the WWE will continue to be percieved as the #1 brand. TNA's biggest name has no where near the drawing power of Cena, HBK, Taker or HHH. They may have at one time, but certainly not anymore. -
I'm not going to be satisfied until I see The Rock in the ring again Not that it has to do with anything... But yeah...anyway, Jericho will screw Orton later tonight
-
The thread is about as dead as the crowd...
-
That's quite sad. You can see him about 4-6 times a week on cable. It's not sad... He hasn't been on Raw live in years...I have every right to lose thousands of my potential children if he appears
-
Honestly...If Rock appears on Raw next week... I'm going to orgasm...numerous times
-
Hogan, Trish, Bischoff, Austin Horsnwoggles calling someone...probably Cena...hopefully Rock
-
haha I was thinking the exact same thing. Trish got a bigger pop and of course Austin did too.
-
The whole subject of HD of a conversation topic is about appealing as what race The Rock is... Speaking of The Rock, it's nice to hear that they're trying to contact him for a special appearance. I imagine it would be a comedy segment with Hornswoggle, Coach, Santino, Vince or all 4 combined. I definitely wouldn't have him do a segment with Orton, HHH, Kennedy, HBK, Jericho or anyone that he would seemingly have a feud with considering it's only a one time thing. Seeing how this is shaping up to be the most star powered Raw in recent history, I wouldn't be suprised to see Cena back for a special appearance as well. I say Cena gets the biggest pop...closely followed by The Rock and Austin. HHH and HBK are seemingly getting less and less over as the weeks go on. If Hogan appears, well...I just don't know. I don't care about him and his only value at all is for a quick nostalgia pop with some shirt ripping and such.

I didn't see those two kiss last week... eh... I still fucking hate Batista.
-
But his character worked. He got decent heel heat and face heat. If it isn't broken, then don't fix it. But yeah, outside of a few people on this board, no one really thinks Trevor and Lance are fun to watch, at all.
-
Outside of the smark world, his return wasn't really widespread. Give it a few more weeks. I'm not saying Jericho will boost the ratings at all, but he's certainly not to blame for anything.
-
Carlito interupting Flair would make the most sense, given the history that they have. Carlito getting his ass chewed out by Flair, then turning on Flair shortly after. However, I think Carlito would be objected to anything that involves him for more than 1 week considering he wants to get the fuck out, and by last week's Hornswoggle segment, should be out in no time. I think Carlito was a decent worker with good charisma and an interesting character. I would like for him to stay around considering he's not really that bad. I'm sick of bland characters like Cade/Murdoch, Cody Rhodes, Haas and Benjamin, Londrick and so forth.
-
I hope they use Jericho correctly. He has to stay at the top of the card, regardless of whoever wants to give him the shaft backstage. If they fuck this up, count on Jericho reappearing on talk shows with negative things to say about the E...and I don't blame him. At this point in HHH's career...I really wonder who Vince would listen to first...HHH or Shane...
-
If they're going to do the whole Rocky angle, they should probably start building it up this week on Raw. I would give it as much time as possible before Mania to really get Flair back over as one of the best in the world. For the first few weeks, a lot of the casual fans (I really dont like to call them marks) will probably think of Ric Flair's wins as flukes, but if they give it enough time, it really could be something interesting. Oh, and I just saw that The Rock was inducted into the WON hall of fame. That's really great news. He'll obviously be in the WWE hall of fame as well, but it's a good sign of The Rock being respected backstage and whatnot.

Classic......... And after he said that, he still got a brief push, even beating John Cena during the summer on RAW and getting a PPV match with HHH. Yeah, Carlito shouldn't be too worried. He'll always have a spot in his Puerto Rico due to his father being huge there. I guess he faced Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) in a match recently. Razor dubbed Carlito a rip off of Razor Ramon and called him "mini razor". I really wish Scott Hall had his youth back. The man was an outstanding worker and with whatever gimmick he had, whether it was Razor Ramon or Scott Hall, he was incredibly over with the crowd. I think he could put on some great matches with some of the stars in the WWE today.

I'm going to assume that whoever wins the rumble (my guesses are Edge, Jericho, Taker, or Punk) goes after the SD! title. I think that they can gain more drawing power from a Raw Elimination Chamber. As far as the chamber, we'll probably see Orton as champ going in, but certainly not going out. The other 5 will most likely be HHH, Hardy, Umaga, HBK, and Kennedy. 3 heels and 3 faces...seems great. If Jericho doesn't win the Rumble, theres certainly a possibility that he could be in Kennedy's spot in the chamber, but I think it's too early to tell at this point.

Yeah, it would be correct to call his child Mulatto. I personally don't care what you call your own child, but it's just not correct to call him all black or white.
-
Umm...well...lets put it this way.... I was born in South Korea by two Korean People...by logic, I have Korean genetics Rock was born to a Samoan mother and African American father...so yes, part of him would be African American. However, I think I know what Jingus was trying to get across. The Rock simply doesn't look black. He looks Hawian, Samoan or even Native American. It's not racist to say that someone looks different than another person. I'm not trying to say that all blacks look alike, but they do have some distinguishing features that I don't see in The Rock. I'm Asian, its not racist to say that I have distinguishing Asian features while someone else with Asian genetics doesn't have.

MVP is getting pushed to only be squashed by Batista or Taker... Punk will remain the "European Champion" on ECW...which btw, I'm sorry to say, no one really cares about. Jeff Hardy is super over, but I can't help but think that he'll be stuck in the shadows of HHH due to their new partnership. Plus once Lashley gets back, he'll be pushed over Hardy.
