Ok, Tyler Hansbrough has suffered an injury which they are calling a "stress" to his leg which sounds like the beginning of a stress fracture and he's going to need to sit out for a bit. Trying not to panic here. It's not that I don't doubt that we can cruise through our season this year without him but I have aspirations of an NCAA title, undefeated season and two thrashings of a rejuvenated top-10 ranked Duke. Damn it.

Well at this point I think David Wright is a better player than Cabrera but at the time I thought the argument was silly. Miguel hasn't progressed as many had imagined he would. I was so out of touch with the Phillies this year that when Buck was going over Lidge's stats in the 9th I was completely awestruck. The last time I checked in on Brad Lidge he was still Pujols' bitch and shaky as a closer and now he's '98 Mariano Rivera? Yeah... I had no idea.

Marlins need a catcher. Maybin is going to play CF this upcoming year, ready or not, so catcher is the only position that needs to be filled. Otherwise, they are still in the position they should be... ready to contend this year and next. Tarheels need only one thing: to avoid injuries.

Just think for a second though... dude makes a killing on sponsorships alone. If Bas really wanted to show he is a serious martial artist he could nudge him to this avenue and then if he wins Dana will have no choice but to play ball with him. Yes, it's like less than 1% and I personally have no desire to see Kimbo in the UFC but I'd love to see him on TUF.

Dana went ahead and offered Kimbo a spot on The Ultimate Fighter. Obviously not very likely, but imagine Bas talks him in to accepting? Highest rated season yet.

C'mon, now, guys... let's not get nuts over something that could very well end up being a throwaway shot. Yes, I know that creating theories is part of the fun, but usually those theories need to come from something more substantiative then a 1 second teaser shot that you need to slow down/pause just to tell exactly what it is. I myself can barely wait until January but it's no fun to just make shit up. Once we get some real clips then I think that's more valid. I dunno, am I being anal here? What do other people think?

Renzo Gracie was a great guest on Inside MMA. Tons of great, funny stories. That story about choking out "the man on his couch with his daughter" was hilarious.

I'm with everyone else who said it was a great episode. Andy had the line of the episode, I think..."You'll always be safe around me, I'm an excellent screamer." I lost it. Looks like Holly's gonna get fired now.

Probably the best Weekend Update I've ever seen in my life. I like Tim Calhoun, but then it got better with Jean K. Jean... who I always love but I was crying during the Palin rap. I even laughed so hard I cried the second time through. Unreal. Wahlberg showing up was funny too. There were a ton of weird skits last night but I like Kristen's character that can't keep a secret. Awesome show.
