On second thought,I should have put the tlc feud higher for the reasons listed.As far as hhh/hbk not being higher,aside from the start of the feud in 2002,I found much of it to be pretty boring. 40. HHH VS CHRIS BENOIT HHH usually buries the opponent in his feuds but benoit was treated different. Many didn't expect benoit to win the belt at wrestlemania and fewer thought he would hold onto it for more than a couple of weeks.I don't even think hhh got his win back from benoit.I'm sure many will disagree but I liked this one. 39. BRET HART VS BOB BACKLUND This definately didn't go as planned.Backlund wasn't expected to get over.He did get over though when he snapped after losing a title match to bret.The crazy old man gimmick worked to perfection.Strangely,he talked about being screwed out of the wwf title,saying he never quit and his manager threw in the towel for no reeason.This led to a great old school match at survivor series.A very underrated match by some.It could have led to a title rematch if they didn't job backlund in 8 seconds and ruin his credibility. 38. THE ROCK VS HULK HOGAN The match that showed that hogan still had it.While it only lasted a little while,hogan became the most over guy in the company after this match,getting standing ovations.The build up,while silly now,worked to perfection.When they had the face to face confrontation following no way out,you knew it was money.Of course it led to the rock getting run over with a truck which is stretching reality about as far as you can.This would have been higher if the weeks following that had been more memorable. 37. HHH VS CHRIS JERICHO This is for the 2000 feud,not the 2002 disaster.In 2000,jericho was insanely over as a new talent.I think this started from jericho using stephanie as part of his pre match jokes.One great memory I have that is forgotten about is when Hhh gave jericho a title shot on raw.Jericho won the match and was named the new champion.Then in what I think is awesome heel work,HHH threatens earl hebner into changing his decision."IT NEVER HAPPENED"is what he told hebner.So the belt is taken off jericho and given back to hhh.It eventually led to a last man standing match that was one of the many highlights of the year.HHH won the match in a photo finish.He beat the count at 10 and collapsed a few seconds later.Sadly,jericho didn't break through the glass ceiling after this which is a shame. 36. SHAWN MICHAELS VS RAZOR RAMON Scott hall was always considered a mid carder.After having one of the best matches in company history,he was a star.The build up,while not bad,was rather weak imo.Shawn had been stripped of the title in 93.Ramon won the belt after winning a battle royal and beating rick martel.Hbk came back with his belt saying he was the real champion.They decided to have a unification match in the "first" ladder match.The match is one of the most memorable of all time.After typing all of that,maybe this should be higher.It is a flawed system people.lol.

45. RIC FLAIR VS HULK HOGAN/RODDY PIPER "What are you going to do Hulk Hogan when Ric Flair runs wild on you ". This had awesome build up but there was one huge flaw to this feud.There was never a major tv or ppv match between flair/hogan.It prabably shouldn't make the list but the build up was huge.Bobby Heenan holding the wcw title talking about how the "real" world champion was coming to the wwf.Maybe it has lost its impact but in 1991 the sight of Ric Flair on wwf tv with the wcw title was the biggest story in wrestling.Supposedly hogan/flair wasn't drawing at the house shows but I think they would have done just as good of business if they went with hogan/flair at wm8.Piper got in on this as well.Hogan was involved in a feud with undertaker so they put flair with piper in the meantime.A memorable moment was flair going out to badmouth piper at the announce booth.Piper swings a chair at flair but misses and knocks out vince mcmahan.If there was a major match between flair/piper or flair/hogan,this would be near the top. 44. DUDLEYS VS HARDYS VS EDGE/CHRISTIAN While the tlc matches are the ones remembered,any combination of these teams always produced good matches.It started with a ladder match at no mercy 99.While it is outdated,it was great for the time.Then the dudleys came to the wwf.There first spotlight match was a tables match at rumble 2000.Again, while its outdated,it was great at the time.It led to the first tables/ladders match at wm16.It is my favorite of the tlc matches because it is slower and not rushed.All three teams would feud back and fourth the rest of the year,always giving good matches.While there was a tlc match on smackdown in 01,the end of the feud for the most part was wm17.It was the usual great spotfest. 43. MICK FOLEY VS RANDY ORTON Sorry,I liked most of the build up for this.The whole purpose was to elevate orton to the next level.Did it succeed ?Prabably not but foley tried his best.The wrestlemania tag match was great stuff and the backlash match was very good too.I'm sure all of the orton haters will bash this one but it was a good feud imo. 42. RICKY STEAMBOAT VS JAKE ROBERTS Heel jake was one of the best.What helps is that steamboat can adapt to anyones style and make it work.While the match at the big event was decent,they had a match earlier in the month that was alot better.So good that I included it in my top 100 list.Anything involving jake roberts as a heel was good stuff. 41. HART FOUNDATION VS BRITISH BULDOGS Both teams came in at the same time and automatically put on the best matches every night.Wwe should release more rare house show matches between these two because they were always good.The high point of this feud was when the hart won the belts from the buldogs with help from heel ref danny davis.I don't remember this feud having a blowoff match but it doesn't matter.Everything else was great.

