That WEC 36 commercial was the best MMA promo I think I've ever seen.

Following a great forums.thesmartmarks.com tradition of Mole and the shadows, I thought this might be a good idea for a thread. Anything you come across on the internets that's of questionable validity, bring it here and we'll discuss if it's real or if someone very skilled made it on their computer. My first submission. My evaluation: I hope that this is fake, but I can't really see any evidence as to how/why. This is some terrifying shit.

Lindland/Belfort at this card for some type of middleweight title. Can't be WAMMA or that would be a farce. Fedor makes sense because he's #1 heavyweight but no one but Anderson Silva could be the WAMMA middleweight champion. Either way... Rampage criticized his behavior on the show and after Quentin's little incident they asked Jesse his opinion and he said something to the effect of "what goes around comes around". Apparently that made Dana furious.

Jess Taylor was released by the UFC... his comments about Rampage were what most likely sent him out the door. And Roger Huerta is speaking out against the UFC and the payscale in the (excellent as always) FIGHT! Magazine cover story. I've probably mentioned it 5-7 times in this forum already but everyone here should subscribe to this magazine. I read it cover to cover every month and they always have oustanding work in there. Jayson Stark saying that the Sox/Marlins deal is dead and Will Carroll is saying it's been sent to the commissioner for approval. Who knows. What I do know is that the Marlins just won their series with the Mets to move 1 back of them but most likely 1.5 back of the new division leading Phillies.

I have no idea what to make of any of this. If we lose ANY of the following: Chris Volstad, Ryan Tucker, Matt Dominguez I will be HORRIFIED.

If it's Willingham then get it done even if it's not exactly what the Marlins need. If it's Hermida then I don't like it. Manny doesn't solve the Marlins problems and it's not worth Hermida.

No hitter broken up after 8 1/3. I don't know what Met fans think, but I personally think that I'm Keith Hernandez is a damn fine color man. He always compliments both teams, he's fair and biased and not at all a homer. He might be my favorite road color guy to listen to.
