I'm still digging it. Loved this weeks episode. For a show with the premise that JOHN CONNOR MUST NOT DIE, they did a pretty nice job of putting him in legit danger. I also dig the notion that Skynet might be trying to build it's army before it's even come into existence.

I have to ask why you draw that conclusion. It's possible that more than Rob and co. did heroic things that night. If anything, a sequel from another perspective of the same attack that portrays other people doing heroic things just adds to that interpretation. How many stories came out of 9/11? Way more than three or four. The device used to set up a sequel (some other guy also filming) doesn't say anything about the intent of the original or the intent of the sequel.

Interesting, I thought the characters were of supreme importance. I do interpret the film through the lens of a post-9/11 New York, though. Ordinary people doing extraordinary, heroic things during a horrendous attack on the city. If the movie isn't about that, JJ fooled me.

Hey peeps, I work in video production and I thought it'd be cool to create stuff like the OAOAST opening titles or something and post it to YouTube for use in shows and PPV's. Anyone else think that'd be interesting? In time, I might be interested in putting together entrance videos too. Just thought I'd throw the idea out there. LP

The post-heavy stuff like Heroes will probably be done until next season The Office might have a shot. The problem might lie in whether or not the Town wants to fuck up the seasonal production cycle or not. The Spring schedules are probably locked in, though anything is possible in Ho'wood.

The DGA deal isn't a perfect deal for writers. DGA makes you think of Spielberg, but it's largely made up of assistant directors and other folks who don't really benefit from residuals. And residuals are what writers live on. I'm sad I missed most of this thread. I'm an independent writer/producer (not a Guild member yet). I've been following it pretty closely and researching Union issues along the way.

The Rumble itself was really great. I need to go back over the rest, but it looks like a fantastic show.

Since the last four or five posts have centred around various animal shit(hell, probably 4/10 of the posts so far - Tony Gwynn can't touch that), convince me helping guests is the lowest rung on the ladder. As indifferent as I am to animals, I'm enjoying this thread. I went to the Erie Zoo as a kid one summer. Was clearly bored until a camel (or maybe a llama) sneezed on my brother. Also went to Zoo Boo that fall. I don't remember what happened at it, but Joe Carter's homerun was that night also. For reasons similar to Milky's, I'm a little ashamed about how many times I went to Gatorland or similar places during my five trips to Florida in my life. Baron can confirm that, as the subject of animals on show and the correlation to Steve Irwin's death came up during a golf tournament we played in this past spring. I would have had no idea, until I found out more researching this thread. Maybe I'm just pissed because GatorLand never got back to me to answer the question. Hey - two baseball references and my lifetime's alligator history; what a post! Insofar as the respect level of the entire Zoo staff, we're at the bottom. Divers and land Zookeepers are considered to be higher in the system and more important - and they kind of operate in cliques even, as they don't seem to talk to us and we don't talk to them much. I would say that the Divers that vacuum fish crap out of the gravel in the big Indo-Pacific and other tanks would have a "worse" job, but they're in the water with relatively rare animals that they love and care for. So on a weird level, they enjoy vacuuming shit and scrubbing the tanks. Part of my job is being the outside "buddy", monitoring the dives in case something goes wrong so I can alert other dive staff to make a save. But we work the beast known as "The Asshole". They are many, they are stupid, and we encounter way more of them than the Zookeepers encounter something they don't like. We get the worst animal of all. Consumers.

I work at a Zoo (in SC, oddly enough as one was mentioned earlier). I haven't been there long enough yet to have a cool story. Though the lions eye me with delicious intent sometimes when I walk by their area.

I find the Joker blame suspect at best. Media sensationalism. Here's why: I'm an actor. I hang out with actors. Note, to the dicks looking for a fight on this board: I didn't say I'm famous, that I work in film or that you should have heard of me. All I'm saying is that I'm an actor. I'm trained on initial levels, I'm friends with far more serious and better trained actors. It's not my primary field - writing and directing are - but I'm versed. You have to learn to say goodbye to the show. I think Heath was smart enough to know that. It sounds to me like he was doing a ton of traveling (Australia, shooting the new movie which also had a strange role, and New York in short amounts of time), was working hard and had just gone through a breakup. Anybody's body would be maladjusted under those circumstances. I think it was a tragic accident, not the product of the Joker taking over his mind omgz~! This was shocking, sudden and sad news to me. I'm looking forward to The Dark Knight because it sounds like he put a ton of work into it and I want to remember him working hard and doing fantastic work.

She slides into the ring and hits the nearest turnbuckle for a cheer. Wrestling style: Flyer and Technical Finishing move: Venom-Lock (Sleeper with a body scissors, locked in and arching back to apply further pressure to the back as well as the strength of the sleeper hold itself). Chelicera (Vertebreaker) Signature moves: Superkicks and DDT variants. She considers the DDT an art form and likes to switch it up in the heat of the match. The floatover is her favorite and likes to nail it out of nowhere, particularly if it can help her reverse the flow back in her favor. She'll try a Shooting Star if she's in a good mood at really big matches. Generally, she likes to keep moving and keep it crisp. She's serious about being more than a Diva and she lets her moveset do the talking. Entrance attire: Same as ring attire. Ring attire: Black tank, black jean shorts. A spider emblem is on her chest, which, while a tank, isn't so low that she's ever in danger of a wardrobe malfunction. Knee and elbow pads on both legs and arms. Boots are knee high, with a dozen buckles running along the sides instead of laces. Profile: Widow likes being a diva but she likes being a serious competitor more. She likes to bring the beauty and the fun, but she's also a skilled in-ring performer who does her homework and trains hard, constantly trying to tighten up her existing move set and add to it. Widow is generally a good sport, loves everyone around her and is interested in great matches more than vengeance or feuds. She deeply loves Lunar Phoenix and, if they reconcile and begin working together again it would be incredibly difficult to break her away from him. The quickest way to earn her anger would be to do something to him.

All Phoenix is doing is accompanying Widow during her debut. Feel free to use him if you like.