As for the person who pointed stuff out like hogan/piper,snuka/piper,valentine/santana etc...This is 86-2005 and all of those feuds were pre 86 so they won't be on the list.Historical impact played a big part in my decisions,just to let everyone know.Btw,it is not a forgone conclusion bret/austin is #1 even though I said so in my best matches list.OK,here we go. 50. TED DIBIASE VS DUSTY/DUSTIN RHODES This is one that just about everyone won't understand.Imo,the million dollar man was the best heel.Is there anything about him that you would like ?Like it or not,dusty rhodes has always been over with casual fans.What I liked most about this however,was when dibiase had a 10 minute match with the very green son dustin.Dustin lasted the 10 minutes and won the match.It set up a tag match at the 91 rumble.It was the last appearance for dusty/dustin but ended with a great moment of virgil finally turning face after years of being dibiases' bodyguard. 49. TED DIBIASE VS JAKE ROBERTS Like I said above,dibiase was my favorite heel and jake was awesome regardless if he was heel or face.I believe this was set up during the jake/andre feud.I thought they had some decent matches together and a pretty good one at wrestlemania 6.Anything with dibiase from 87-91 was gold imo. 48. KURT ANGLE VS BROCK LESNAR Lesnar was the next monster face to lead the promotion.Angle was thought to be having a possible career ending surgery.The match at wrestlemania 19 was suppose to be one of those passing the torch moments.It didn't work out that way but I still liked this feud.Lesnar could have been the man carrying the company if he didn't leave. 47. HHH VS BATISTA So sue me.I liked it.Batista went from being the guy in evolution who did the dirty work to being the cool heel to being #1 contender to the world title.HHH has had alot of feuds where the opponent points out how great the game is and all of that boring stuff.A cool thing with batista is he wasn't built up that way.It helps that hhh jobbed to him 3 straight times.The matches weren't very good but I did like the hiac match. 46. HHH VS SHAWN MICHAELS I don't think there matches were as bad as people say.I liked the storyline going into the summerslam match where they played up hbks back injury and how he would be able to wrestle.That match doesn't really stand the test of time but it was good then.The match on raw was very good.The hiac match was not as bad as many have said but could have benefitted from 10 minutes being cut out.Then there is the wrestlemania 3 way which is still a great match. Some will argue but I liked most of this feud.

The 50 fueds will be next.This is from 86-2005 so hogan/piper doesn't qualify.I haven't even seen much tna or roh so I am not the one to make a list for that.As far as japan goes,Ive seen tons of 90s all japan but thats it.The ajpw stuff from that time period though is top notch imo.Any other thoughts on the wcw list before I start the fueds list ?

