That's been the WWE formula for a long time. Any Heel not named HHH always loses or gets his ass beat all the time. Every heel has to play the chickenshit heel that can't possibly beat a face clean. They seem to want to send the crowds home happy more than booking something that would do well.

Also for a show that just raped Smackdown there is nothing behind Cena on there.....They take Smackdowns talent make them all jobbers then people say they don't have enough talent. All the while they have no idea how to book anything or use anyone right. Raw is really good about just burying people left and right and then their idea of fixing it is taking more guys from the other shows and doing the same thing. Meanwhile Smackdown just chugs along losing guy after guy but putting on solid shows with more than just John Cena to rely on. MVP/Matt Hardy is an excellent undercard program.....when was the last time Raw had a undercard program that was even decent?

Didn't the people vote for a stadium though? If they did I'm not exactly sure what they can say...

I think casual fans for the most part like Cena, especially in the midwest where I live he never gets booed here. But here's what I'll also say I think he in many ways turns off the age demo I'm in which is 18-34, just with his promos which isn't entirely his fault. When he's out in the ring cutting a promo that sounds like it was purposely written for an 8 year old I'm not going to enjoy him, he called a guy Mr. Crappy Pants...really. A huge problem with the WWE today is they don't want the wrestlers to have any input to their characters at all anymore. They want to write what you say word for word and you go to out there and say it. If you suggest things or actually ad lib you actually get punished for it. They basically want you to do as you are told and that is it. I think a lot of that does come back to the WWE wanting to pick and choose who is over and who's not....for the last several years they've had this severe thing about "we as creative and a company make stars the wrestlers and fans don't have shit to do with it they do what we say" My honest opinion of why ratings are dropping is they took 2 very unlikeable characters to a young male demo and put them against each other in the top Raw feud. There is no one to root for in that match because young males don't exactly like either guy....it probably doesn't help that some of these guys G/F's likely like both these guys. So you get guys going "I'm not even watching this shit especially when my g/f is around the last thing I wanna hear about is how much she likes these guys or thinks they're hot when they're the main program on the show and I hate both of them" In short they put 2 wrestlers who I think come off very poorly to a good majority of the male demographic of wrestling. So those guys have no one to cheer for and said you know what fuck this.

I actually just listened to people on MSNBC blame the city and the Twins for this with comments like. "The infrastructure in that city is screwed up and falling apart, they gave the money to the billion dollar Twins owner for a new stadium instead of fixing the problems" Then they went on and on about how apparently the Twins are more important than fixing bridges and other things in the city falling apart. They kept using the term "billionaire owner" in a really condescending way as if the guy blew up the bridge himself.

She wanted a break from the schedule basically. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up working TNA seeing as the schedule isn't a problem and isn't far from where she lives. She said she was gonna do some other stuff which included acting but she more or less just wanted a break from being on the road all the time. By the way the odds of TNA getting Trish Stratus to sign with them is less than the odds of me banging her so that should tell you something.
-
Yea by the end Edge was back with his wife, from what I understand Edge and Lita are still pretty good friends though.
-
Again, Jeff Hardy = Ratings. Maybe it proves Carlito kills the audience, they put him in the mainevent and well..... Or maybe it proves no one wants to see old mofos like Slaughter and Lawler wrestle.
-
Well I think it's safe to say we'll never see Carlito mainevent again.

Exploratory surgery.......that always sucks. It's not fun when the doctor goes "so I need to insert this scope so I can look in here and see how bad it is. If he has a complete tear he's going to get a real nice scar from that surgery.....
-
Raw is stale that's why the rating sucks.......even if Orton really is going to beat Cena none of the casual fans buy that he will. There's nothing exciting or compelling it's the same old shit every week, paint by numbers basically. If you wanna know why the rating in young males sucks it's because a lot of that group which I'm in doesn't like Cena, it especially doesn't help that your G/F will watch and fawn over this guy you hate.... There's plenty of reasons the rating is dropping.....I guess this should be a clue what happens when you give a long title reign to a man that isn't universally liked especially by an important part of the audience. Then on top of that book nothing compelling or exciting behind him...

They have a Brit wrestler under development named Drew Galloway that I was reading someone describe as "100 times better than SoS so why is he getting the look and not Galloway" what do you think of this? I'm gonna guess you know more about both of them than me.

Yea the person he pissed off was named Stone Cold and his best friend Jim Ross had huge power at the time.....it's kinda funny that it's Jim Ross' fault they had to pay Jarrett that huge amount of money for his 1 night job to Chyna the day after his contract expired.. I guess that's what they get considering he wasn't offered a contract at all because Ross was doing what Austin wanted and getting rid of him.

