I'm pretty sure Cena got a lot of cheers tonight. Jericho sucks.

I'm sure people knew what I meant. Since Floyd/50 are buddies, I'd think 50 would let Floyd use it for a theme, for little to nothing. "I get Money" is the perfect song for Floyd, but now he has some lame ass Silk the Shocker type theme, that's cool for MVP, but it waters down Floyd's whole character... I'm sure you knew waht I was saying, but feel free too bitch for the sake of bitching. -

Was this a petty way of telling me, that they didn't change his music, when they obviously did change his music. -
I think the flame might've burned out on Matt/MVP, if they're still going with that program, I they should've started building it this past week.

I really hate that they changed Floyd's music from "I get Money" to generic WWE hip hop theme 234. -

Yeah, Jeff is a fan of the Blue Magic. -
How would YOU kill the ENTIRE WWE in 5-10 minutes?

Excatly... Jeff needs to win a title on SD! or RAW or else the whole point of building him up is wasted. As for the MITB concept... It's basically like the KOTR, where it helps establish wrestlers from the midcard/upper midcarder, into main event level status. MITB helped Edge greatly. And who else? RVD and Kennedy were both a bust. That is arguable, but if it is agreed they were busts, it was most certainly to outside circumstances. RVD cashing in at the ECW show was perfect and gave him good momentum. He would be considereda bust only due to the drug bust. Kennedy was primed to step it up and the injury screwed it all up. I think RVD's MITB/title reign, was done more too give ONS a buyrate boost and help jump off the ECW brand. I doubt WWE really had big plans for RVD, the drug bust was just the perfect reason to get the title off of him, and make a WWE guy the face of ECW. It would of have eventually happened like that anyway, and Rob would still have ended up leaving. Kennedy on the other hand, was a terrible choice. He might've became a major player if the injury didn't happen, but he still would've eventually got busted for steroids, not to mention making a fool of himself on Nancy Grace. So Batista would've still been champ and feuding with Khali most of the summer. Which means Edge would have probably been fed to a returning Triple H ( seeing as he avoided that program like the plague, but got lucky because Kennedy got hurt, and moved to Smackdown) He probably would've asked for a release after jobbing to Trips, which was implied a lot during the time. -
I think Vickie was more of a tweener before she met Edge, than Regal is now.

I think they should do away with the whole MITB concept, but it is effective. -

This show looked better than the original one by light years. -
Armaggedon, but certain people on this board think the title still has value. I guess the same applies to Jeff Hardy and his I.C. Title. Yes it does.

I'm sure thats the route they're going Scroty, if they don't decide to kill it for not meeting expectations in the coming weeks. -

I'm sure they'd know Tim Duncan also, he's won 3 NBA Championships in the last 5 years. I'm sure he'd be named in the top 10 pretty easy. -
He wasn't the WWE Champion at the time, he didn't get busted by the cops, and his best friend wasn't in the passenger seat with a bag full of pain killers at the time either.

I'm sure if Tim Duncan challenged somebody in WWE, people would know who he is. I can understand a guy watches wrestling and nothing else, but too still not know Tim Duncan , thats really odd. -

Mayweather is bigger than anybody they could've gotten from UFC. -
This match is really a disappointment, I've watched about 10 times and it still does nothing for me.

The thread asked what would happen if I was in charge of Raw. The reason I would bring RVD back if I was in charge is because everyone on Raw bores me in their current roles, and RVD doesn't. Also, both times that he's been well booked for more than a couple months (summer/fall 2001 and spring/summer 2006), he's been extremely over, moreso than any face has been on Raw since he left. Cena's over in his own way, but I want a traditional face champion, one that's cheered by males 18-35 in addition to children and women. That's supposed to be the WWE's target demographic, and they've been left too long without someone they can cheer for. I think a lot of them are just turning off the product completely for that very reason. You know, there's really no reason that RVD isn't in the WWE right now in the first place other than that the bookers don't like him and won't find anything for him to do in the main event. Well, I could definitely find something for him to do in the main event, and if I offered him a 6-month title reign starting a month after he came back, I'm sure RVD would be more than happy to wrestle on Raw every week. Or its probably because he was caught with dope when he finally got the title, and he's also not too good of a wrestler

I'm guessing because of Spygate, Clemons, and Jason Kidd's trade controversy its not really a big story now, but since it was on ATH and PTI today, I'm sure it'll pick up in the next 5 1/2 weeks. So because there's other big sports stories, it isn't getting any play? There's ALWAYS going to be big stories. There will be injuries, spring training, NFL draft, more trial stuff, NBA season winding down, etc. There's never not going to be something going on. Mayweather isn't a big mainstream name. Sports fans know him, but that's about it. Having Baseball favorite player being outed by his 2 best friends as a cheat is a very big story. Having the best team in football (arguably) being sued for cheating their way to a Superbowl ring, is a very big story. Shaq 1st game for the Suns is a pretty big story. Jason Kidd getting held up because 2 players rom Dallas are acting like pricks is a big story. If the stories were just about "Injuries, the draft, spring training, and the NBA season winding down" and Mayweather didn't get much coverage, then you would have a valid point, but thats not the case there is some really big stories in sports right now and wrestling is not a top priority. When Floyd was being asked by White to join UFC, after making some comments about how MMA was a joke, it made ESPN. So I see no reason why him being involved in wrestling wouldn't make it, unless it was some huge stories going on. If anything its not Floyd fault, if could be nobody wants anything to do with pro wrestling.
