Yeah... I was just gonna tell everyone to keep an eye on Johan tonight. Lookin' SHARP.

I love it. He pulled an illegal U-Turn to avoid a checkpoint and got arrested for that. LOVE IT. I hate J.J. and his poetry and I only wish I got to see him once at the Smith Center because he got heckled pretty bad there.

And said it was karma that Eric Gregg died last week.
-
Anybody see it? Probably going tomorrow afternoon but no one I know has seen it and I'm looking for some non-critics opinions. Looks not quite as good as the other Pixar films but pretty decent nonetheless.

I really, really enjoyed this movie. The old lady car, the French pit stop crew, and the end credits were all at the top of my list. "Only one man can fix this road... BIG AL." "Big Al's been gone for 15 years." "Well then why did you bring him up, LEMON." I don't know why, but that cracked me up. Big time. Solid A from me.

Amazing finish. Same guy hit the go ahead HR in the 8th and GW HR in the 9th.

3 run HR for the Tarheels. And grrr... now a 3 run HR for Alabama and they're up 7-6.

Firetruck.

I haven't watched wrestling since HHH/Kane/Katie Vick stuff, but yeah... I just set this to record all episodes on my DVR.

No. Mattingly told him he was playing. He got them elsewhere.

Thinking of a word that starts in F and ends in UCK...

C'mon, who doesn't want to hear a stupid joke every now and then? -
He didn't really cause any problems in Florida either. He was my childhood hero. Whoops.

I'm not positive but I'm almost certain that on the preview for this week's show at the end of last week's they mentioned that the semi-finals would start for the middleweights tonight.

Looks like the Royals have hired a new coach.

I can use some of the "leaded" coffee to get me through some of my days. Too bad the steriod names got blocked out, but really... how much does Jason F'n Grimsley really know?

A new season of Entourage = GOLD. I don't have HBO but that's the one show I will actively hunt down on torrent. I like how they ended last season - so hopefully it stays awesome.

Couple that w/ a DUI, a one car accident, and his crazy on the field personality and you're beginning to see why he didn't go #1 overall when he has the stuff for it. Let's hope he doesn't become the Phillies Jeff Allison.

Hey Bruiser, the guy the Cubs took in the 1st round was projected 3rd or 4th round. Apparently the Cubs didn't want to pay slot money so they underdrafted (ie they were being cheap). If you want to hear out and out hilarity, go to phillies.com and listen to Kyle Drabeck's draft interview.
-
The funny thing is that the Rangers have a bonafide superstar in Mark Teixeira.
-
This is the weakest draft in about 5 years. It's gonna cause a guy like Drew Stubbs, who is an all world fielder with a questionable major league level bat to be among the first position players chosen. At least a Tarheel is gonna go number one w/ Andrew Miller - unless the Royals cheap out on the pick. And in other news, former umpire, Livan Hernandez and Florida Marlin 1997 WS Champion supporter Eric Gregg suffered a massive stroke. He's not gonna be the same again, if he survives at all. I'll never forget that game. Balls about two feet off the plate were being called strikes. Braves fans must hate him.

Well - Marlins swept the Rockies. Look out Pittsburgh! And Washington is next to be passed. Miguel Cabrera moved his average up to around .360.

While I think it might be a good idea to trade Dontrelle to the Dodgers or D-Backs, apparently Larry Beinfest isn't even letting teams make offers for him. He cuts them off before they even get the chance. I think they are really serious about hanging on to him. I honestly think they'll be back around .500 as soon as next season - so it wouldn't be too bad to keep Dontrelle. And Cubs fans, if you want to feel even better about the Juan Pierre experience... check out what Ricky Nolasco did at Coors field tonight.

Marlins have been on a bit of a winning streak lately. They're dangerously close to surpassing the Pirates and no longer having the worst record in the NL! Yes!

Apple products and baseball. And I'm a biochemist - so I guess science as well.

mlb.com now reporting that the Clemens/Astros deal is finalized. $14 million. Not bad for a few months work.