Dark Match: - Chavo Guerrero LOST to The Unknown Wrestler after a modified Scorpion Death drop, in a dark match. Seriously this was what he was announced as. Unknown had a Gladiator/300 look, and the crowd actually got behind while it was 50-50. Chavo missed a frog splash to give Unknown the opening. His finisher kinda looked like Goldust's finisher SmackDown! Opener: - Teddy Long and Kristal announce the wedding will take place on September 21st on SmackDown. Another resthold and Kane powers out with a suplex. Masters tries to suplex Kane, but Kane reverses it. Kane reaches the ropes and hits Masters with a chokeslam for the 1-2-3 Winner: Kane Deuce & Domino cut a promo on their match against Flair and Batista. Chuck palumbo promo. Matt Hardy vs. MVP - Arm wrestling Match MVP does the stalling and tapes up his hand before taking the tape off, much to everyone's dismay. They finally lock up with MVP with the early edge. Matt gets MVP on the top of the rope and hits a superplex. Matt tries a small package for and running bulldog for a nearfall. Matt hits a side effect and 2nd rope legdrop for nearfalls. Matt goes for the twist of fate, but MVP ducks out and leaves the ring, title in hand. Winner: Matt via countout. - Deuce looks for Cherry and finds her coming out of Batista's locker room. They leave, but Batista walks to the door and Flair opens up laughing and enjoying himself. Noble is backstage and is getting teased by Shannon Punk and Funaki. Promo for Rey Mysterio. Chavo talks about Rey returning to Vickie and Vickie makes Rey vs. Chavo at Summerslam. Another Chuck Palumbo promo Shannon Moore vs. Jamie Noble Noble with the early advantage. Moore gets in some offense before Noble hits his finisher. Khali squeezes the back of Batista's neck as the crowd rallies behind Batista. Batista hits a spear and spinebuster and Khali heads to the back. Flair runs out and hits Khali from behind with a chair, causing the ref to call a DQ. Flair and Batista then pose for the fans. Ah, the old days of Evolution. Chimel then tells everyone goodbye and that they will return to Phoenix in the future. - Sources say the wrestler who beat Chavo Guerrero in the ECW dark match last night was none other than Seamus O'Shaunessy. Seamus, who is from Ireland, was rumored to have recently signed a WWE developmental deal. He has the "gladiator" look that was described in the spoiler report and his finisher, The Irish Curse, is basically a Scorpion death drop as described in the spoiler report. Seamus was described by Jim Ross earlier this year as a "superstar of tomorrow."

