Billy Walsh is the best character ever. Out of the main characters, I like Drama and Ari the best. Vince gets to do all the cool stuff but he's not really that great of a character.

Love them... not exactly deep music but very fun. For all the Ryan Adams fans on the board... here's an audio mp3 in EXCELLENT quality from the entire two set show in Boston Sunday. One of the best bootleg mp3 shows quality wise I've heard. http://www.archive.org/details/ryanadams20...-07.mk41.flac16 5 new songs spanning the two sets. Pretty fucking awesome all around.

Maybe I am biasing the degree but not the point. Tamdan was more aggressive, controlled the pace of the fight and kept pushing Gono while they were on their feet.

The thing that caught my eye the most today was the dual driver in ear bud headphones for $79. Usually dual driver headphones are upwards of $200, which explains why I as of yet do not own any. If they are as good as advertised, for the price, I gotta pick them up. I'm trying to figure out how to/if to consolidate my iPod library. I have a 30gb iPod video and my iPhone. The problem is, I don't ride the bus anymore and I don't really walk anywhere so using the iPhone as my iPod as kind of lost its shine. I'm thinking of just ditching the 30 gig and picking up the 120 gb classic to have for years. I only have about 45 gigs worth of music right now. I'm also hoping iPhone update 2.1 fixes some fo the bigger problems with the firmware (I'm looking at you delayed keyboard when texting, dropped calls, and lower then usual call volume!) But the headphones are what I have my eye on the most here.

I know you guys are all high on McLovin but Tamdan isn't exactly chopped liver. He wasn't even 21 when he made his UFC debut and subbed Spratt (meaningless, I know) but he didn't wilt under the pressure of his debut against a veteran despite not even being old enough to go out drinking after the fight. He was clubbing Gono and in my opinion easily won round 1 before got got caught in the armbar (rookie mistake) and then he pretty much dominated Luke Cummo his last time out. He's doesn't turn 22 until a week or so after this fight against Hazelett. Tamdan's main problem right now, in my opinion, is his camp. Team Bomb Squad isn't exactly the highest of caliber and I've mentioned this before but one of Tamdan's main instructors also was my boxing/muay thai coach while I took them as a gym class at college and I don't know... I never envisioned him as a successful trainer. He always sort of reminded me of Rex from Napoleon Dynamite. I still like Hazelett but it's not like Tamdan is going to get embarrassed or anything. At least I don't see it shaking out that way.

Thinking about it though... what a shitty way to die. And 100% voluntarily too.
-
I remember the original story where he said that he's going so deep into the desert that he might die and that he needs to be 100% prepared because any small mistake could ruin him. I wouldn't be even remotely shocked if it were him. By the way, the guys posting in the comments on that thread are "oh my god the room is spinning" levels of pathetic.

Tamdan spent a little time on his back in the fight, IIRC, but was never even remotely close to being subbed. I can't remember how they ended up on the ground, though. He has a pretty decent guard, but like I said... he's no ground expert so he's probably going to want to stay standing.

Also, he impressed me with his hot wife (not while all pregnant and stuff but on countdown when she was slim she was looking pretty bangin')

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

It's a great fight. Chuck's pushing 40 and Houston will just stand there and trade with him. Someone's getting knocked out. 1) It will be a fight people are interested in due to the higher than normal KO potential (>90%??) 2) If Chuck can't beat a 1-dimensional striker like Houston, he should retire anyway 3) If Houston wins then he's right back on the hype train baby. Choo choo. Granted, Schafer will probably sub him like a bitch next week and then it doesn't matter. -

Better one: Houston Alexander. -
Vince went out to meet with the guy... the shitbag that used to be Drama's agent saw them out and called Ari. Apparently the guy was never interested in Vince... he only got him flown back to lower Emile Hirschs asking price... they ended up signing him to the movie for $2M less than he was asking for. Vince got played.

Anybody else like roll their eyes and think "Eww Pink" whenever she has a new single but by the end you're kind of like nodding your head along with the song because you just can't help it? This highly embarrassing scenario happens to me seemingly every single.

Pretty nice transition premiere to Vince reclaiming his spot as a Hollywood player. The dead fish at the end was easily the best part... "What are you, the godfather?"

Ultimate Fight Night 15: Diaz vs Neer
Mik replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Show kinda looks real weak to me. I want to see if Houston can rebound... he did just sign a new 5 fight deal. Losses or not - dude's got fans and there's always the potential for someone's head coming off (not necessarily his opponents, amirite?)... Also, yeah, the top 2. I'd say Guida by UD and Diaz had better win the main...because 95% of fans have no friggin' clue who Neer is. That's a loss that will hurt in a main. -
Pellegrino/Tavares FOTN is available now on UFC.com.
-
Awesome fight. Battle of the 21-22 year old phenoms (?). I'd say Hazelett's the favorite but it's not open and shut. I think Tamden can do some work against Dustin on the feet... maybe not so much on the ground.
-
Oh man, that's like Gonzaga/Cro Cop levels of KTFO. Game over for Chuck.
-
Man that fight sucked.
-
It's not a controversial decision, in my eyes. The booing is just the racist rednecks booing the non-white guy.
-
Somebody painted the canvas with blood in the prelims.
-
Well, Rashad is only 5'11 and Chuck is 6'3 (I believe)... I think that's what he was getting at.
-
Ack! No prelim results in case it makes air. Already deleted for everyone wondering what the hell I'm talking about but please refrain in the future.
-
I'll be shocked if Dan taps Rousimar.

Oh, no. The hormone part of it. Special K is telling himself, "man, this hormone takes away my appetite" and then boom, he doesn't eat. In the same time, he's consuming essentially estrogen which is going to make him fatter and may even make him sprout man-boobs. Sounds like a winning plan to me!