WARGAMES WRESTLEWAR 92 The wcw match of the 90s and imo it's not even close.This was the blowoff to the fued with the dangerous alliance.It helps that I like 8 of the 10 guys in the match.Nearly everyone is bleeding by the end.This was the last great wargames match before it got watered down.Glorified violence at its best. 4. WARGAMES GREAT AMERICAN BASH 87 Some may prefer the match above but imo,you can't beat the original.Next to the royal rumble,this is my favorite gimmick match.It also involves alot of average wrestlers and plays to their strengths.Dusty,koloff,road warriars,none of which are good workers,were made to shine in this match.The best idea dusty rhodes ever came up with. 3. RIC FLAIR VS KERRY VONERIC 12/25/82 For those that have seen it,this is a pretty famous match.A cage match with michael hayes as the ref.I would put voneric fourth on the list of flairs best opponents but this one outshines even most of flairs best work.It also led to the famous voneric/freebirds fued but that is more of a world class thing.Regardless,this is a must see for any wrestling fan. 2. RIC FLAIR VS BARRY WINDHAM BATTLE OF THE BELTS 2 Another match where I'm unsure how many have seen it.It prabably should have been on the flair dvd but vince might not own the footage.A bad ending but the match is so good that you can't really take points off for it.Some will complain about me putting flair matches over some of the late 90s wcw but I just can't see putting anything ahead of this.It's that good.On second thought,there is one match that is better than this. 1.RIC FLAIR VS RICKY STEAMBOAT CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS VI As if there was any doubt.This is the best north american match I have ever seen.It's not easy to watch a 60 minute match(56 minutes) without getting bored once.They don't resort to pointless brawling.They wrestle.They use some very clever holds and counterholds to keep you into the match.I can go on forever about this one.Have there been better matches than this ?Most likely but I haven't seen them.This is in a class by itself.

10. RIC FLAIR VS RICKY STEAMBOAT CHI-TOWN RUMBLE A little shorter and the most fast paced match in the series.I think it has a much better flow than the wrestlewar match.This looked like it was going to be the match of the year.However,there were better things to come in 1989.A classic match and a must see for any flair or steamboat fan. 9. RIC FLAIR VS TERRY FUNK GREAT AMERICAN BASH 89 Insanely underrated match.The i quit match gets all the praise but I liked this one much more.A wild brawl for the time.This was more of a terry funk match than it was a ric flair match and it stands out because of it. 8. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS VS FANTASTICS CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS 1 While the wwf was putting everyone to sleep with wrestlemania 4,these two teams were putting on the match of the year.This is not the typical 30 minute tag match with long heat segments and slow spots in the match.It was a fast paced match with lots of brawling.Cool spot where eaton buldogs rogers ona table.This was before tables were used.Must See match. 7. ROCK N ROLL EXPRESS VS IVAN KOLOFF/KRUSHER KRUSCHEV 7/9/85 Many prabably haven't seen this.It's a 40 minute match where the rock n rolls win the belts.They get a miracle performance from the russians.Weird that robert gibson plays face in peril for most of the match.It worked though.If you like old school tag wrestling then you have to see this match. 6. RIC FLAIR VS BARRY WINDHAM 1/24/87 This is on the flair dvd.Remember when wcw had 45 minute tv matches on their worldwide show.This was the best one.Windham was at his best around this time and his best matches were against flair.When flair went against someone who was on his level,you got great results.One of the best tv matches ever.

Since there are only 10 left,give some thoughts on the list.What you liked and didn't like about it.Next I will be doing the top 50 wwf fueds since I already have them listed.Then I will do the 50 best ecw.

15. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS VS FANTASTICS 4/88 I either saw this match on a shoot interview tape or on one of the crocket years tapes.This is where the fantastics win the u.s. tag belts.A classic 30 minute match.The midnight/rock n roll fued had more heat but I really think the midnight/fantastics had better matches.This match is extremely rare.Awesome tag match. 14. WARGAMES WRESTLEWAR 91 It's wargames.What's not to like.A bloody,violent,brawl when the wargames matches were still great.It's not the best wargames match but it is still one of the best matches of the 90s.I will add that pilmans' head bounced off the roof of the cage thanks to a botched powerbomb from sid. 13. BRIAN PILMAN VS JUSHIN LIGER 12/91 This is another match that is extremely rare.You can only see it if you have the handheld which unfortunately,I no longer have.I saw the superbrawl match and wondered why it was hyped so much.I later saw this match and wondered if people got the two matches mixed up.This is the one that should get all the praise.I believe it's also the introduction to jushin liger.Wcw didn't have much going for them around this time and when liger came in he immediately looked like the best worker in the company.Wcw fans shouldn't have been surprised because they saw the same thing two years earlier with muta.If you can find the match,check it out. 12. RIC FLAIR VS BARRY WINDHAM CROCKET CUP 87 One of flairs' best opponents was barry windham.This was when windham was still a great worker.Another match that is pretty rare.We are really getting into flairs' best work now.Unlike their matches in 93,94,these two put on some classic matches in the 80s and this is one of their best. 11. RIC FLAIR VS STING CLASH OF CHAMPIONS I After this match,a new star was made.Sting didn't win the match but he didn't have to.He was made to look like flairs' equal in this match and it worked.A classic 45 minute draw and one of the best tv matches you will find.These two wrestled each other a million times but they never reached the level of this match again.

20. VADER VS CACTUS JACK 4/17/93 This match is on the foley dvd.I am sure most don't think this belongs anywhere near the top 20 but I do.Vader works incredibly stiff in this match.Foley said he told vader to work stiff.Brutal stuff here.The angle the next week was pretty good also where cactus took a powerbomb on the floor and was taken out in an ambulance. 19. RIC FLAIR VS RICKY STEAMBOAT WRESTLEWAR 89 Normally I wouldn't have to defend ranking something too low when it is in the top 20 but I guess I should here.This is not the greatest match of all time like some have suggested.I actually think it is the weakest of the 3 matches.Having said that,this is amazing and the last match in their 89 series.Steamboat always took flair to a higher level. 18. RIC FLAIR VS TERRY FUNK CLASH OF CHAMPIONS IX Another match I likely will have to defend as being too low.Yes this is awesome stuff but I don't think it is their better match.Funk was another one who got the best from flair.This was when funk was able to brawl and wrestle with the best.It shows here as its not the usual flair formula match.1989 was such a great year for the nwa. 17. RIC FLAIR VS LEX LUGER STARCADE 88 The best match lex luger has ever been in.Flair had great chemistry with luger and made people think luger was a pretty good wrestler.As we know,luger is average at best but you wouldn't think so watching this match.This one is clearly the best in the flair/luger series.It might have been higher with a better finish. 16. TULLY BLANCHARD VS MAGNUM TA STARCADE 85 This should be no surprise.This match was ahead of its time.A sick,bloody,I quit match.They really do everything to get the other to quit.If you haven't seen it,find it and watch it.This is the best match ever on a starcade show.How does magnum get tully to quit ?By sticking a piece of a chair in tullys eye.Would you quit if someone did that to you ?I think so.

I think they are more than just well done garbage matches.These two matches are about 50 times better than any brawl from ecw.I expected everyone to bash these two matches.I still stand by my opinion.

25. RIC FLAIR VS KERRY VONERIC 10/85 Same rules as the mid south matches.It involves the nwa champ so it qualifies. Kerry voneric was one of flairs' best opponents.They always had great matches together.This one is pretty rare but you can find it somewhere through trading.It was a 60 minute draw from hawaii that played only on the financial news network.Their second best match together.This is one of flairs' better matches. 24. CACTUS JACK/MAX PAYNE VS NASTY BOYS SPRING STAMPEDE 94 This one will prabably have some shaking their heads.This is one of the best street fights I've ever seen.This is also a very realistic brawl.Street fights aren't meant to go 45 minutes like the hhh/hbk hiac match.This goes 10 minutes which is about how long a street fight should last.All four work incredibly stiff here.Brutal stuff. 23. CACTUS JACK/KEVIN SULLIVAN VS NASTY BOYS SLAMBOREE 94 Take all of the things I said in the previous match and apply them here too.The reason I rank this ahead is because the faces won the belts and we get one of the coolest post match beatings I can remember.I guitar shot to sags.A hockey stick across the face for knobbs.Awesome brawl. 22. RICKY STEAMBOAT VS RICK RUDE BEACH BLAST 92 Rick rudes' best match.Some say there were too many falls but that is a very minor point.The psychology here is awesome.Rude injures his ribs in the opening seconds and it becomes a focus point for much of the match.One of the best matches of the 90s. 21. RIC FLAIR VS HARLEY RACE STARCADE 83 Harley was great in his day.Maybe a little slow but great wrestling otherwise.Flair dominated the 80s and this was one of his better matches.It is also a pretty historic match if you care about that stuff.If you haven't seen it,check it out.

