Guest Flyboy Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 If only I could vote again...... *sighs* I know, man.
Guest treble charged Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Well, even though I don't give two shits either way, I voted for GNR. I hope you guys are happy.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 shit its tied, end this thread now!!!!1
Guest Flyboy Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Well, even though I don't give two shits either way, I voted for GNR. I hope you guys are happy. *hugs treble* YES! YES! YES!
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 grrrrr, well at least history was right
Guest Moses The Monkey Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 *breaks tie again* I like GNR, buuuuut... Metallica, babay~!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 History was right? What does that mean? The history that saw GNR sell more albums and headline a tour with Metallica under them?
Guest Flyboy Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 *breaks tie again* I like GNR, buuuuut... Metallica, babay~! Bleh!
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 History was right? What does that mean? The history that saw GNR sell more albums and headline a tour with Metallica under them? history forgets GnR, while Metallica comes off as being the big influece etc Metallica never got mainstream attention till the Black Album, GnR had more, but oh well
Guest Flyboy Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 History was right? What does that mean? The history that saw GNR sell more albums and headline a tour with Metallica under them? That would be the one!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 If history forgot them...it's because they left. I'd rather have my band leave...then headline Lollapalooza.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 well yea Metallica did sell out, I'll admit it, but at least they don't have to move along pathetically like Axl Rose does he was the ONLY thing I hated about GnR, he was a pompous arrogant bitch, much like the Lars of Metallica
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Ironically...Lars always puts over how great GNR is..and how no matter what direction there next album takes it will rock because its Axl. More reason to hate him...
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I hate Axl because he skimps out on the fans time after time, he insults everyone by calliung his project Guns 'N Roses, when they are clearly inferior I find their work with the fans to be important When I saw Metallica they followed a horrid Slipknot set with a 3 hour killer set and I still think Axl will always be a bitch for what he did after Hetfield got burned on that tour
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 hmm...the words let it go come to mind. What was that...a decade ago?
Guest The Man in Blak Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Well, if RVD came out and got blown up by some pyrotechnic error...and Triple H came out, bitched out the fans, and said the show was over...wouldn't you have been pissed?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 GNR being compared to HHH bothers me to much to answer that question.
Guest thefrenchargel Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Lars and Axl need to run into each other and cancel each other out of existence. Slayer's better than Metallica and GNR put together with room to spare, IMO.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 metallica by a coin toss.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 well, about it being a decade ago, like the saying goes you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I know its unfair to acuse him of doing something like that now, but Axl had developed himself with areputation of being whiny backstage, and he has to live with it
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 31, 2002 Report Posted July 31, 2002 GNR being compared to HHH bothers me to much to answer that question. I interpreted the statement with Metallica as HHH...
