I deleted MySpace since I made this thread however long ago. Just couldn't handle it anymore. I didn't appreciate the new Facebook at first but I strongly prefer it now.

Bill Simmons wrote a really good piece today on his dog dying. Yes, it has nothing to do with sports and it probably isn't really 100% suitable for its prime location on ESPN.com but like all dog stories, it really hit home for me.

I wear a 36 and I'm about 220. I think it depends on the brand and the fit, too. I only wear boot cut which run a bit tighter. On the other hand - there would be laughably bad consequences if I tried to squeeze in to a 36 sized jean from Abercrombie or Hollister or something.

As I am about to embark on re-watching all the seasons, I figured I would start this thread. What we know: Jimmy McNulty the family man is a thing of the past. The media is the over-riding theme of the season. Wood Harris has said we have not seen the last of Avon Barksdale. It premieres January 6th and it's really all we've got with the damn strike going on. What does everyone want to see happen?

They are doing the same thing they did last season. Last season they split up the 6 and left you wondering all year, how the fuck do they end up together to all make it back? This year - how the heck do they all end up back on the island. No one wants to be with Ben except Jack. And he's got 70 hours? Amazingly, I completely forgot that we've lost anywhere from one to two years of Sayid's time. Nadia died about 1 year post island and then he started killing for Ben. Obviously did this for awhile but no idea how long The Economist took place after that. I never expected them to have had a falling out and not still working as a unit by the time of Locke's funeral. Also - whose side is Sun really on? What a smarmy little bitch she was to Kate. It's also pretty obvious now that Locke isn't really dead. Especially the way Ben dodged Jack's question. That makes me very pleased.

It's still not possible. I know how small is Apple is in relation to Microsoft but if they ever end up going under they would not outright be sold to Microsoft and cease to exist as Apple computer. Not possible. Obviously Bill Gates already pumped money back into the company to keep it afloat in the mid 90s, but Apple being outright sold to Microsoft is not a possibility, regardless of share price.

Well, I have no idea what it's going to be BUT I did read in TV Guide that it's a typical Lost premiere, complete with holy shit moment. Oh man, I can't wait.

221.2. I only lost 1.8 pounds this week but that's ok. I'm not exactly on a diet or anything - just being healthy. Two pounds a week is what you should optimally lose. I'm not sure if I'm being lumped into the fat group but my 220 pounds isn't exactly all fat. Still need to lose about 20-30 pounds, though. It's been a few years since I've been jacked and I'd like to get back to that.

TONIGHT TONIGHT This is the second last season premiere of Lost. I think my excitement level is at a place where it very seldom gets. And to think I will actually be this excited for an event in another week and a half. January is a good month.

You're all missing the point. Charlie wanted to die. He closed the door because he believed in his heart that he had to die for Claire and Aaron to be saved. So whether he could have made it out of the hole or made it out the door (I thought that originally myself)... it's irrelevant. It's one of my all-time favorite scenes, myself.

Doesn't matter because of course Billy Walsh is fucking the hottest blonde the FBI probably has to offer. Although I have to say, I don't exactly love the way he's playing this character. It's a bit too dry.

I knew Brian wasn't trustworthy! And I was wondering how Jack was going to do anything other than waste her. He put a gun to Chase's head and pulled the trigger and also sent Chapelle into the abyss. So here I was thinking it was pretty bad ass that he didn't give her a kill shot but then Emerson makes them bury her alive. Pretty awesome ending there.

Claire wouldn't exactly be a throwaway since she's now with Christian and working for the island, supposedly. Cool little bit on the 6th disc of the Season 4 DVD: showing all the flash forwards back to back in chronological order.

I watched the complete 4th season again over the past two weeks including all the commentaries. Still working my way through the special features but I can't wait for Wednesday. I read an interview where they said to "be patient" with the first half of the season because everything will be paid off in a big way in the 2nd half. I never had a problem with the first half of season 3 but I know some people did. I don't think they will drag that much anyway because time isn't a luxury for them right now.