I will be doing the best wwf/e fueds list next,then the ecw list since I have the first one put together already. 30. EDDY GUERRERRO VS REY MYSTERIO HALLOWEEN HAVOC 97 I get the feeling alot of people just read the match placement for this match and turned off their pc's in disgust.I loved this match.It was great stuff.It wasn't however,one of the greatest matches of all time imo.The ending was too predictable also.Still,this is an easy recommendation and something everyone would prabably like. 29. REY MYSTERIO VS PSYCHOSIS BASH AT THE BEACH 96 You read that right.I like this more than the match above.This is the first time I ever saw a rey mysterio match.Unbelievable stuff.This is on par with rey/eddy imo When I saw the finish to rey/eddy I said "hey,they took that from rey/psychosis".The second best ppv opener ever. 28. CHRIS BENOIT VS DEAN MALENKO HOG WILD 96 This was the crowd from hell.I don't see how you can't appreciate the wrestling in this match.I've seen benoit/malenko from japan and wasn't impressed.This was a 30 minute technical classic.Bad ending and no crowd heat hurt it a bit but that is the only fault I have with the match. 27. STEINERS VS STING/LEX LUGER SUPERBRAWL 1 I usually talk about great tag formula.There was no formula to this tag match.I mean that in a good way.Two babyface teams destroying each other for 15 minutes.This was all action.The steiners were at their best around this time. 26. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS VS SOUTHERN BOYS GREAT AMERICAN BASH 90 The midnight express listed for a match from 1990.What a surprise.I think cornette called this their best match ever.It isn't but it's one of their best.The southern boys held their own here too.Maybe because tracy smothers was a pretty good worker.Anyway,this was easily one of the best matches of 1990.

Unfortunately chaosrage,There isn't enough ecw matches I liked to even do a top 50.I will be doing a top 50 wwf/e fueds of the last 20 years when I'm done with this list.Any thoughts on fueds that should be included other than the obvious ones ?

I could go into detail about the placement of those matches but I don't want to give away what is ahead. I was either going to do an ecw list next or I was thinking of doing a list of the top U.S. fueds of the last 20 years.What would be better ?

35. RIC FLAIR VS BRUISER BRODY 2/11/83 Well,this is a very rare match that not many have seen.If I remember correctly,this is a 60 minute draw.Someone said brody was going to make sure he didn't have the same kind of match flair had with everyone else.He didn't and the match stood out because of it.Highly recommended if you can find it. 34. STING VS CACTUS JACK BEACH BLAST 92 Foleys' fued with sting got him noticed.Before this he had an awesome indy fued with eddie gilbert but few saw it at the time.This was great stuff on a great ppv.Wild match here as it's falls count anywhere.Just the way cactus likes it.There's something about mick foley and street fights that just go together. 33. CHRIS BENOIT VS KEVIN SULLIVAN GREAT AMERICAN BASH 96 Yea,it's the bathroom brawl.This gets tons of points for being original.This may not be the technical 5 star classic,but it's tons of fun and one I can watch over and over.They are really stiff here.Pretty cool at the ende where benoit pound sullivan after the match.Arn stops him and decides,NO,let me kick him.I will add that we get the famous quote from dusty "There's a lady in the mens bathroon.There's a woman in the john right here at great american bash." 32. STING VS VADER GREAT AMERICAN BASH 92 This is my favorite in the series.I didn't know about vader before wcw so I was expecting a win by sting here.Instead we got a classic vader squash.Sting put vader over huge in this match and vader was a made man afterwards.Highly recommended. 31. RIC FLAIR VS RICKY STEAMBOAT 5/14/94 IMO,the best match ever held on wcw saturday night.I miss the days of 45 minute tv matches just for the hell of it with guys who can keep it interesting for that long.There matches in 94 have a bad name because of their 89 series.If you don't judge and compare them to those matches,what is left is an awesome tv match between two guys who wanted to have one last great match together.Classic stuff here.

