I'd just add the other ones in, in all honesty. I mean, WWE's taking about 10 days off for the holidays and their title histories aren't going to slow down for them. Why should ours?

If you'e ever shown an emotional reaction to wrestling, you're emotionally attached to it. Whether you were in the building cheering for your favorite superstar...watching TV and yelling "Anybody but Triple H!"...or throwing your remote at the TV saying "What the hell does necrophilia have to do with wrestling?...you're emotionally attached. Some people are emotionally attached to their loved ones, their football teams, or soap opera and moie characters. Some of us are emotionally attached to wrestling. I, for one, salute you Dave, for saying what came from the heart.

Why do I watch? Because I see everything through videotape anymore and can fast forward through the bullshit.

I can't figure out how people can say Shelton doesn't have charisma. This is a guy who, when he was a member of Team Angle, would get on the turnbuckle during his entrance, and when people booed him, he'd look around saying "What the hell" like he couldn't believe the fans would boo him. Little shit like that is forgotten in this day and age, and little shit like that is why Shelton should be a star. But they only let him cut cookie-cutter scripted promos, so obviously he can't be a star. Idiots.

You can't say Benjamin hasn't been grossly misused. He went from having the longest IC Title reign in seven years to jobbing to Carlito. OK, no biggie. But from there, they didn't even blow off the Carlito feud. They had Carlito lose by countout, then DQ, then when Benjamin asks for the no DQ blowoff... He's feuding with Snitsky and Masters. Who the fuck thought that one up? That's out of the Dusty Rhodes playbook. Hell, he's just now getting airtime on Raw again, and they're making him look like an idiot.

Barely 4k. A combination of work and the flu kept me from banging out my usual PPV classic. I think it's a servicable TV match, but even healthy it's hard to write for someone who isn't supposed to be a wrestler, you know?

You know I'm in. Hell, I've got two articles I'm still trying to work on.

The "Hulk Still Rules" 2002 DVD has the WWE logo on it. But the footage is full of unedited mentions of the "WWF" as well as instances of the scratch logo. I've still yet to have given a explanation as to why it matters if the product itself says WWE, but oh well.

On the bright side, I think she's lost weight since that last set of pics of hers got posted.

I actually wrote a paper my senior year of high school about how wrestling was as real as any of the unscripted sports because of the injuries and the athleticism involved. Got an A on it, mostly for going through my videotapes and finding the most violent examples I could to prove my point about the injuries.

To get my CAW to do that, I had to edit him so he was on Raw after doing a season on SmackDown.

JHawk is officially back! From JHawk's Beak: Bits and Pieces Admittedly not my best work, but it's going to take some time for me to get back in the flow of things.

Bam Bam Bigelow-Lawrence Taylor is like the Flair-Steamboat of celebrity wrestling matches. Then you've got the three cage match with Jeff Jarrett, Diamond Dallas Page, and David Arquette, which was like the Oz-Bill Kazmaier of celebrity matches.

While I am going to attempt to write for tomorrow night, there's a strong chance of a rare Jay Hawke no-show. My fiancee just underwent surgery today, which was pretty much my only day to sit back and write, so I've been out most of the day and will probably be running around taking care of her too much to write a coherent match. I will try to show, but right now I'm hoping for Landon to write and put me over so I can pad my record.
-
I've actually got to take some of the blame here. I underwent surgery about two months or so ago, so I took some time off and never informed anybody about it. I'll be returning to writing this week, so there will at least be something else new every week.
-
I was there live. Went over pretty well with me. Not the best ROH show I've ever seen, but I've seen worse.
-
Wait a second. I'm booked and TORU's not in the match? Thank God. The matches have been fun, but this was bordering on Jay Hawke vs. Arch Griffon levels of absurd.
-
See, the main reason I think most of this news is bullshit. Marty Wright was playing the Boogeyman character in OVW already. Wasn't it common knowledge that the character was a Jim Cornette idea?

MAIN EVENT: CAGE MATCH! “The Icon” Max King vs. Bruce Blank© (SWF Ultraviolent Champion) -King. Blank's great with those overly gimmicked matches, but this might be too normal for him. FANTASTIC FATAL FOURWAY El Luchadore Magnifico© (SWF World Champion) vs. Jay Hawke © (SWF International Title Champion) vs. TORU Takahara© (SWF Tag Team Champion) vs. Stryke -No comment other than the winning match is going to steal the show. CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: PURE WRESTLING RULES JJ Johnson© (SWF Cruiserweight Champion) vs. Landon Maddix -I'm assuming this is a co-write, but Landon gets DQ'd because he's still not comfortable with technical wrestling. SINGLES MATCH Akira ‘The Divine Wind’ Kaibatsu vs. ??? -I dunno who ??? is, so Akira COLD FRONT CLASSIC MATCH: TAKE TWO The Masked Crusader vs. ‘Hollywood’ Spike Jenkins -Spike. Is someone actually writing for the Crusader? TRIPLE THREAT MATCH OF MOTIVATION Manson vs. Candace ‘The Joshi Dragon’ Onimura vs. Zyon -Zyon.

Raynor, I hope when you deleted your PMs you didn't delete my match. And damn Toxx for noticing your inbox was full! Nothing against Toxx, but I wanna win this one, dammit.

Braylon Edwards has hurt his knee, won't return today, and I'd doubt he's coming back this season. The kicker to that? Antonio Bryant caught one on the sideline that was called incomplete, and the challenge didn't change the call. Looked like a good catch but too close to change the call. The next play, Edwards gets hurt. You have to wonder whether the call going the other way would have saved Edwards from being hurt.

I thought it was Andre sticking his fist out, w/ Warrior running face-first into it. Considering the spot had Andre's arms tied in the ropes, that don't work too well with the fist. The way I remembered it was Andre punched Warrior as Warrior ran in for the clothesline. Haven't watched the shoot in a while though.

And for every serious suggestion we get, we also get that.

The Horsemen assaulting Dusty Rhodes in the parking lot! Good times, those.

My question at the time (and one I still have) is this: If NBC absolutely had to have the XFL games in time for SNL to start, why give them the 8pm Saturday time slot in the first place? You'd think they'd had NFL games long enough to know better. Wasn't it NBC that showed the infamous Heidi Bowl?
