Did Moe say that on the Simpsons? I've had the same name basically for six years now. I just dropped the "at Cornell" after I outgrew my elitist asshole phase that lasted approx. 2-3 years. After May I never want to Ithaca, NY again and will probably only speak of where I went to school when it can directly be of benefit. I've grown to really hate it here after 7 years.

I'm already well aware that I am the music folder thread killer but someone has to have an opinion on Okkervil River. Every indie publication/blog/what-have-you gushed all over this when it came out. And just to make a salient point for this bump - I've had "Ready for the Floor" by Hot Chip stuck in my head for a few days now.

Wow. This is just so amazing right now. Sayid as a hit man was awesome in and of itself (murder on the golf course!) but the fact that he works for Ben to "protect his friends" is so mind-blowing. I'm so glad we're going to end up with nearly a full season.

Ok - these are outright lies. Last year - season 6 had an amazing four episode premiere and then managed to be pretty terrible for the other 20 episodes. But seasons 1-5 are all damn good. Season 4 with Habib Marwan and Season 5 with the shady white house dealings were both awesome.

Kotz is one of maybe two or three people in the history of this board that I've ever legit felt sorry for. Not like he was asking for it or anything - but just the combo of his personality and what he looks like, and well, his life is going to suck forever.

Well - what can you say really? That was a very nice display of jiu-jitsu. It's the power of the dirtstache and the mullet. I can't really say that I'm surprised that they are giving Brian Stann a title shot already, but I kinda hope he gets his face smashed in so we don't have to get USA! USA! crammed down our throats at a level that very few would be able to stand. And I was hoping going in to tonight that the Garcia fight would make air... wow, what an impressive display. The final shot was pretty brutal. I have a feeling with another win he'll be fighting Urijah (or Jens...lol).

That Banuelos/Tapia decision was a debacle. I wasn't sure how I felt watching two dudes with male tramp stamps of their name battle it out but they both brought it. But, man, that's inexcusable.

I've sat this season out so far. Am I making a mistake or am I being smart? I've see that they put a whole lot of ringers through.

It's only after repeated listens that I'm realizing exactly why The Stage Names by Okkervil River was so highly ranked on all of the year end lists. I always sorta really liked the first two tracks and I guess I just never gave the rest of it the proper due. It's a really, REALLY good album. What does everyone else think?

So... Carlos Condit has one more fight left on his WEC contract and is thinking of jumping to the UFC. Assuming he beats Prader and whomever his next opponent is, where do you think he slots in at 170 in the UFC? It'd be hard to say, I think. I'd say his first fight should be against someone like Thiago Alves to give him (and us) a good idea of where he fits in right off the bat.

Wow, Al was getting pretty hot towards the end of Step by Step and she's pretty damn hot right now.
