It turns out Fred Meyer in my area decides to put stuff up on Saturday at midnight, and sells out 90 within 30 minutes, and I miss out.

That was incredible. I never had doubts, but I never thought it would go like that (even though I was pumping my chest and saying that GSP would take in eight at home, I was just trying to bring people into the positive thought mode). That was just BALLS. Everyone I was with was just laughing at Hughes going down because it looked kinda fakey, and he was having fits at the time with GSP's reach and leg kicks. And the finish was straight out of Chuck-Babalu I. I went absolutely crazy, and t felt like seeing Benoit win the title at WrestleMania XX or Pac-man beating Morales the first time. The heavyweight fight was piss, utter piss. I loved that people were cheering Monson, but the height was just way too much as he couldn't get close enough to get a good shot in and Tim could put way too much weight on him. Sakara looked like trash, but it was pretty fun. VERA BABEEE~! Hondock looked great, as the Tank is someone I've heard of. I feel a big swing toward muay thai coming, as people are going to start shifting toward the knees and leg kicks (Vera and Silva are the start of a wave).

He's still going to lose. But at least he'll look good before he gets his mug caved in by a knee.

Framboise is heavenly and pretty much universally loved and highly rated.

What else is opening next weekend beside Bond?

I think they may be able to spin it into part of Parker's change that allows the symbiote to get in. Rather than a moral responsibility, now Spiderman has changed his motivation to vengeance and power. I think they'll tie it to Harry's quest in that way.

I watch Betancourt everyday, and he has fantastic range and a tremendous arm .He makes tons of highlight reel plays (and makes some highlight reel plays for other shortstops look incredibly easy), but never gets featured. But at this point, he fucks up some easy plays (20 errors, 2nd in the league). I'm not sure whether it's complacency or not. but he does make some mistakes. He'll be an awesome shortstop.
