i think it's the halfway point in that there are 8 matches. divided in half, 4 of the matches are left. it's not halfway through in actual time.

The fixation with putting over Bubba, who despite the endless pushing has NEVER even come close to any sort of legitimate run...he just wins matches, puts people through tables, and then doesn't do anything. Very weird. If the writers were actually giving him a push, I'd understand...but he doesn't do ANYTHING.

 

As for Cena/Jericho...is there a point? They've been giving Cena tricky little wins over Jericho for two weeks now. Why do another? If he's going to win, if they're going to job Jericho, give Cena some sort of legitimate, decent win! Another roll-up doesn't do crap for him; he's already beaten him that way.

 

The booking team seems to go halfway on everything. People get hints of pushes, everyone is protected, and almost no conflicts are allowed to end decisively.

 

Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette, people.
