Do you think the marks will like it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm engaged to mark. She's still insisting this one is real. There ya go.
-
Settle down, Pretz. That would require Johnny actually writing something in time for the show.
-
When you figure out how to have guests on the show, I'll join you whenever you need it.

A few comments on my opening promo: Partial credit goes to Zyon, as I made sure he had a chance to edit my first draft in order to more accurately portray the character. This should be fun. Also, the guy stealing hubcaps from the same car over an hour...true story. I actually saw a guy stealing a car a piece at a time along state route 611 between Willow Grove and Philly.

Just signed in as a pastmancer named JHawk. What the hell.

I'd say Goldberg's World Title reign was a shock only because I expected a DQ or no contest finish. Goldberg's streak would have continued but Hogan wouldn't have had to job the belt off.
-
Eminem and Redman in "Off the Wall" had a Tony Atlas reference. Can't remember the line to save my life though.

Marc Lowrance? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bill Mercer. Marc Lowrance was actually a pretty decent announcer once Mercer left in the late 80s.

Based mostly on the first half of the show since I've only skimmed the second half. No comments about my match, but yay me! Excellent main event on the London half, coming in at over 35 minutes in a straight read. Possible MOTY candidate there. But seriously Toxxic, please don't go! I was looking forward to a feud with you down the line to see if I could actually take you straight up! Congratulations to Marcus Ward, and thank God I didn't have to write that match! A nice touch with the casino brawl with the complete lack of commentary. I also won't spoil the main event and want to actually read it before I comment anyway

A moment I'm sure we'd all like to see the result of. Where's the show, dammit?
-
Sorry to hear about your uncle, man. But you need to tell me things like this before I call you out for being a punkass bitch next time.
-
You could take the time to admit to that, but you couldn't be bothered to show for a PPV?
-
That might be true, Dames, but you have to be online more than once every couple of days to take advantage of that. Does this mean you're changing your custom title to "fuckwithable"?

I don't know. I've never seen [you] post.

It depends. You can get an el cheapo for 20 bucks or so, but if you're looking for something fancy it could run you over 100

SWF Ground Zero word count thread!
JHawk replied to JJ Johnson's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Update: I just got the first fall done and am slightly above my normal TV match average. I've got the rest of the match basically planned out and don't see any reason I can't get between 7 and 8k and still keep the match interesting. -

2580, but I'm still relatively early in the first fall. -

THE LAS VEGAS CARD Las Vegas Main Event - SWF World Heavyweight Championship Match Ejiro Fasaki © vs. Johnny Dangerous If Ejiro's healthy enough to write a full match,I think he takes it. Casino Brawl Landon Maddix vs. Todd Cortez Cortez Lady Luck is a Bitch - House Rules Match for the SWF Hardcore Championship Zyon © vs. Marcus Ward vs. Nick "The Hitlist" Blum Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal. Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal. Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal. Anyway, you have to predict Zyon to win since the others aren't established, although we'll see exactly how good the new guys are. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- THE LONDON CARD London Main Event - Best of Five Final Match - Canadian Deathmatch Toxxic vs. Scott Pretzler © Logical booking says Pretzler wins and gets move up the card. WWE booking would guarantee Toxxic takes it as a result. My pick: Pretzler in a coin flip. Wildchild vs. El Luchadore Magnifico III - This time it's personal! ELM SWF International Championship Match - Old School Rules "The Dean of Professional Wrestling" Jay Hawke © vs. Manson No prediction, but trust me guys, if I didn't think Manson was capable of pulling this one off I'd have never given him the stips. JJ Johnson vs. "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins My gut says JJ, but it should be close.

I actually ran with a similar angle for Jay Hawke back when I was running the old HIWF and couldn't get any applicants that wanted to be babyfaces. Basically, Hawke suffered a bump on his head out on the concrete floor after a match, and for about two months, everytime he wrestled he thought he was somebody else. I did Terry Funk, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes (which is still my favorite), and others. Finally, Hawke got a World Title shot and lost via a piledriver, and the move was enough to restore his memory. He went postal on the champion after the match and got suspended as a result. It worked in 2000, but probably sounds pretty fucking lame now
-
Did I seriously write that somewhere? I even reread the match before I sent it in and missed it. Um...did King call Pete Richard? I might have been channeling an old efed if that's the case. If not, then I dunno. Basically, Hassan got drafted to SmackDown, they did some stupid "terrorist" angle that aired the day of the first London bombings, and UPN forced WWE to write Hassan off the show. I refuse to go into any more detail about that angle because I don't want to start that debate again.

Anybody else notice that the vast majority of this is focused on videos that have only recently been released as it is? Congratulations, you've won an award based on the last two months.

Who the fuck ever came up with the rule that a starting pitcher can't start an inning if he's thrown over 100 pitches? I can maybe understand something like that early in the season, but whatever happened to "if he's pitching well, keep him in"?
