Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 "Nothing like a big old DQ to make a match interesting" -CRZ, circa 1999
Guest midnight_burn Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Huge RVD chants, but Brock goes to Summerslam to probably become an un-over Undisputed champ. And now more Bishoff crap, yay.
Guest Shadow Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 ***1/4, ALL of it for RVD. RVD retains by DQ for Heyman pulling the ref out after the ***** Frog Splash, incidentally. I disagree. ***3/4 for the match, all RVD. That was worth it.
Guest Kingpk Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 It took them that long to get a divorce? Damn, I'd fire my lawyer if I were HHH.
Guest Shadow Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 I have to give the Devil her due. That acting by Stephanie, sad over the divorce papers being signed, was definitley good. And Triple H was INTENSE~! as usual. I don't mind the interviews (mainly because I'm an HHH mark, I guess) overall, but that one was especially good.
Guest Marshall Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Wouldnt it be great if HHH could switch places with Jericho just for one day, ala Vice Versa. Think about it.

I disagree. ***3/4 for the match, all RVD. That was worth it. I figured ****1/2 for the RVD part, and 1/2* for the Lesnar part, so I couldn't give it anything past ***1/4.

Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Maybe in the final segment where HHH chooses Raw or Smackdown... Vince, HHH, Bischoff, and Stephanie will all be in the ring. Fuck, stick Michael Cole in there too for no reason. THEN BLOW UP THE FUCKING RING! Now that = RATINGS!
Guest midnight_burn Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Big Show v Booker T, going by the trend of the PPV so far Big Show will win.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 And the bookers waste their time with Brock and RVD. They're not prolonging the feud. This is a one-time deal, for now at least. They send Brock to Summerslam for a title shot...but he can't beat the IC champ. COMMIT TO SOMETHING, GOD DAMMIT.

Guest Marshall Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Accoeding to the logic of this PPV Big show destroys Booker in a complete squash

Guest CanadianChris Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Crowd is dead for this one, even the entrances. Can't say as I blame them.
Guest 4Life Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Backstage, Bischoff is still pacing around outside of Stephanie's lockerroom when she steps out with a disappointed look on her face. Bischoff laughs and asks her what the matter is - did it not go as she had hoped? Stephanie pauses and then says "he signed". Triple H steps out and Bischoff goes ballastic questioning his business motives. Triple H then responds that he signed his divorce papers. As for whether he will join Raw or Smackdown!, he hasn't decided yet. The agony continues.....
Guest Shadow Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Crowd is dead for this one, even the entrances. Can't say as I blame them. No, it has nothing to do with this match. Brock killing RVD after RVD almost got off a Van Terminator really killed the crowd. I mean, you could just hear the wind being taken out of their sails. If Brock was a good Heel, the fans would still be jazzed up because they were booing Brock relentlessly for what he did. But he's not. He just annoys the fans who come to see RVD, and instead get to watch RVD get killed by the Heatless Wonder, Brock Lesnar.

They have to have some sort of little break between matches, and usually we get stupid WWE Shopzone.com ads. So I don't mind getting HHH interviews instead.

Guest Kingpk Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Scissor kick through announce table. Ok, that was cool.
Guest Shadow Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 HOLY SHIT! That was an awesome move! Way to get the most out of a freaking Big Show match, Booker!
Guest CanadianChick Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 After that, the Book has to win...
Guest eiker_ir Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 i'm not watching so how the hell did he did it?
