I was asking if anyone thought the Cardinals had a chance since a lot of people expect it to be a blowout.

Unless they changed the rules and didn't tell me (or Donovan McNabb) you can only win or lose a playoff game. When there are two outcomes and you're guaranteed one of them then the probability of either one is 50/50. A team can be favored to win, but there's no such thing as an 80/20 chance of victory or defeat. So, you think the 2008 Lions have a 50/50 chance of beating the 2007 Patriots. Anyways, I didn't mean they had a literal 50/50 chance. I mean the game was a real toss up for me. I didn't know I was being judged on my expert analysis here.

The Niners drafting Alex Smith was pretty dumb. I thought system quarterbacks get hated on, yet he doesn't. Is there any news on him? I'm a big Shaun Hill fan (TERPS REPRESENT!) and am wondering if any Niners fans out there can update me on the QB situation there. Are they going to stick with Hill, or try to go after another QB (Cassel? Kitna? Who's really out there?), or try to get something out of Mr. Overpaid Overhyped Smith, or what? Crazy situation. I really think the Niners can win 10 games next year with Hill, though. EDIT - Also, about Cassel, yes, one of my good friends is a Patriots fan, and he was trying to tell me a few weeks ago that Cassel was for real, the team can win with him anyways, why not trade Brady for a bunch of draft picks and good players and keep Cassel, since Cassel was winning games, and the team can be awesome with a bunch of good defensive players they could get if they traded Brady. So, there's always crazy yahoo fans out there.

It's almost time for the big game, so here's what I think. Oklahoma will win. I don't know why I think this way, but I've never totally believed in Florida, and Percy Harvin not being quite 100 percent will affect them more than people think. Oklahoma lost to Texas. Good game from Oklahoma, though. Neutral site. Florida lost to Ole Miss. Good game. Fluke loss. At home. Okay, so throw the losses out. Oklahoma beat better teams than Florida did. Both teams have amazing talent. This is a hard game to pick, but usually these games go to the team that is a SLIGHT underdog, and that's Oklahoma. I say 35-31 OU. I will be completely wrong and this part of what I say will be left out of people who quote me on Friday.

The Titans beat the Steelers, the Ravens, and pretty much every other good team on their schedule, save the Texans (decent team who got hot at the wrong time, as usual) and the Colts (which was probably intentional) Does anyone think the Cardinals have a chance besides me? I haven't read too many people out there thinking that the Cardinals can win, and I think they can. Will they? 50/50. But I think it will be a close game and Arizona can pull it out, depending on if Edge decides to show he can still play or not. I like Arizona's offense better than Carolina's.

It just really bothered me, the whole thing. The interviewer even said some people said Texas didn't deserve to make the BCS. Seriously? I can't think of a single person who said Texas didn't belong in the BCS, and I talk to a lot of college football nuts. Hogan Made Wrestling: LOVE the new sig, man. That celebration cracked me the fuck up last night, even in a lack of insulin, pain-medicine induced groggy sleepy mood.

Notre Dame beat Georgetown last night. I can't figure this season out, but I don't want to. It's a lot more fun this way. 2GOLD: I am really impressed with FSU so far this year OOC. That win over Florida was huge, as was the Cincy game. I got a lot of their games on via the Sun Sports network for some reason, and they're a good team. I think they can go 8-8 in conference play, and with a win in the conference tournament, they should definitely be in. I am worried about them as a Maryland fan, as we'll probably finish with an average record in conference play also, and FSU's non-conference resume is more impressive (we beat Michigan State, but then got demolished by Gonzaga and Georgetown)

I woke up and the game was 17-6, so I got to see the last quarter, and it was a lot of fun. I'm glad most of the bowl games have been good this year. I didn't expect to give a damn about this one (hence falling asleep at 8:30) and it seems like I didn't miss much until I woke up, but great finish. Big 12 = overrated, maybe? Cosby's post game interview was the dumbest thing ever. ALL YEAR LONG NO ONE BELIEVED IN US. Yeah okay.

The Titans are favored against the Ravens. The problem with the Titans is that they have no star power, and they dropped some games they shouldn't have. But yes, they do win the big games, and I think if they beat the Ravens, they'll probably win it all.

Are the Penguins even going to make the playoffs? And I hate this overtime loss thing. It seems like 25 teams have winning records when non playoff teams are 18-17-7 or whatever.

One of the guys on PTI just made a good point. They can sign Marbury, and if he doesn't help any, they can just get rid of him or make him ride the bench. I'm not sure how big of a salary cap they would take off it, but I am assuming the risk would be worth it. He has been an effective player when he actually bothers to try.

Miami's gameplan didn't make sense and Baltimore completely crushed them. Too bad the game wasn't any entertaining, but hopefully everyone saw that the Ravens still have a great D and the offense has improved.

The announcers said it. Miami has been doing that shit all year. Just didn't work at all this time. I have no idea why the Ravens aren't running the ball more, and I better see at least 3 runs on this series.
