Guest Kingpk Report post Posted July 29, 2002 I think Donald Hayes (WR) will be a great compliment for Troy Brown and David Patten in the Pats recieving corps, plus actually having a decent TE (Christian Fauria) should help Brady out immensly. Also, I'd like to tell the Steelers to SHUT THE FUCK UP about their loss last season. They still believe they are the better team, even though their special teams SUCKED, Bettis was a non-factor, and Stewart threw 2 picks late in the game, blowing it like he usually does. I'm tempted to go to Vegas and put something down on the Pats win line (8 1/2).
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted July 29, 2002 William Green And no not just because i happen to be a Browns fan. Also keep a eye on Marquis Walker the rookie Tampa Bay WR from Michigan. He fell to the third round because of not having amazing speed but he catches everything. He has a few WRs in front of him that he will have to beat out to get good playing time but if he gets a chance he'll open some eyes.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted July 30, 2002 The story going around is that Tony Gonzalez may sit out the season if he doesn't get a new contract. Bear that in mind for the draft.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted July 30, 2002 I think Fred Taylor and Shaun Alexander are going to shine this year. Holmgren's dumbass can't seem to figure out that Alexander is the FUTURE of tyhat club and if they go back to the old, tired, egotistical jerkoff Watters, I'll be pissed. And with Taylor, I think he's coming into this season more motivated than ever because of Coughlin's bullshit from last year and he will be out to prove him and all the other naysayers wrong. Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 30, 2002 Drew Brees is fighting for a starting job with Doug Flutie. Nothing get instant media attention to a sub par team like the Chargers than a QB controvertsy. But the WRs that they have to throw to are not exactly Pro Bowl personal. Tim Dwight could be a sleeper, considering this could be his 1st time at a starting job, if Dwight returns kicks he could be a good 4 or 5 WR. And then there is Conway who on good seasons can go 1000 yards, the last season shows potential of greatness. Cowboys just got hit by the injury bug again as their potential starting Blocking Fullback is out for the season. This can affect the Emmit Smith run for the record books and the moral of the QB as he will run for his life again whoever it is. The Defense is getting a lot of attention as they picked up big name free agents and signed their #1 pick Roy Williams.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted July 30, 2002 ::::: throws away Bacardi Silver bottles ::::: What? Actually, I missed that announcement, I think. It was probably in the middle of my ESPN boycott and since I rarely read the newspaper back then, so I just never knew. In any case, why don't the both of you BUGGER OFF!(I am such a cad, I tell ya.) Guest El Satanico Report post Posted July 30, 2002 If Cowboys can get any sort of production from the offense they should have a good defense. They may be a decent defense even if the offense doesn't give them any help.
Guest hardyz1 Report post Posted July 30, 2002 Anthony Thomas did pretty well for me in the second half of last season. As did Jerome Bettis. In my 8 team league, Bettis was a free agent for a good portion of the season until I picked him up.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted July 30, 2002 Well free agency will be interesting with 20 teams
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Will we know the draft order before the draft, or will this be one of those "finding out 20 min. beforehand that you have the 20th pick in every round and weeping" kind of things?
Guest MrRant Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Will we know the draft order before the draft, or will this be one of those "finding out 20 min. beforehand that you have the 20th pick in every round and weeping" kind of things? I am gonna randomize it probably tomorrow sometime so it will give you a day to get your shit together. Besides I like the weeping.
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Hey, I'd almost rather the 20th pick in the draft. I like the whole "two picks in a row" thing. It's certainly better than having the 13th and 28th pick or something inane like that. LUNATIC - Pimpin' ho's and clockin' a grip like my name was Dolemite. Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Report post Posted July 31, 2002 Good, I was hoping to get the first pick in the draft ... ... so I can trade it. I will entertain any and all offers for the #1 pick. Anyone who wants it, send me an offer. My AOL IM name is PhatBoy628, and my Yahoo Messenger name is Lunatic19E. AOL is your best bet. This should be interesting. Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted July 31, 2002 #2 nice. One of the two elite players and picks almost in a row. I am glad I didn't get 3-6 because there is no blow away players I would want in that area and it would be forever til the 2nd round pick.

Guest y2jailbait Report post Posted August 1, 2002 #7, good good good. By the way, would the draft be 4:30 central, or would it be 3:30 central? i never ever think about time zones, so can someone help me out, in the words of D'Lo Brown, HBO: Help a Brother Out! Guest hardyz1 Report post Posted August 1, 2002 17...damn. Does anyone know how long the draft is going to last? I have to go to work immediately after it's over. (I work for my mom, so she cuts me slack; I was supposed to work at 4). 360 picks seems like it would take a while.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted August 1, 2002 well considering that each pick is allotted 1 1/2 minute of time it can go quickly
