Wash U. has scored above 80 points only once all year. UNC has scored 90+ nearly 30 times. People seem to be worried about the game tonight for some reason but I keep coming back to that stat. Their D isn't THAT good.

Crunkilton vs. Gomez was a hell of a fight. Easily the fight of the night. WEC has something decent in Stann. All the pub with the military stuff and they have been building him up as a big deal since their very first show on Vs. It all paid off for them tonight. Hopefully they can capitalize on it a bit and get some attention from having him as a champ. Another good card. -

Not having Mir do the post fight interviews any longer is one of the greatest decisions that any MMA promotion has made in recent memory. Despite being a fairly competent color commentator, he just could not do a post fight interview to save his life. This new guy is actually pretty good at it, too. I really like how the WEC does the superimposed fake staredown in the prefight video pieces. It looks real enough and it's actually pretty cool. I like their presentation in general. And yeah - Hicks was a beast tonight. So was Steve Cantwell. -

None of the new albums hitting recently have really caught my attention. Everyone's gushing over Panic at the Disco, and while it's not really my thing I gave it a listen. There's a few decent tracks on there but I can't imagine I'll be listening to any of it in a few months. I loved The Kooks' first CD but this second one is pretty friggin' awful, although it has one or two good tracks on there. I just keep coming back to Lust Lust Lust by the Raveonettes.

Lytle's opponent is Koscheck. Let's see if Josh really wants to try and test his hands. -
Some speculation that the man in the hospital next to Michael is Alvar Hanso. I can't tell.

Some interesting bits of news floating around this morning. Fedor may be on the verge of signing with EliteXC to a 4 fight deal that would put him on two of the CBS cards and two PPVs. Also: Cote vs. Big Dog is on the Griffin/Rampage undercard. That fight has potential. Cote is already saying he doesn't fear Almeida's jitz. -
Apparently that was a different actor playing Walt last night. I certainly didn't notice. So who does everyone really think dug of all the bodies in Thailand... Ben or Widmore?

Horrible shot selection with the 1 point lead, ole defense to give up the lead and then an awful turnover. What a gag job. Fuck.

Scott Smith/Robbie Lawler is the co-main for the first EliteXC CBS card with Kimbo vs. TBA in the main. Hell - I want to see that fight. Scott Smith is a damn entertaining brawler. -
Belmont is blowing my mind right now.

Cornell looks nervous. I'm so used to watching UNC games that I keep expecting Cornell to get the rebound and just run the floor but then I remember that I'm watching Cornell. In 7 years here I've never attended a single basketball game. I did get my diploma on the basketball court, however.

Another thing I noticed is that you're actually getting the TV ads this year on the stream (I think that's new?)... combine that with the web ads and they are theoretically getting double the ad revenue...although that's probably not true in reality. And the web banner ads are synched with the tv ads. They put a lot of time into this.

The quality is amazing. They are really serious about growing the tournament presence through MMOD. Both this and MLB.tv have grown by leaps and bounds in the technology department.
-
I'm most looking forward to Cornell/Stanford opening round, for obvious reasons. But MMOD at work without ever having to click the "boss" button will be nice tomorrow and Friday.

I thought the premise of the episode wasn't funny but there were tons of great one liners. "In conclusion..spearchuckers." The last Britney watch was more like "Britney woutch!" and I was dying at the pronunciation.

1) Wellisch never really being impressive and not having fought in 8 months 2) Video clips I've seen of Carwin on the internets. He appears to be quite a beast. 3) Everyone who knows more than I do calling him a future heavyweight champion. Now - granted, they could all be wrong about him but I feel like Wellisch is kind of a "feed to the wolves" move here. I wouldn't even call him a gatekeeper, unless he's gotten a lot better in the past 8 months.

Look out. 169 "Britney's New Look" March 19, 2008 1202 When the boys help Britney Spears get to the North Pole, they discover the shocking secret behind her popularity.

Pretty standard generic promo video but it hypes me up. I can't wait for BJ/Sherk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjkfJKSZoiQ We can't imbed videos anymore?

Popick's rant on that first page is golden. Also there's this: "Let me put it this way... either he goes or I go." We need more of that.

Every time I throw up... all the capillaries in my eyes just burst. I see stars for about a minute and then I look like a raccoon for a few days. Except instead of shady eyes, my entire eyes are just surrounded by red specks. Does this happen to anyone else? I must have eaten something bad this afternoon and ended up throwing up my entire lunch. My eyes are a mess.

It's easy to say, well... it's not Aaron because he wasn't alive when the plane crashed. But if there were six survivors, the people on the news wouldn't say..."Ok, here's the Oceanic 5 plus this baby here." So, I'm guessing it is Aaron. I also think Locke is ANYTHING but presumed dead. It's been widely reported that season 6 is them going back to the island. I have no doubt that Locke will be fully entrenched as the boss of the island by that point.
