Urijah Faber protege Joe Benevides will make his WEC debut on the December 3rd card. He looked damn good in his DREAM bout. A nice addition to an already stacked card.

So Pitchfork gave a really good review today to the band "Love is All" and compared this record (their second) to the second effort of The Clash and The Strokes. Has anyone heard this band? Is the comparison in scope/quality of the record or in sound? I'm at work so I can't check it out myself at the moment but maybe someone can stop me from wasting my time if the review is totally inaccurate.

Even though the buildup has sucked I'm starting to get really amped for the fight.

I already quit watching wrestling by the time he started so I'm not familiar with him. It will be interesting to see how he does. He certainly looks like he can be an athletic freak like Brock.

That was a pretty interesting episode last night... brought the focus back on Chase and Cameron for the first time in years. It was ok... I wonder what they are going to do with House and Cuddy. I'm hoping they'll get together for just a little bit and it's not just an entire tease. I also think that Wilson was being serious when he admit his feelings for Cuddy.

I snapped it up before I even posted this. Always meant to buy the DVDs but like a lot of TV DVDs that aren't Lost, 24, or Seinfeld it's more wishful thinking then something I need to purchase. It was just too good to pass up.

I also watched Randy's biography on A&E last night and they made no attempt at hiding the fact that Captain America cheated on his first wife and abandoned his kids. I found that odd.

Up until this morning that only MMA brand clothing I have owned is a GSP Affliction t-shirt. I felt the need to change that and ordered (a way overpriced at $30+$10 s/h) shirt from BJPenn.com. It was the corner man shirt from UFC 84 and it's the only one I thought wasn't laughable.

I shouldn't be surprised by the fact that there are only two episodes left but I totally am. That caught me off guard.

If the countdown show taught me anything it's that when he was in his 20s and early 30s...Randy was that guy. If you've seen it - you probably know what I mean. I don't think I would have liked that Randy Couture very much. Or at all even.

UFC 91 Countdown premieres tonight at 11pm. They pussied out and scrapped the 24/7 style type hype shows but my guide has an All Access on both Brock and Randy listed for Thursday night. I'm not clear, however, if they are new episodes or repeats of previous All Access on each guy.

Faber is still the highest paid WEC employee, I'm sure. He probably just signed a new contract with a lower per fight payout in lieu of a massive friggin' guarantee. No way he only made $14k from last week's fight.