40. ROCK N ROLL EXPRESS VS MIDNIGHT EXPRESS 2/2/86 Whenever people talk about great tag matches they compare them to these two teams.This is eaton/condrey.I prefer eaton/lane but it doesn't matter.This is great stuff regardless. 39. BRET HART VS CHRIS BENOIT 10/4/99 If not for this match,you prabably wouldn't remember that bret was in wcw.Bret said he wanted the match to go an hour and bischoff said no.Even at a half hour it is possibly the best match ever on nitro. 38. CHRIS BENOIT/DEAN MALENKO VS RAVEN/SATURN SPRING STAMPEDE 99 Benoit/malenko made a great heel team.As I've said before,raven was underrated in wcw.This has always been a favorite of mine. 37. BRIAN PILMAN VS JUSHIN LIGER SUPERBRAWL 2 Everyone made a huge deal out of this match at the time.It isn't THAT good since I don't think it's the best match between the two.As long as you don't set the expectations too high,you will love this match.A new japan type match in the U.S.People who didn't know liger before this match were impressed immediately.One of the best openers to a ppv you will find. 36. ROCK N ROLL EXPRESS VS MIDNIGHT EXPRESS WRESTLEWAR 90 The guys putting on the best matches in 1990 were the midnight express.These two teams wrestled each other a million times and this was my favorite.

CHRIS BENOIT VS EDDY GUERRERRO 10/16/95 This is on the benoit dvd.I didn't see the big deal about their japan matches.This however,was a surprise to me.Non stop for 15 minutes.This was in the early stages of nitro where they let two of their new wrestlers go out and put on a show.Awesome stuff here and no I don't think it's ranked too high. 44. ROCK N ROLL EXPRESS VS THE ANDERSONS STARCADE 86 This is classic ricky morton here as the andersons destroy him for 20 minutes.I never liked ole but I love arn.One of the better rock n roll express matches I've seen. 43. TERRY FUNK VS RICKY STEAMBOAT CLASH OF CHAMPIONS VII This was when funk could still wrestle without the whole match being a brawl.This is forgotten about because of the matches both had with flair that year.Steamboat was at his best in 89 and funk was great also.This is worth checking out if you haven't seen it. 42. VADER/STEVE AUSTIN VS RIC FLAIR/ARN ANDERSON 11/93 I'll bet not many have seen this one.Arn replaced sid in this match and thank god for that.This is a rare match and prabably very tough to find.It's from a 11/93 edition of the saturday night show.Vader/Austin prove to be a good combination.I like all 4 guys and it is 45 minutes of great tag wrestling. 41. RIC FLAIR VS RICKY STEAMBOAT SPRING STAMPEDE 94 Most people don't like this match.I thought it was great.It's not as good as their classics but it's still flair/steamboat and still better than most of what wcw was offering.Weird ending but it doesn't take much away from the match.I saw this before seeing any of their 89 stuff.I thought it was great then and seeing the 89 matches didn't change my opinion on this.

