Which do you prefer and why? I strongly prefer Facebook. Probably because I've been in college for 8 years and it's a bit more college oriented. I also grew really tired of MySpace with all of the fake porn friend requests/messages, although I do get amused when guys post messages on those accounts saying stuff like, "What up bootiful, how I know you again?" I also just find MySpace creepy in general. I know some people hated the News Feed but I've loved it from the start because now I don't have to waste time checking friend's profiles randomly if I want to see what's going on or if they have pictures up - I just read my news feed and work from there. I also don't mind the applications very much but I keep my page pretty clean. Easy nod to Facebook for me.

Has anyone here ever encountered an IRL MMA fan that wasn't a total meathead doofus? I sure haven't. Other then my size and bald head, I don't even remotely resemble a meathead. I'm more of a dorky nerd who loves indie music and movies. I vote in - mostly because I don't want to lose one of the more active posters in my folder.

Time travel is not for everyone. I'm not surprised the ratings are falling. A lot of simpletons can't keep up. I read before the season that it will all be rewarded by the middle to end of the season. Charlie dying is a top moment for me. I love that.

I think this whole thing is brilliant on Phoenix's part. I mean, he's totally believable as someone doped out of their mind and when I first saw the rap clips about a month ago my initial reaction was, "Oh man, this fucker is going to die." And now it's all an act? If that's true... amazing.

If you don't know who Christian Shephard is, are you REALLY enjoying this season? It's pretty much just rewarding hardcore viewers at this point. As for listening to Locke, I'll bet everything he's vindicated somehow before the series ends. I believe in John Locke. Ben's freakout was the best. I fucking love Ben. Anyone else think that he lied to Sun? As in - Locke kept his word and told Ben that if he ever saw Sun to tell her that Jin is dead and to give the ring as proof. Then Ben turned around and gave the ring as a symbol that he's alive because he needed to get her back to the island? It's the little things like that that make Benjamin Linus pretty much the greatest character. As for Rousseau - I got the feeling that she was the crazy one. I'm still not sure if her boyfriend tried to shoot her because he was messed up by the smoke monster or because she had already gone nuts at that point and murdered the rest of the team.

So last week was probably my least favorite episode in the entire series. But this week was back to form. Two decent songs...but Murray stole the whole episode (like usual) - His face when they were watching the TV during the "becoming friends" montage - "Let's take a look at the friend agenda, the afrienda." - "A taste of your own dick medicine." - The color of his hair is electric copper. Just great.

Sorry for not using the quote feature. I mean the time loop theory website that has been posted many times in this thread. At first it looked promising but it's slowly looking more and more batshit insane.

The time-loop stuff dubq posted on the last page shows that the guy writing it up is going off the deep end. Charlie is Charles Widmore and he and Penny keep giving birth to each other in a perpetual cycle is just too much.

Well, the things he says are not at all accurate. I've never heard Patterson rip NJ or anything like that. The way Fred plays the character is dead on, though. Sticking the tongue out a little bit, shaking a little bit, squinting. It cracks me up to no end. Amazingly, we were all talking about the first skit at work last Friday afternoon. That night, I went to a Syracuse Crunch hockey game (AHL) and who was there to drop out the first puck but David Patterson? I asked the people I was with if he would stick around to watch the game before sadly realizing that no, he is not sticking around to watch anything ever. Next night on SNL - sure enough another Patterson skit. Hopefully they don't beat it into the ground but hopefully they can find a way to do it a few more times since our budget in NY is so fucked. Soda tax, iTunes tax, all kinds of laughable new taxes. It's obvious Patterson has no interest in being re-elected so strike while the iron is hot.

Maybe it's because I live in NY but David Patterson is my favorite recurring weekend update character right now. The impression is incredible and dead-on and it's genius.

The problem with the reviews being this late is that I barely remember the skits.