Bobby Lashley may be out the rest of the year. He injured his rotator cuff in March and was told at the time that he would probably be able to rehab it and be OK. I believe this past weekend he screwed it up again, so at Raw Monday the decision was made to put Mr. Kennedy over him clean after destroying his shoulder in a match. The feeling at TV was that this was bad and he'll probably need surgery, which would put him out of action likely until 2008. We don't know for certain, though, as he was scheduled to meet with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham on Wednesday (day after we went to press) for a full evaluation. For those wondering, I would not classify this as a steroid injury. Plenty of athletes who have never taken steroids, including many gymnasts and wrestlers, have torn their rotator cuff. Edge underwent his pec surgery last week under Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham. As it turns out, the injury was far worse than expected and he'll be out of action close to six months. It was believed to have been a partial tear, but instead the tendon had separated completely from the bone. “I didn’t think that the tear would be as significant as what we found when we went in," Andrews told WWE.com. "Initially, we had thought it was a partial tear, but it turned out to be much more significant – the injury could have been career-threatening if not properly repaired". Rene Dupree was fired this week. He'd failed a few Wellness tests and had also been in and out of rehab. Bad month for that. Apparently he'll be fine. His father Emil was heavy into real estate and Rene, although only in his early 20s, has already invested in apartments in New Brunswick, plus it is believed he owns places in Louisville and Phoenix. A lot of guys lately have been moving to Phoenix since the real estate market has exploded. It is believed he'll head home and his father will run shows with Rene as a top star, and then in a year or so when (or, more importantly, if) this whole thing dies down, he'll return. Rey Jr. worked some unannounced matches on the road this weekend against Chavo Guerrero. They did the knee injury gimmick based on Chavo putting him out of action last year, and Rey was said to look fine otherwise. They're also doing Batista vs. Khali matches that end via DQ when Finlay interferes, setting up Batista & Kane vs. Khali & Finlay which ends with Dave pinning Dave (Batista over Finlay). It's fascinating that apparently Dave vs. Khali is so bad that they can't even have them do extended singles matches on the road, yet they expect them to do an extended singles match on PPV. OVW ran their biggest Six Flags show of all time on the 27th, featuring an appearance by John Cena defending the WWE Title and Jerry Lawler vs. KC James, and it was a disaster -- and when I say disaster, I mean a NATURAL DISASTER. It rained like a mother, a torrential downpour, and ultimately the show had to be cancelled. They managed to run through most of the major matches, including Cena's win over Shawn Spears to retain the title. Spears, who is said to be the best in the company outside Cody Rhodes, had won a battle royal on TV to get the shot. Cena worked in the rain, with the ring slippery as fuck, and hit the FU for the pin. Say what you will about Cena, but this was above and beyond the call of duty for a guy of his caliber, particularly when you consider the dangers of trying to wrestle on a slick canvas. Despite the rain it was still the biggest crowd in OVW history. They did a Divas scramble match that ended with Beth Phoenix pinned Nattie Neidhart. Harry Smith & Teddy Hart beat TJ Dalton & Jamin Olivencia (of Derby City Wrestling and the OVW intermediate class, getting a shot on the bigger show). Lawler beat KC James, who came out with Kenny Bolin and MINI B~!, his midget sidekick. They changed this to a no-DQ match, so Lawler got the pin with his piledriver, which is, in fact, still banned in Ohio Valley. Lawler clobbered Bolin with his briefcase and then punched the midget for good measure. At this point they were forced to stop the show, so at least they sent the fans home happy with a babyface win and Bolin and his crony being embarrassed. There was a report on the Internet that Teddy Hart was rubbing people the wrong way in OVW already. I was told this week by one source that he was actually on his best behavior, and another source in the company said that any heat he had isn't "bad heat" (meaning, no one in management is upset with him), but rather jealousy by the other guys because he's a Hart, has a great body (he's jakked to the gills), and is an amazing athlete. Steve Austin is selling his four-bedroom Malibu mansion for $3.9 million. He still has a ranch in Texas and is getting another place closer to LA since he's still doing film work. Naturals may get a WWE tryout match on September 17th. Kennedy on the Tom Greene show talked about being hired. He said he had a dark match with the company one day and Daivari, a friend of his, told one of the agents to watch it. Afterwards, the agent came up to him and said he was going to try to get him a job. So Ken turned his phone on and answered every single call for six months. Nothing from WWE. One day Daivari called and said the company had just hired seven or eight guys. Kennedy was devastated, thinking he'd missed his chance. On a whim, he called Tommy Dreamer and said, "Hi, this is Ken Anderson from Green Bay." Dreamer said hold on, and put him on hold. Ken said he'd never done that before. So Dreamer came back on and said they'd been trying to get hold of him for several days and nobody had answered. Kennedy said no, I answered every single call. So Dreamer ran the number he had by him and lo and behold, wrong number. So anyway, Tommy got him the job and the rest was history. credit: F4W Newsletter Apparently the reports of Teddy Hart were greatly exagerated....

You don't enjoy the fan reviews? I mean hey it's awesome to go to the WO and read stuff where guys act like it's the worst show ever witnessed and make corny jokes.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
Mecca replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
See things like this and other things that have been pointed out are why I think some people.....like Bix, are a bit over the top in what they say. Like the WWE doesn't do anything, doesn't care about anyone and is the only reason the wrestling business is fucked up. They do more than any other company out there yet for some reason are still blamed far more than any other company by people who actually know this. "It's all the WWE's fault!" -

I did that once :-( Well if you were working for the WWE you'd be smart enough to realize doing that would get you fired right? -

Joey Matthews was essentially fired for this, he was sent to rehab then came back and got fucked up and was fired. Kurt Angle likely can be listed to since he failed a test then refused to go to rehab. -

The WWE covers the cost of surgeries, they even pay if they send a guy to rehab....I doubt any of the WWE guys are highly supportive of a union they are well paid and taken care of..... -
Joey Ryan is back yet again.

Hey now Matt Hardy has a pretty good smark following these days.

Ok here's something I've come across.....he may have been working a benefit show for a friend of his indy wrestler Krazy K or Kirby Mack who was recently injured and needs a surgery. There's some conflicts on if the show was last night or scheduled for September. Take all this for what it is worth but hey may have asked to work a benefit show for a friend of his before being sent home.

Legality? What did he do get busted with child porn or talking to Chris Hansen or something?