50. DEAN MALENKO VS EDDY GUERRERRO UNCENSORED 97 This is not as good as their ecw matches but it's still great stuff.Whenever dean/eddy were in there,it was going to be a good match.I didn't like the ending but it's a minor fault. 49. RIC FLAIR VS BUTCH REED 8/9/85 Ok,so I am cheating.This may technically be a mid south match but it involves the nwa champion so I am including it.Classic case of flair taking an average worker in butch reed and making him look like a million bucks.This was a 60 minute broadway and a good one.Flair was at his best around this time. 48. RIC FLAIR VS TERRY TAYLOR 6/85 Just like the previous match,since it involves the nwa champion,I am using it.This is available on some tape that I saw.Too bad taylor is remembered for beeing the rooster because he was a good wrestler.The usual great 40 minute match from flair. 47. ENFORCERS VS RICKY STEAMBOAT/DUSTIN RHODES CLASH OF CHAMPIONS XVII This was steamboats' return match.I like the strategy the enforcers use.Work on steamboat since he is rusty and leave the rookie dustin on the apron.That way if steamboat makes the hot tag,they can let dustin make a mistake.They still lost the match but I thought it was something different.Arn/larry were a good team while they were together. 46. STING VS VADER SUPERBRAWL 3 I don't think this is the best in their series like most do but it doesn't matter.Whenever there was a sting/vader match,it was likely to get match of the night honors.They never had a bad match.This is also the best strap match I can remember seeing.

Just John-Just wondering when you started watching wcw.Other than rude/steamboat,everything you list is 96 and beyond.

#2-#4 are interchangeable depending on what day it is since I like them so much.Other than that,my list has always been the same. Rrrsh-what is it about austin/rock that you don't like ?I remember you saying you had hoped austin wouldn't dominate my top 20.Have you read any of my wcw list ?I hope you don't make the same comment about flair in regards to that list.

REY MYSTERIO VS PSYCHOSIS VS BLITZKREIG VS JUVENTUD GUERRERA 4/19/99 Many have prabably forgotten about this match.For the few matches blitzkreig was in,he delivered.One of the best lucha matches wcw gave us.Nonstop for 20 minutes.Awesome stuff for a tv match. 54. BLITZKREIG VS JUVENTUD GUERRERA SPRING STAMPEDE 99 Wcw was rapidly declining in 1999 but this ppv was one of the few bright spots.This was the opening match and it was as good as you could hope for.Juvi was great back then.I have to mention the awesome finisher as juvi gives blitzkreig a juvi driver from the top rope. 53. RICKY STEAMBOAT VS LEX LUGER GREAT AMERICAN BASH 89 This was lugers' best singles match with someone not named flair.Steamboat was great at getting the best out of his opponents.Another great match on a ppv that was full of them. 52. DUSTIN RHODES/BARRY WINDHAM VS MIRACLE VIOLENCE CONNECTION 9/92 I'm unsure of the exact date.This is way better than their ppv match from the tag tournament.Too bad williams/gordy didn't stay with wcw.This was a 40 minute title match that few have seen/remember.Dustin/windham win the belts here.Great tag match. 51. STEINERS VS TATSUMI FUJINAMI/TAKAYUKI IIZUKA WRESTLEWAR 92 Speaking of great tag matches,the steiners go all japan on the japanese team.This was all japan level stiffness in this match.It is a prolonged squash match for the steiners and they do it with style.I know the main event of this ppv is talked about but check this match out too because it is a really fun match.

60. DEAN MALENKO VS ULTIMO DRAGON CLASH OF CHAMPIONS 1/97 This one isn't talked about enough.I like it more than their starcade match.They had a handful of matches around this time and they were all good.This was the best in the series. 59. RIC FLAIR VS RICKY STEAMBOAT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS 5/84 This one is forgotten about by some.It's not as good as their 89 series but it's still flair/steamboat and an awesome match.They can have a **** match in their sleep. 58. RIC FLAIR VS LEX LUGER WRESTLEWAR 90 Flair did a great job at the time of making people believe luger was a good wrestler.Most times flair went against luger,it was automatic ***1/2 or higher.This was no exception. 57. STEINERS VS MIRACLE VIOLENCE CONNECTION CLASH OF CHAMPIONS XIX Better than the ppv match they had the same month.They go a quicker pace since they have a shorter match.The match is better because of it.The steiners were awesome at the time. 56. DUSTIN RHODES/BARRY WINDHAM VS STEVE AUSTIN/LARRY ZBYSKO SUPERBRAWL 2 Very underrated tag match.The bill watts era didn't make any money but it produced some great wrestling.One of the only zbysko matches I liked.
