What's this I read in the Mirror about Southampton liquidizing if they can't cough up £26m by the end of the season? While I'm not a Southamption supporter, it would be a shame to see them disappear off the football radar. After all, they did start Wor (Alan) Shearer's career.

Comments that don't warrant a thread.

I asked Santa for a new Demonoid this Christmas -
haha the guy in the background makes me laugh "Hey, ain't you..."

This is true, I just don't like to admit that I feel older then I am. Damn you TIME, DAMN YOU! But then, I'm only 23, that's hardly THAT old... right?

Obi Chris Kenobi replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I think Steiner has deserved a title shot just for his increased ring work the last few months - though bare in mind I haven't watched TNA since September. If I think of markout moments I've had with TNA they've involved Steiner in someway, he's been a real joy to watch, even if it is only to see a shadow of his former self gain some colour and some fight back. -

I'm pretty sure it was Homer who said that :S -
I would love a Sting career DVD, that would be awesome. Although, the action figure thing is wrong as the wrestlers sign deals with JAKKS for the likeness of figures rather than the WWE. He could have done a legends figure at any time and still can. I'd buy it. What was the deal with Sting almost joining WWE a few years back when Cena wore Sting Facepaint?
-
No, just examples of other stuff that were fads during the same time period. Can't really say Nine Inch Nails or Tim Burton when they're still putting out new material. Didn't Smashing Pumpkins just kick out something new in the last couple of months? I remember hearing something to that effect on Ye Olde Radio. Nothing you didn't hear 10 years ago, infact, its just what you heard 10 years only, you're 10 years older and not as angry, so it sounds shite.

Nah his early TNA work was pretty decent, when he wrestled as Low-Ki, but between 2005-Present, I can't think of any real decent matches he had been in. However, some of the ones mentioned in here have jogged my memory a little bit. I wouldn't say he was totally non-memorable, but I don't think I'll miss him from the roster as much as other guys. Certainly the likes of A1 are far more non-memorable - is that even correct English for the term? Seems almost like an Oxymoron. I think Sneshi just suffered from going through the motions, and I can't really blame the guy as he was totally lost in the mix and ever growing roster. I'm sure he'll do well in Japan or wherever he goes.

So, can anyone actually name and date any memorable Senshi matches in the last 2-3 years?
-
Yeah I had to download an update too, but once I downloaded it (via Xboxlive) things worked fine.

Thank you Microsoft for Divx... weeeeeeeeeeeeee

What's the deal with Enigma copy and pasting everything into every folder he can find, even though its already been posted and discussed? Infact, of his posts, how many of those has he actually typed out letter by letter? Why do I care so much, fucking what's the deal? The Carlito swerve, one day fans loved him the next they didn't, and they never explain why they liked him in the first place
-
Ah well, TNA never really used the guy that much anyway - though, where does XXX go from here?

Remember i was still under shock from what had happened... words just flew out of my mouth... Maybe you should lay down on Dr. Nash's coach.

You don't turn your best drawers into jobbers! They're not "minimal" either because, unlike what some goth boys claim, they're not WWE rejects. They're taking all the BEST wrestlers out of WWE! Do you think anyone care about Triple H and Batista? I don't! I wasn't an Angle fan when he was in WWE, FAR from it, but then it's like he was re-created in TNA and he's incredibly good. He's a 1-man sitcom. Cancel "king of queens" and put Angle in it and you have a winner. And what a PPV it was! PPV-Of-The-Year Aww, I thin you've just jumped the shark with your gimmick. You're trying too hard now, where as before you seemed pretty natural at being the Uber TNA Mark. Shame, it was pretty funny while it lasted I'll still buy your merchandise though.

This show is awesome, the little narrator thing is just like Little Britain - is it the same guy? I'll download the rest and catch the DVD when its out. Ned reminds me of Edward Norton.

Ok, I just downloaded and watched the 1st Episode, and I'm totally hooked. Hopefully it remains this good.

I did. But perhaps you're still right because perhaps a significant portion of general wrestling fans have left wrestling a long time ago when it became bad. What was left of wrestling fans were troll-like creatures like we see here. They're not smart nor marks, they can best be described as "dumb goths", with expressions like "it sucks", "i yawned", "i knew Hall wouldn't show", "don't even argue with this moron"... And watch how they put a constant negative, goth-like spin on everything!!! The only enjoyment i saw in people that were watching the PPV, in chat channels, was at the end when they vandalized the wikipedia web page and saw their false rumor become "food poisoning" and go viral. In fact, their only enjoyment was spoiling the enjoyment of others. In a twist of irony, what is ultimately keeping wrestling from going above, are the fans trolling those who enjoy it. See how this was PPV-Of-The-Year 2007 and it was turned into a "it sucks"??? I don't know... i don't know what happened to the wrestling crowd. I hope this is not representative of anything or of the next generation of wrestling fans!!! <3 Post of the Year candidate. Do you have T-Shirts I can buy?

Oh man TNA, TNA, 2006 seems so far away. 2006, the year that TNA looked promising, fresh and exciting, now we're finishing 2007 and heading into 2008, and TNA seems boring, stale and washed up. I haven't legit watched iMPACT for over a month, just read the reports and fast forward through the shows. Where did it all go wrong? HOW did it all go wrong? There's times I feel that TNA is nothing more then a loud mouth over grown Indie Promotion, but even then, there's Indies out there that deliever each and every week/month (ROH & CHIKARA). Scott Hall smelt like nothing more then a cheap buy rate pop that an Indie show would do to bounce the ticket sales up a little bit. I can't say I'm surprised that Hall didn't show, hell, I even remember someone posting here a few months back that 'Scott Hall should leave the American Wrestling Business alone and stay in PR for his own good'. I couldn't agree more, I like Scott Hall, he's a great worker and an amazing guy, however, whenever he appears in an American Wrestling Promotion it all goes tits up for the guy - one way or another. Or is it when he's just around Kevin Nash? The only good thing TNA has going for them at the moment is the Knockout Division, that's the only thing I can managed to watch every week during my fast forward expedition. Who's booking it? It's so different from anything else that it has to be someone else booking it, its clear, concise and simple. That, and the Girls are really busting their arses off in the ring every week, its fun to watch. So I give LOTS of credit to TNA's Knockout Division, the only saving grace of a pretty piss poor year. I'll download this PPV to see how much of a train wreck it really was. Sad sad sad TNA.

Gamefaq also has the other secret achievements revealed.

Odd, I'm not sure why it hasn't worked then. I do know, however, that the secret achievement that has been bugging everyone has been revealed/found. Destroyed 15 tables and 10 chairs in a TLC match

Try going into the Hall of Fame screen after you've achieved it, I had the same problem after defeating the ECW Crew in the ECW Rules match to unlock Terry Funk. It didn't trigger until I had went back into the Hall of Fame section. Strange.
