I was thinking of doing fantasy booking for a wwe/f champion carny and real world tag league.I would start from 1987 when they had the most tag teams and do each year up to now.Anyone interested ?

After I got into watching all japan,I thought about how the wwf had enough good tag teams in the late 80s to do their own real world tag league.They had hart foundation buldogs rockers brainbusters demolition islanders rougeous killer bees powers of pain strike force There was potential to have tons of great matches with those teams.A rwtl would have been cool.

IMO,99% would mark out for a hogan/austin match and about 50 % wouldn't admit it.I don't know what has held them back from having the match.Health isn't an issue because in the end they would both roll down in their wheelchairs if the money was good.Money prabably isn't an issue because otherwise you wouldn't see either make any tv appearences like they have over the years.I can see both guys not wanting to job which is pretty ridiculous.Btw,a tag match wouldn't make any sense because then the drawing power of the singles match is lessoned.

If you said they were planning hogan/piper vs rock/austin it would be somewhat believable.I watched the warriar shoot interview yesterday.There is no way this guy will wrestle again.He does not seem like he is all there but he said he would only come back if the payday was ridiculously high.

As much as I enjoyed ONS,bringing back ecw full time was not the answer.In some ways they are doing what I wanted them to do.Learn from the ecw ppv by making their product better.Since ons we have gotten: HHH vs Batista in a really good HIAC match BWO HBK heel turn Matt Hardy worked shoot Jericho in the world title match at summerslam Benoit vs Regal in a great match(minus a few points for being on velocity)

Maybe it is the uncensored version with all of the original music and no bleeps.That is wishful thinking though.Anyone who picks this up will have to pass the information along.

All I know after reading that thread is that Barry Windham was Gangrel.

What do they plan on doing with smackdown after next year ?Will they try to get it on usa ? Here is a list of 10 I thinkthey can get rid of. 1.mark henry-there is no use for this guy 2.funaki-there are other cruiserweights and funaki adds nothing 3.kenzo suziki-I forgot he was even on the roster 4.miss jackie-they have too many divas,they will have to include at least one. 5.scotty 2 hotty-decent wrestler but there is nothing for him to do. 6.val venis-another good wrestler but there is nothing they can do with him. 7.ivory-the less divas the better 8.christy hemme-see ivory 9.simon dean-there is no need for him 10.steven richards-if he can't act the way he did in ecw then there isn't much use for him.

I am sure there have been a million topics about this but I am asking anyway. Since I don't have a huge background on puro wrestling I was wondering what was some of the better all japan matches from the 80s.I have seen and love the stuff from the 90s with misawa,kobashi,kawada etc but I haven't seen much 80s stuff.What does everyone recommend ?

One of my favorites is 4/13/98 where austin challenges vince to a match for the first time.It was also the first time wwf beat wcw in the ratings in almost 2 years. another is hogan's promo at batb96.After seeing him as a face forever,it was weird seeing him cut a heel promo. I liked the raw where bret snaps after his cage match with sid.He pushes down vince,starts cursing and blaming everyone for him losing.I really liked brets' character for the few months before he reformed the hart foundation.He tried to be a face then would get jelous for fans cheering austin and hbk. Last I will mention brian pilman's promo where he debut in ecw.I liked that one alot.

I still have never seen the hbk/janetty match.too bad the rest of that dvd sounds so terrible.The one hhh dvd sounds very good considering I heard nothing about it.How come the hhh/cactus match is on so many dvds but there match at nwo00 is ignored ?

is that hbk/janetty match from july 93 the one that got match of the year ?

The only money match left for hogan is against austin,not hbk imo.Both hogan and austin are in no condition to wrestle again and if they were both would refuse doing the job.

I wish they would put flair/voneric cage match from 82 flair/windam from battle of the belts Also,if only they could get footage of dk/tm from japan. I never thought they would release dvds like this.Great job. Here's hoping for a greatest tag teams dvd.

I will give a list of 10 ppvs each from wwf,wcw.These are ppvs I like but not necessarily for everyone.The only noteworthy ecw ppv is barely legal imo and that doesn't stand the test of time. In no order WWF WM17 The best workrate ppv ever imo RR00 Great workrate with a good rumble,the debut of taz,the first tables match in the fed and the awesome streetfight WM8 2 great title matches and the surprise return of the warriar.I don't know if it still holds up but it is still one of my favorites. Summerslam 98 good ladder match and main event. WM10 2 of the best matches the company put on.Might be a 2 match show but they were 2 really great matches Survivor series 96 Bret-Austin is a classic and had 3 other solid matches. JD00 I don't remember anything bad on this show.The ironman match and ic title matches were especially great.Everyone has noted that you can put 6 ppvs from that year on the list WM3 A 2 match show.one for being a classic and one for historic reasons Canadian Stampede 4 matches.All were good. One Night Only I don't know how many have seen the full ppv but it is really good.bret-taker is worth going out of your way to see.UT best match not involving a cage. WCW GAB89 Many great matches.wargames,flair-funk,sting-muta were all good. Wrestlewar 92 The best wargames match ever,a really good steiners match.I like this one more than 91. Spring Stampede 94 I thought most of the matches were at least solid.The street fight and flair/steamboat were the best. Slamboree 94 The rematch to the street fight the month earlier was awesome.several more decent matches makes this a good ppv imo. Spring Stampede 99 A great ppv at a time when wcw wasn't putting on many good shows. Beach Blast 92 Maybe I'm the only one who thinks so but I thought this had some great matches. sting/cactus,steamboat/rude and steiners/mvc were all great matches. GAB96 Some have already questioned why this was on the list but I thought it was good. BATB 96 The more important ppv for obvious reasons.It also had rey/psichosis and a good malenko/disco match. Starcade 95 I liked the world cup idea.and the triangle match was pretty good.I am running out of ppvs to list. SB3 Sting-Vader and Benoit-Scorpio were great matches and the rocknroll/heavenly bodies match was pretty good.

I didn't see the ppv but I will be seeing it by the end of the week.I am wondering how it was.Does anyone want to give there match ratings ?

I was wondering if everyone should post here during the ppv or the site where you post the oao raw thread.There have been so many times where the board would freeze on me because there is so much activity.My suggestion is to be ready to post on either board just incase.
