"He wants to leave. He thinks he's a fucking actor. Fuck him. Put him with Sherk. I'll have him fuckin' lay on him for three rounds. Let's see him act his way out of that. Stupid pretty boy fuck. Fuck him." /dana

Last night was the highest ratest countdown show in UFC history. Let's hope that record only lasts for 1 week and then 1 week again.

I don't eat cereal these days but when I do...I always drink the milk. Current breakfast: wheat toast with light peanut butter... on the weekend when I have time I add in an omelet made of eggbeaters and red peppers. It's nothing special but it's pretty tasty for the 60 or 70 calories it contains.

Mall Cop wasn't a worst movie contender. I saw a free sneak preview. It was stupid and it knew it was stupid but there were still a few funny moments in it.

Glasvegas, anyone? Giving it a listen tonight to see what the hype is about.

Oh man that's so awesome. He should be a fucking star, man. Idris is too damn good for this Tyler Perry bullshit he has been doing lately.

lol at Monson. Let's bring along ESPN while I commit a felony. -
^this. BJ still thinks he's invincible. No way he's scared of GSP.

Amazing show, as I expected. Not too high on that bs trickery ending... making it look like BJ is pussin' out on training again. God forbid he takes a few days off. That's intentional as well - they want people doubting. -From an MMAJunkie interview posted earlier today

First 24/7 countdown on tonight at 10.

Carwin/Gonzaga is no main event.

Even last night when he was pretty damn negative? "Yes, I was aware that Jack might be killed. So was he." "If the Prime Minister has to die for us to stop this crisis, so be it."

I did enjoy the movie but I don't think it should win Best Picture. It's in the Crash category for me. Good movie, but not exactly Best Picture material.

My girlfriend won tickets to a sneak preview of Paul Blart: Mall Cop tomorrow evening. The last movie we got sneak tickets to was Nick and Norah. I have a feeling I won't like this one as much but it does look somewhat passable compared to normal Kevin James vehicles.

Tonight: Franz Ferdinand sounds like what you'd expect a Franz record to sound like. Lots of up-tempo numbers and it winds down with a few nice ballads. "Katharine Kiss Me" is a good closer. I'm still unsure how I feel about the album. It didn't grab me immediately but then I remembered that the last two albums didn't either right away. Anyway - I really like "Ulysses" and there are a few other good tracks. Overall - I really enjoy it. Idolator was right, though. The longer remixed version of "Lucid Dreams" is probably my favorite Franz song to date.

Pretty fast to hit that big ol' reset button.

By the way, did any Curb Your Enthusiasm fans notice Crazy Eyes Killah as the confused air traffic controller?
-
Take it back... Gizmodo is correcting their earlier report and saying that the Pre will be either $149 or $199 on contract - which makes it an excellent choice, IMO.

Tonight: Franz Ferdinand leaked over the weekend. Just found out about it this morning and need to wait until tonight to give it a listen. Anyone who can get to it today and give their thoughts here would be appreciated. Idolator is saying that "Lucid Dreams" is stretched out to 8 minutes and is the highlight of the album. Can't wait to get my hands on this.

24: Redemption was filmed after the first however many episodes of this season. Meaning that for the movie they went back and put that character in since I believe previously it was only supposed to be a reference to an off-screen event. If that makes sense. These original episodes are still the ones that were supposed to air last year at this time.

Keep in mind that the first four hours of last season were amazing (nuclear bomb going off, Jack shooting Curtis in the fucking neck) but then it divebombed faster then anyone could have thought possible. They have a strong story arc built here. I read in TV Guide that they have a really good explanation for Tony coming back and how he wasn't dead. This is the first season in 24 history where the entire season is written ahead of time and they just filmed it without making parts of it up as they go. It was a strong start to the season, I thought. It's hard to introduce a ton of new characters and have you care about them right away. There is a wrinkle to the no one believes Jack card; this time they sort of believe him but think he's absolutely crazy and are afraid that he's just going to dismember somebody (which is possible) when previously they just thought he was wrong. I like it so far. I think it will pick up tonight when Jack gets his hands on Tony. Also when Chloe gets back in the fold.
