I'm interested to see what Kampmann can muster up in the matchup w/ Franklin. I was impressed with his performance against McFedries. T. Griffin vs. Guida should be awesome, you're right on that. F. Griffin should be interesting too because he NEEDS to win after getting his head implanted into the mat by Jardine at 66. I'm also hoping for a big win by "The Athlete", Ed Herman getting KTFO by Scott Smith (I can dream), and a nice comeback for Sanchez.

Pence sounds like a poor man's Josh Hamilton. Too bad he didn't start playing another year or he could have won ROY, but that award has already been taken for 2007. I dunno. Hamilton's been cooling down a bit. He's only hitting .288. And there is the possibility of the "face-down in the gutter/smack off of a stripper's ass" scenario. Do the Marlins have any good rookies? When in doubt, pick the Fish. No ROY for the Marlins this year. Only rookie in the lineup is Alejandro De Aza and none of the rookie pitchers will be impact.

WTF is up with this? For those not familiar they use the last few pages to show hot clothes, watches, shoes, etc. at the moment. The problem I have is... you see something you like and think about buying it but then you look at the caption and it's like $375 jeans or a $1200 watch. I guess they need to provide options for the ballers too but I see it as a cocktease. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has ever felt this frustration. This was spurred on by seeing a pair of Pumas I liked in the hot sneaker section and finding out they are $230 special edition shoes, followed on the very next page by a $975 watch catching my eye.

This isn't really a spoiler so I'll just say it... there are no Sawyer flashbacks scheduled for the rest of the season. Do you really think they are going to do the big reveal that the real Sawyer is Locke's dad without a flashback to go along with it? But you're right. It makes more sense that Locke is talking about him then Ben himself.

This reminds me on something about Abreu. From just an observation standpoint, from all the players you've seen, in your opinion, where does Abreu rank among the best eye in baseball? Out of all the players i've seen bat, he definitely has the best eye i've seen. His at-bats are fun to watch, and when he strikes out swinging, it seems like he just gave away an at-bat. Probably second, behind Barry Bonds. It's funny because when I watched Abreu hit, I was reminded of the famous Bill Klem line (Klem was a HOF umpire). When a young pitcher questioned his calls while pitching to Rogers Hornsby, Klem stated, "young man, when you throw a strike Mr. Hornsby will let you know." I said the same thing jokingly about Abreu. If Abreu thought it was outside, it was. Jeremy Hermida has an incredible eye too, except he's been a bust in every other aspect. Never being on the field doesn't help either.

I don't know enough about movies to do a pool but wouldn't the Pixar movie be a better bet to clear 200M?

Yeah... I also think it's a staged fake crash somehow. Because they know that everyone...repeat EVERYONE will revolt if they were dead the entire time. You know, there are so many layers right now that it hurts my brain. Juliette doing nice things, then being nefarious, THEN turning off the recorder to say "I hate you" to Ben. Exactly where does she stand right now? We won't know until the end of the season finale and not even then. And Locke... Again... we won't know until the season finale. Needless to say, another REALLY good episode and it's looking like straight bad-assness from here until the finale.

I need to watch this 9th inning on MLB.tv. I saw it was 3-0 Braves in the 7th when I got home and didn't even bother to put the game on... Oops.

Clarkson wasn't looking curvy tonight. She was looking pregnant. But god damn can she sing. To be fair, I think she wore possibly the least flattering dress possible, but she definitely packed on a 20-30 spot. I'm not surprised they didn't eliminate anyone. This was a waste of time, but I still kind of enjoyed it. I wish they did more with Bono...

No. It was 20 minutes tops. Amanda in her see through underwear was nice. I bet that's probably all we're gonna get out of her, but whatever. Ari crying over Vince, hijacking his therapist, and then getting his mean streak back was nice. That whole scene w/ the therapist and his wife towards the beginning was gold. Looking forward to next week but I couldn't believe how short this episode was.
